Chapter 5
Erin’s P.O.V
Well the guys were definitely beating my ass, Lil Red exited stage right with Johnny for another smoke, Hannah was with Vic which wasn’t anything new and since she left Jimmy who was winning decided to go back to their bus with Zack. Brian had moved to the gaming room where he was watching Matt get his ass kicked and I grabbed the bottle of tequila and walked outside.
“Hey E where are you going?” Lil Red asked.
“I’m just gonna go for a walk or something” I said to her and she just giggled a little.
“With a bottle of tequila?” She asked her speech was slightly slurred and Johnny was laughing at the conversation in general. Mike came off the bus.
“What happened… the party was going so well” He said… ah Mike you always made an entrance at the oddest times.
“I was telling your sister that I was going for a walk and she was weirded out by the fact that I am bringing the tequila with me” I told him summarizing.
“E you shouldn’t be going off alone in the middle of the night” Mike said and I just waved them all of and walked over watching the stage people tear stuff down and just sat in the grass relaxing. I ran my hands through my hair and remembered the first show that we did where people actually came and it was in some really dank and grungy bar… but it was a rush. I remember when Lil Red and I would sit there with her bass and my guitar and just make funky rhythms… eventually she would start writing lyrics as we went… and then we extended the offer to Charlie cause she made sick beats with the drums… But we knew we were complete when my twin Hannah started showing up with me to band practice. She would grab one of Vic’s guitars and start syncing up with us…. She basically made herself an official member… we have come so far.
“Boo!” A man said loudly and I shot up and kicked him in the stomach and when they fell over I noticed it was Brian. I just sat there for a moment as he clenched his stomach and when he stood upright again I just lifted my eyebrow at him.
“Jesus girl you got a good fucking kick on ya!” He said getting his breathing back to normal but I just stood there once again.
“What the hell is your damage?! YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME!” I said yelling towards the end and he just laughed but stopped seeing my face.
“Hey there chill out okay, it was meant to be a harmless little scare, I am sorry” He said and I just took a deep breath and sat back down taking another drink out of the bottle.
“How in the heck do you do it?” He asked and I just sat there confused as he sat down next to
me.
“Do what?” I asked.
“Drink that much and still be alert and focused?” He asked and I just smiled.
“Ah well I just like drinking and after so long it really doesn’t get to me anymore… “ I said and he nodded and we sat there in silence for a moment and he scooted closer and I just let him do it more and more… ya know… let him have his fun but when he put his arm around me I pulled away and stood up.
“Look I get that you really like fucking around and stuff… but the sleazy pickup lines are a turn off in a man for me” I said to him and started walking away back towards my bus so I could get some rest for the evening and I felt him pull on my shoulder.
“Okay message received the fucking pickup lines should stop… but I mean damn you are hot and I just cant come out and say that to you… and its even harder not to say anything because you are walking around in underwear and a bra” He said and I just had to give him that one.
“Listen this tour has been a holy fucking mess of men hitting on me, and while you are a guitar god in my opinion I just don’t take any ones shit” I said straight up to him continuing my walk back to ADWs bus. He walked by me in silence the whole time and when I stopped at the bus I just turned and smiled.
“Okay so listen sorry if I have been a bit of a bitch to you, I just don’t like being hit on by someone I really don’t know” I said to him because sometimes I felt like my attitude got a little out of hand.
“Ya know what its alright, I actually kind of deserved it, I was an asshole” He said making an odd yet sexy motion with his lips and I just giggled as he started laughing.
“Well I guess goodnight” I said smiling and turning a little but I stopped for a minute and then turned and leaned in roughly pressing my lips to his for a good minute biting at the bottom lip for a moment and then grabbed the back of his hair put my lips to his ear.
“You aren’t ready for a girl like me” I whispered and turned and hopped onto the bus and putting my ass to bed… there was only so much a girl could take in a night. The next week for all us was a rest, Mayhem was a big deal and now we got to rest and get back to our normal lives. I was having lunch with Michael and we were just enjoying our time off.
“I have no idea why it is that you order the same thing every single time we come here E” Michael said which was a usual occurrence when we ate here.
“Will just shut up Mike, you ask me that a lot and always get the same answer so drop it” I said to him and he just made a silly face and mocked me causing us both to laugh uncontrollably. The thing with Mike is that he was my bestfriend as well at the girls… but press sees us together and make up stories… its rather annoying cause we both have hashed our feelings out.
“Alright then lets talk about the party from last week at Mayhem, I know that you have always been into Syn” He said jokingly and yet I knew he was really asking.
“Oh you mean the one who kept hitting on me… I mean he has the hotness going for him at
least but I mean come on he probably just loves to sleep around… I don’t wanna get to focused on a man when the band is taking off, I am happy with just working on my career” I said to him and just then both of our phones buzzed and when I looked at mine it was a text from Hannah saying that the band had a meeting with our manager.
“I guess duty calls” I said to him setting some money down.
“Wait do you have a meeting with your manager?” He asked and I nodded.
“Well so do I… guess I will drive you there, I wonder what the heck is going on” He said and
when we arrived I could hear Lil Red down the hall and when we got in there I was taken off guard seeing both bands here.
“What’s going on?” I asked and just then Avenged Sevenfold walked in the room followed by their manager Larry… now we were all in shock. Brian smiled at me and sat down and Michael shoved me between him and Vic and I just listened.
“Well I was tell Jaqueline this but we want you all to do a tour together… we don’t know how long or how many legs the tour could be but we really things fans would love it and it would boost your record sales.” Our manager said.
“Yeah but Mayhem was a big step… we just got done being gone for 5 months” Lil Red stated.
“Well the tour would be a month out but I think that if you girls do this then you will climb the music ladder faster” Larry said pushing into the conversation taking the reins.
“Lil Red we need to consider this… I know that there is the cool down period that you like and that this is a huge deal… but we are only going up… I think that we should do this” I said and I could see Brian smiling at me from the corner of my eye but this was about my career.
“I don’t know E” She said and I think she just needed to sleep on it and more information about where we would go, how long and if we could do this… I could understand.
