Him

It was 6:30PM, Saturday night. Dad was working his night shift tonight, and Rachel couldn't care less if I was in her company or not.

"Okay," I sighed to myself, stood outside of the executive suite which Brian was staying in. "Just talk" I gave the door a light knock and waited for him to answer.

"For the last god damn time, no, I don't want room serv-" After his long huff, his eyes moved from the ground and met my eyes. "Oh, Renee"

"Hi," Everything I'd felt for him rushed back into me, how could I be mad at him. I wanted to crash into him, hold him, kiss him. But let's keep it normal.

"Come in," He said awkwardly.

Brian motioned me over to the bed to sit, whilst he took a seat opposite me. The evening sun shined in his face, but he still looked directly into it. I knew he wasn't okay.



"So, what was it you had to talk about?" I said quietly. "A-about, mom?"

"Yeah, your mom" He coughed. "Her and Johnny."

"Really? How'd you know, I'm sure she wouldn't do anything like that" He was clearly bothered about this, even after everything we did together.

"I heard them talking, when I came from the bathroom. That's when I called you" He sighed. "You're kinda the only one I could talk too"

"What did you hear?"

"Your mom said some shit like, oh he'll never find out about this, he wouldn't expect this from me, then Johnny said, he won't even care," Brian's fist clenched and his jaw started to grind together.

"Oh, god" I was shocked to hear this from mom, even though I'd hoped for it, Brian was really hurt and I hated that.

"That's not really why I came here though," He moved from his chair, and knelt in between my legs. His big tattooed hands gripped my thighs and his eyes watered. "Baby I want you"

"Brian you know it's too late"

"I'm here for you, now, and I'm not leaving this state till your with me" His finger caressed my cheek catching a few tears.

"Just because mom's having an affair doesn't mean you can come after me instead" I shouted. "You chose mom"

"Renee baby,"

"No, Brian" I stood up and shifted past him and headed for the door. "It's too late"

I opened the hotel door, but Brian slammed it in front of my face stopping me from leaving. He spun me round and pressed his waist so close to mine. Finally, he pressed his thin, pink lips onto mine and kissed them with passion.

"I gotta go Brian" Regretfully I pulled away from the loving kiss.

"Why?"

"Rachels expecting me" I lied.

"Not tonight she's not baby," He smiled kissing me again.
