Alpha and Omega

Brian turned onto his other side. Then he felt a small cool breeze on his nose. He opened his eyes slightly to find Matt softly blowing air at him. “Hey baby,” Matt said softly with a dimpled smile. Brian moved in closer and pressed his lips against Matt’s. Knock! Knock! Knock! “Hey!” Johnny hollered, “Are you guys up yet? We need to get going!”

*On the way back home*
“I can’t believe the heater’s broken,” Johnny said, hugging himself as he sat on the tiny couch on the tour bus. “Complaining isn’t gonna make it work again,” said Zacky, who was also on the couch wrapped in a blanket.
Brian was in the bunk area putting on a black hoodie. After he popped his head through the top of the hoodie, he saw Matt was inches away from him. “My old house is officially up for sale,” said Matt. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his keys. Matt took one key from the metal loop and tossed in the trashcan sitting next to the tiny fridge. “I won’t be needing that anymore.” Brian looked to check that no one was looking, before leaning in for a kiss.
Brian and Matt walked to the living room area of the bus. Jimmy slowly opened the door of the bathroom. He reached in the trashcan, retrieved Matt’s old house key, and put it in his pocket.

*Back in Huntington Beach*
“What’s the latest news?”

“Matt’s officially moved in with Brian. I thought you might want this. He threw it away.”

“What a shame.”

“Am I done?”

“Not yet.”

“Come on Val.”

“You do as I tell you Jimmy… I mean if something bad were to happen to Leana.”

“You promised you would leave her alone. You wanted to know why Matt was acting differently and I told you. Why do you have to do this? I don’t like betraying my friends.”

“I did if you were to do what you are told. Now come back here if any new news comes up… or Leana might accidently fall down a flight of stairs.”

“……Yes Val…”
