So wrong, its right

Zacky’s Pov
The whole day I got looks from people. Some people thought what Brian did was awesome but others thought he took it too far. I didn’t care I just couldn’t help feel special. He did it for me. I was sat in last lesson pretending to pay attention. I started drumming on the desk with my pencils the tune to a song I was writing for M.P.A when a paper ball hit the back of my head. I turned around to see a kid I’d never seen before smiling at me. He seemed pretty cool. He was wearing a Metallica shirt and ripped jeans. He had a baseball cap placed lazily on his head and his hair was kinda long.
“BAKER, BERRY! Pay attention!” The teacher shouted at us. I turned back around and continued to drum on my desk. 10 minutes later the bell rang signalling the start of lunch at I stood up from my desk.
“Hey man” The berry kid said.
“Hey, Im Zacky” I said smiling and putting my bag on my shoulder.
“Jason” He replied. “So you’re the kid who got beat up right?” He asked stuffing his hands in his pockets.
“Look man you seem nice and all but if you’re gonna ask me the details you can kindly fuck off” I said walking out of the room.
“Nah dude that not want I wanted I was just gonna say how shitty that is I mean who cares if you’re gay love is love” He said following me.
“Why are you even talking to me?” I asked sceptical of his motives.
“You seem cool” He smiled.
“Thanks” I smiled. “Wanna hang out with me and my friends?” I asked him.
“Can I bring my brother” He asked “I swear he’s cool” He added when I raised my eyebrow.
“Sure” I said walking toward where me, Brian and Jimmy sit at lunch. Brian spotted me and walked over.
“Hey I met this kid he’s called Matt Berry he’s totally cool” He said smiling at me grabbing my hand. “Who’s this?” He asked.
“This is Jason Berry” I said looking at Jason.
“Matt’s my brother” He added
“Oh cool” Me and Brian said in unison making the three of us laugh. We walked over to where Jimmy and Matt B. were talking.
“…..So I was like “C’mere ya fucking duck!” And I just started chasing it” Jimmy laughed making Matt laugh.
“Jimmy I swear to god you tell everyone that story!” I laughed with everyone else.
“Well it’s a good story of love, life and death.” Jimmy said like a poet looking of into the distance.
“Death of what your sanity?” Jason joked making every else laugh. The Berry’s seemed pretty cool to be honest.
“Hey Berry’s wanna hang out with us after school?” Brian asked.
“Sure don’t see why not” Jason shrugged taking another bite of his sandwich. The bell for the end of lunch rang and we all stood up. Me and Brian walked hand in hand to homeroom which was next to Matt’s and Jason was in the same as Jimmy. I smiled at our homeroom teacher who was sat at her desk marking some papers.
“Baker?” She called looking at her glasses sliding to the end of her nose.
“Yes ma’am?” I said turning.
“Could you come here a moment?” She asked. I let go of Brian’s hand and walked to her desk.
“I just wanted to say im really proud of you” She said lowering her voice so no one else could hear.
“For what?” I asked slightly confused.
“For not being afraid to show who you really are I admire you for that” She smiled.
“Thanks ma’am” I said turning around and walking back to my seat next to Brian.
“What she say?” He asked
“She said she was proud of me” I answered smiling.
“Im proud of you too” He said picking up my hand and placing his lips on it gently causing some girls to go “AAWWW!” I laughed at the two girl I knew as Lily and Phoebe they seemed like cool girls. Phoebe had bright blue hair and Lily’s was a sandy blonde. I’d always overhear them discussing Metallica or Misfit and to be honest if I was straight I probably would have asked one of them out my now.
“Don’t listen to what everyone else is saying okay you’re free to be who you want” Phoebe said to us smiling.
“Thanks” Me and Brian smiled back.
“Hey do you guys wanna hang out with us after school?” Brian asked.
“Dude we so would but we got band practise.” Lily said.
“Can we watch?” I asked looking between Phoebe and Lily.
“Sure” They smiled at us.
“Is it okay if we bring some friends?” Brian asked referring to the Berry’s.
“As long as they like metal then sure!” Lily said smiling at Brian. Phoebe grinned at us then went back to their conversation about some guy named Jordan. We talked for a while and the bell for last lesson rang. I had History with Lily and Phoebe. We walked together talking about Misfits and guitars and Brad walked our way. He went straight to Phoebe and pinned her against the lockers.
“Well hello there baby girl” He said trying to be seductive.
“fuck off!” Phoebe scoffed.
“Oooohh Feisty, I like me a tough girl” He said licking his lips and leaning close to her ear. Lily tried to pull Brad off of Phoebe but he just smacked her round the face pushing her back onto the floor.
“Fuck!” She muttered under her breathe as she pulled her hand away from her head to reveal it covered in red. Phoebe began struggling against Brad’s hold but he held her tighter against the locker. I attempted to pull him off of her but my broken arm restricted my actions. I looked around the empty corridor and as if by magic Brian, Matt and Jason ran out of their classes. Matt went over to see if Lily was okay and Jason & Brian ran to my side to help Phoebe. Brian dragged Brad off of Phoebe and punched him round the face. Jason ran and hugged Phoebe who was crying, I wasn’t surprised I’d be petrified if that happened to me.
