Alpha and Omega

“Jimmy, where are we going?” Brian asked. “I told you,” said Jimmy, “It’s a surprise.” Jimmy tried holding back tears. Brian is his best friend since they were kids and now he was metaphorically sticking a gigantic knife in Brian’s back. Jimmy escorted the blindfolded Brian into Val’s house… only to find Val made a change of plans.

Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!
“I’m coming!” yelled Zacky. He opened his front door to see Matt standing before him. “Hey Matt,” Zacky said while rubbing the sleepy seeds out of his eyes, “What’s up?” “Have you seen Brian?” asked Matt, “He didn’t come home last night.” “I didn’t see him,” said Zacky, “If you give me a couple minutes, I’ll get changed and help you find him.” Matt hugged Zacky tightly, “Thank you. I appreciate it.” After a pause Matt’s eyes snapped open. He pushed himself away from Zacky. Zacky blushed of embarrassment. “Sorry,” said Zacky, “I’m still tired.” “Just get changed,” said Matt.

*Central Park*

“He’s not in that secret spot either,” said Zacky. Matt bit his bottom lip hard. “Matt,” said Zacky, “We’ll find him.” “Hey guys!” They turned to see Johnny running towards them. “I check with the guys at Johnny’s Bar,” said Johnny, “Brian wasn’t there.” Matt looked even more worried. “Hey where’s Jimmy?” Zacky asked. “He didn’t answer his phone so I just left him a voicemail,” answered Matt. “I think we should go check on him,” said Zacky.

*Jimmy’s House*

Knock! Knock! Knock! “Jimmy?” Johnny called out, “Jimmy?” Knock! Knock! Knock! Zacky reached out and turned the doorknob. “It’s unlocked,” said Zacky as he turned the knob all the way and pushed the door open. The guys walked in. “Jimmy!” Matt called out. As the others walked around the house, Matt scanned around the kitchen. He noticed a folded piece of paper on the kitchen table. Matt grabs the paper, unfolds the paper, and begins to read. “He’s not here,” said Zacky. “He’s at Val’s,” Matt said in a monotone voice as he keeps reading the paper.
“He took Brian there,” Matt explained. “What? Why?” Johnny asked. “She made him,” answered Matt, “Or she would hurt Leana.” Zacky and Johnny could see the look in Matt’s eyes that let them know he was about the go in Hulk-Mode. “I’m gonna kill her,” Matt said as he went for the door. Zacky tried to pull Matt, even though Matt was far stronger than him. Johnny ran and blocked the front door. “Johnny! Move!” Matt shouted. “You can’t just go over there,” said Johnny. “We need a plan,” said Zacky, “If you just march in there, you knows what Val will do.” Tears filled the corners of Matt’s eyes. His body was shaking. “We’re gonna save them,” said Johnny as he tried comforting Matt, “and Val will get what she deserves.”
