A Narrow Escape
Not the kind of break I was looking for
I really needed this break. I was hungry and wanted a cigarette so fucking bad. As I headed towards the kitchen Jimmy stopped me. "What's up blue eyes?" I said.
"Well I was wondering...was that guy your boyfriend?" he asked.
"FUCK NO!!" I practically screamed. "He's some creep that came in last week and again last night. He heard Janet call my name so that's how he knew it. I would never date a douche nozzle like him."
"Oh ok. Do you need any help handling him? I could go over and tell him not to touch my girlfriend again or I'll break his neck." he said.
"That would be funny to see but it's not necessary blue eyes. If he gets out of line again Brandon or Chris will throw him out. Thanks for the offer though. I need to go clock out for my break now so I'll see you if you're still here when I get back." I said.
"Ok. Enjoy your break." he said.
"Thanks. I will." I said.
He went back and joined his friends. I went into the kitchen and asked Roger to make me some chicken fingers and clocked out. I got a half hour for break so I'd eat them outside while I smoked and checked in on my Mom and kids. Everything was fine at home so I was relaxing and enjoying the warm summer night.
I heard someone approaching but didn't think much of it because people came by there all the time on their way to their car. It was a minute before I realized it was the creep and his friends. I started to walk away but they cornered me. "Get out of my way, I said, people know where I am and if I'm not back they'll come looking for me."
"Oh I don't think so." he said. "You've been teasing me for long enough and now you're going to pay."
I was terrified. He started coming towards me with an evil grin on his face. When he grabbed me and tried to kiss me I kneed him in the balls then punched him in the face as hard as I could. He got up and punched me in the eye then he punched me in the jaw. I staggered backwards and hit my head on the wall. That was the last thing I remembered before hitting the ground.