“Do I need to fucking kill you? do you ever give up?” Brian shouted in Brad’s face as he held him by the collar. Brad shook his head frantically looking terrified I couldn’t help but laugh at his face. By now there was a crowd gathered around us and Brian threw Brad onto the floor standing up straight. Matt, Lily, Phoebe and Jason had gone to the school nurse.
“Are you okay?” Brian asked me looking at me.
“Yeah im fine, Im just worried about Phoebe that’s all” I smiled at him and we walked away. We didn’t bother going to lessons we just waited outside of the nurse’s office with Matt and Jason for Lily and Phoebe to come back out. After 20 minutes they both came out laughing.
“Well that was eventful” Phoebe laughed at Lily “Thanks guys” She smiled at us all.
“That’s cool” Jason said smiling at Phoebe. Phoebe smiled back shyly blushing.
“oooOOOoooh!” Lily laughed poking Phoebe in the stomach.
“Shut up!” She whispered harshly making Lily laugh even more. The bell rang and people started running out of lessons. Matt and Lily walked next to each other talking and flirting whilst Jason and Phoebe walked hand in hand. They were extremely cute together. Phoebe was extremely pretty and Jason was very good looking so they fit perfectly. Jimmy came running after us and joined Matt and Lily’s conversation.
“So where are we going?” I asked Phoebe and Lily.
“To my house, it’s where we practise.” Lily smiled at Matt. We walked to rest of the way talking about random shit. When we got to Lily’s house she opened the garage door to reveal lots of instruments.
“Cooool!” Jimmy said running to the drums and sitting on the stool.
“We gotta wait for Jordan, Alex and Rachel, and then we can practise.” Phoebe said A few moments later I could see 3 figures walking towards us. Lily smiled and waved at them and they walked over.
“Hey guys!” They said to everyone, we all introduced ourselves and then they set up to play. Lily was on Lead Guitar, Jordan was on bass, Rachel was singing, Alex was on drums and Phoebe was on rhythm guitar.
Brians Pov
Their band was awesome, they were called Day of the dead and they rocked. Phoebe and Lily kept talking smack to each other as they played making everyone laugh. A few hours later we found ourselves sitting on the floor playing truth or dare. An hour ago Matt had joined us and we decided to call Matt Berry, M. B to stop the confusion.
“Lily truth or dare!” Jimmy almost shouted.
“DARE FUCKER!” Lily shouted back.
“KISS M.B ON THE LIPS!!” He shouted even louder. M.B and Lily turned and shrugged at each other and leaned in so they could kiss. As their lips touched we all cheered and clapped making them blush. When they pulled away Lily shifted slightly closer to M.B.
“Lily what time is it?” Phoebe asked.
“Urm…. 7:30” She said smiling.
“Dude I gotta go home my mother will kill me” She said standing up.
“Want me to walk you home?” Jason asked.
“Sure” Phoebe blushed. They made their way to the edge of the garage and slid the door open.
“Later!” Phoebe called.
“Bye” We all called back. I turned to see Lily’s head resting on Matt’s shoulder. They looked cute together too.
“Lily can I borrow your guitar?” I asked.
“Yeah you can use the black one” She said pointing to a shiny black guitar in the corner. I got up and walked over to it putting the strap around me then sitting back down again.
“Do you mind if I play something?” I asked looking around.
“Go ahead.” Jordan smiled at me and I started to strum. I began to sing nothing else matters by Metallica. It was Zacky’s favourite song. When I was done everyone started clapping.
“Dude! That was awesome!” Lily said lifting her head off of M.B’s shoulder.
“Thanks Matt’s an awesome singer too” I said looking at matt who was holding hands with johnny.
“Could we hear?” Rachel asked.
“Yeah sure!” Matt said flashing a dimple filled smile. He began to sing Iron Maiden and he sounded like a professional singer. I knew he was good but I didn’t realise he was that good. Half was through Jimmy stood up and started playing along on the drums.
“You guys could totally start a band!” Lily squealed.
“That would be pretty cool” Zacky shrugged, smiling. The door that connected to Lily’s house opened and a head popped round the door. It was the guy from yesterday the short kid who was hanging around with Brad.
“Lily, mom said you’re friends gotta go cause it’s getting late” The kid said. He looked around the room and stopped at me and Zacky. “Hey you are those guys who beat up Brad the other day” He beamed.
“Uh yeah we are” I laughed.
“Johnny actually fuck off!” Lily said to Johnny. Johnny flipped her off and walked back inside the house.
“Sorry guys you gotta go before my mother kills us all” Lily laughed. We all stood up and began to leave. I noticed M.B stayed behind a little bit longer and when he came back his lips were tinted red from Lily’s lipstick. I just laughed and carried on walking home. Jimmy and Matt disappeared somewhere and M.B went home, probably to call Lily. I walked Zacky to his house.
“That was fun!” Zacky said smiling.
“Yeah they’re cool!” I said looking into his green eyes that were sparkling under the porch light. “I should go before I get stabbed” I laughed. I kissed Zacky on the cheek and he pouted.
“Is that all I get” He asked. I pushed him gently up against the wall of his house and kissed him roughly. Luckily no one could see us because it was dark. I could feel my body tingling and I knew this was the right time to tell him. When I pulled away Zacky smirked at me.
“Better” He said kissing my cheek and opening the door.
“Zacky?” I asked, He turned around “I love you”
