Broken Pieces

Brian's P.O.V.
Michelle had been asleep all day I heard Claire crying on the baby monitor I ran upstairs to the nursery she stood up in her crib I couldn't believe that I was a father it was still hitting me I'm going to teach her all the values of being a Haner... except for the drinking, smoking, and women other than that she's going be growing up knowing that Michelle and I love her.

Brian carried Claire downstairs and put her in a high chair it was his turn to feed her but he didn't know what Michelle had in the cabinets she had baby proofed the house before Claire was born. "She did this for your safety baby girl" Brian said he heard Michelle walking downstairs she looked sick "Why do you look like that ?" Brian asked Michelle tilted her head "I'm sick genius" Michelle replied Brian turned back to Claire he had a jar of applesauce in his hand. Michelle loved how sweet Brian was being she knew that he loved being a father.

Brian heard the doorbell ring he could see a slim woman through the glass door she had red hair only one name Maria.

"What the hell are you doing here ?" Brian asked

"I wanted to see you" Maria replied

"Well right now is not a good time now leave before I call the cops" Brian said.

"Okay but don't forget I still have that video that we made together" Maria smirked

"If you show anyone that video I will... Brian didn't have time to finish his sentence Michelle had walked up to the door and saw Brian with a priceless look on his face "Who was that Brian ?" Michelle asked Brian had to think of something before asked for the real truth.

"It was a spokesperson she asked me if I wanted to try this new product that they are testing out" Michelle was curious.

"Tell me the truth Brian" Michelle said Brian scratched the back of his head

"It was Maria" Michelle was shocked she didn't reply all she knew was that if she wasn't going to leave Brian alone she would deal with her sooner or later.
