*first of all I am so sorry for finishing half way through a sentence, lol, I didn't mean too and I'll carry it straight on*

"Well your hammered Brian, you don't know what your talking about" I sighed laying next to him on top of the sheets of his & moms bed.

"No I do I do, it's so weird y'know"

"Yeah well how about telling me what you want tomorrow kay?" I sighed leaving his side to switch of the lights.

"Fine"

"Night," I smiled. "Today, um, thanks I guess"

When I got home my phone was buzzing off of the table, I picked it up and answered it.

"Hello darling is everything okay?" It was my mom. "I'm on my way home but just stopped off for some food" Parts of me wished mom was having an affair. Don't ask me why, but just going out of town all day for a meeting when all she does is own a salon doesn't sound right to me. There's only so much you can talk about shades of polish and hair colour, surely there's no need to leave town. But then, it's just me overthinking and being a crappy daughter I guess.

"Yeah it's all good. How was the meeting?"

"Well it wasn't really a meeting, we just tested loads of new products and assesed stuff" She yawned sipping her drink. I could hear the straw scrape at the bottom of the plastic cup.

"Oh right"

"I've managed to get you some stuff too, I have some eyeliner, lipstick, y'know stuff like that"

"Thank you mom" Times like these I just flood with guilt. She doesn't deserve this.

"So I'll be home in less than 20 mins I think. What have you and Brian been doing today?"

"Uh.." Maybe if I skipped the first half of today. "Brian took me to work and stayed, and, got a little drunk"

She just laughed and drank more. "Where is he?"

"In bed. I made him coffee he'll be alright"

"Well I gotta go. Give him my love"

"Will do"

"Love you bye"

'Fuck' I cuffed to myself.

"S'matter baby?" I felt arms slide around my shoulder which startled me.

"Brian go away" I sighed brushing him off.

"Loosen up" He grabbed my wrist and pulled me in, pressing his lower body to mine.

"Mom's gonna be back soon, go back to bed"
