Everything with Emma was just fantastic having her around I feel so complete around her she's gotten along with the guys and their wives at Matt's barbeque the other day she's such a good person to be around I didn't want her to leave my sight even for a few seconds she was just great with Pinkly I wonder how she would do with Claire?

Michelle was over to Matt and Val's house with Claire for the day because she had a play date with River and Val loved having Claire around River since Matt was a away most of the time because of the upcoming tour. Val saw Michelle looking down at her phone she started getting concerned she looked away and focused on preparing lunch for River and Claire but something still lingered on in Michelle's mind and Val was determined to find out what it was.

"Lunch is ready!" Val screamed from the kitchen River ran up to the table and took his place at the table Michelle saw Claire struggling to to stand up but she fell down she laughed for a moment and helped Claire up to the table. Val placed the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on the table along with a a glass of milk and went back to the kitchen to wash up and settle down before having a talk with Michelle.

"Hey Chelle can I have a talk with you for a minute ?" Val asked. Michelle finished picking up Claire's toys and placing them in her play pen.

"What's wrong ?" Michelle asked

"Are you doing okay ?" Val asked

"I'm doing fine why did you ask that silly question ?" Michelle asked

"I'm just worried about you that's all" Val replied.

Brian had a surprise planned for Emma but he wasn't going to give anything away. Emma saw Brian coming down the hall with packed suitcases and struggling to get them to his car she knew something was going on but she didn't want to answer ask any questions until the time being.

"Where are you going?" Emma asked putting Pinkly on the couch

"You mean where are we going ?" Brian said Emma smiled

"Do you need help ?" Emma asked

"No I'm fine." Brian replied

"Alrighty then cupcake." Emma laughed

"But I still want to know where were going!" Emma yelled from living room.

Matt's P.O.V.
After my meeting with Michelle at the cafe the other day I knew she wasn't telling me all that I needed to know she seemed so distant from everyone and everything but she couldn't hide anything from me she and Brian rarely spoke unless it involved Claire besides Brian was with Emma now and he seemed happier than I've seen him ever.

With everything happening Brian and Michelle were strangers more than anything they didn't want anything to do with one another unless it was for Claire their divorce would be finalized in two weeks and then they could move on with their lives.

~Later that evening~
"Val are you ready to go ?" Matt called from downstairs Val was applying the last of her makeup and adjusting her dress Michelle had been occupied with River and Claire she turned around and saw Val in a short white dress and her hair was curled to the side and she wore black heels Val saw Michelle had been enjoying her time with River and Claire she had been a joy to have around the house since staying over for the past two weeks. Val turned to Michelle

"Wow sis you look amazing." Michelle said

"Thanks Chelle!" Val replied she kissed River goodnight and headed for the door where Matt had been waiting with a bouquet of roses in hand.

Michelle's P.O.V.
It had been amazing staying with my sister and Matt but my mind has been focused on Brian the entire time I didn't want to discuss the status of our divorce with anyone but the truth had to come out sometime.

Flashback
"Brian I love you!" Michelle screamed Brian looked coldly in her eyes

"Well I don't love you like I used to you've changed." Brian replied

"Is it because of what happened with Matt two years ago ?!" Michelle asked nervously.

"Yes it is I don't want to have a wife that cheats on her husband that she supposedly loves with his best friend!" Brian yelled

"That happened two years ago!" Michelle yelled

"That's still betrayal!" Brian yelled.

Michelle sat down on the floor next to River and Claire thinking about that night but that doesn't excuse the mistake that Michelle made with Matt that night and it was eating at her every single day that went by Michelle had so much that she had hidden from Brian and everything was beginning to haunt her.
