Zack’s P.O.V

I had heard from Erin that I was supposed to meet her at the party since she had arrived early to meet up with her father and I when I arrived the building was massive but the party was pretty exclusive and I was nervous since there was the first time I was really going to be in public with Erin. I knew that I was going to be shocked seeing her but I was purely shocked when she greeted me with a kiss on the cheek, she was perfect from her hair, her makeup, her perfect dress and the mask that only made her beautiful eyes pop.

“You look handsome” She said and pulled me over to her father who warmly welcomed me.

“Thank you for inviting me to the party, your daughter is definitely amazing sir” I said to her father and he patted me on the back.

“She got the good looks from her mother but the smile she got from me and please call me Alan, and thank you for being her date for this it was hard enough to get her here short notice” Her father said to me and Erin just rolled her eyes yet smiled with her arm still locked with mine.

“Dad don’t get all mushy on me, we so don’t need to go there” Erin said and we all laughed. Her dad walked off to go talk to a fellow colleague and I stepped in front of Erin and held out my hand.

“Do me the honor of letting me have the first dance of the evening?” I asked her and she just blushed and nodded grabbing my hand and I quickly moved our bodies to the dance floor letting the music take us away, this was my type of thing getting all dressed up and being fancy and having one of the most amazing girl dancing with me.

Tori’s P.O.V

I enlisted Johnny to help me stakeout this like bash that was going on and so far I really didn’t see anything going on outside, there was no sign of Sebastian and to be honest I really just wanted a reason to hang out with Johnny.

“Want a french fry?” He asked and just stared at me with those adorable eyes and just as I took the french fry we both started laughing.

“What are we laughing at?” I asked still trying to get ahold of myself but really we were just caught up in the laughter.

“I don’t know… but I like you Tori, you are a good person and you never get caught up in the drama and shit at school, honestly I just think you are cool” He said and my heart was beating quickly… that was… unexpectedly sweet.

“Hey there’s Sebastian… and I think that is the man that Erin was mentioning on the phone the other night… I wish that I could hear what they are talking about” Johnny said and I looked over at the two men, they were both dressed up and the slender man played with the gloves on his hand and just as he looked around and then over Johnny pulled our heads down.

“That was close I think that we should text Erin and Hannah and then get the fuck outta here” He said and I just took a deep breath feeling my six sense taking over me and I grabbed his arm and held my stomach… this was not good… this was not good at all.

“Tori talk to me what the fuck is going on?” He kept asking me and all I wanted to do was rush in there but if I was right the girls would be worse off if their psychic bestfriend came storming in when they had been warned… I had seen nearly everything that had come… this was no different.

“I need to go home” I said to Johnny and he just sat there with hand on the steering wheel.

“Please just take me home” I said hoping that the girls were gonna be okay and Johnny drove off taking me back to my place…

Unknown’s P.O.V

“You must really want this chick… what’s the deal” I asked Sebastian who was rather tense and that was odd for him because he usually did shit with ease.

“She is what I need, did you get eyes on Erin the other day?” He asked me and I adjusted my black gloves and made sure I was prepared.

“I did and she is stunning” I said and he just scoffed.

“Her mother was a babe too… unfortunately she is becoming a pest which is why I need you to make sure that she doesn’t get in my way, I don’t care what the fuck you have to do with her but she cannot ruin this for me” Sebastian stated and I retied my mask and smiled.

“Well I am definitely going to keep her around” I said since he can’t be the only one with a pet on his arm.

“You are just gonna end up doing the same thing you do with the other women” He said and I just smirked… he was right but she was different.

“Yes you are right I will but she isn’t the same… things happen when I want them too
just like they do for you so do your business and I shall do mine” I said to him and he just put his hand on my shoulder.

“See that is why I call you because you are a man of business.. happy hunting” He said and then did his disappearing act. I looked around making sure that everything was clear… you can’t be too careful these days and when everything was quiet I made my way inside the building ready to put my plans in place.

Erin’s P.O.V

Hannah was off with Jimmy my guess is that she was exploring the garden that was around here, she was having a blast tonight and actually I was too it was a nice change of pace from what has been happening. Zack stopped dancing as his phone buzzed loudly in his jacket pocket and looked at me apologetically.

“Go ahead and take it I am gonna go and get something to drink” I said to Zack and he smiled and took the call outside and I walked into the other room grabbing something to drink and as I waited for the waiter to bring me the glass I felt as if someone was staring at me but when I looked around there was no one.

“Thank you” I said to the waiter and when I came back into the ballroom Zack came in looking really upset.

“So don’t hate me… but I really have to go” He said and I was confused and I was sad and it just sucked because Hannah was with Jimmy and they wanted to be alone and I was just alone and my dad had run off for the night.

“What happened?” I asked and he just took a shallow breath and kissed my cheek while holding my hand and slowly let go as he turned on his heel before nearly running out of the room. I looked around for a moment and then walked towards the door figuring just leaving would be better but when I grabbed my jacket a hand reached out in front of me and I turned slightly and gazed up at the man… the same one I saw from a distance… only the mask gave him an eerie yet powerful look. I opened my mouth to decline but he stopped me.

“Don’t speak just take my hand and grant me a dance” He said and I just looked into his eyes.. which were hard to read but there was just something about him that I couldn’t explain and so I hesitantly took his hand and with ease he spun me onto the dance floor dipping me and slowly pulled me up not taking his eyes from mine.

“No this is wrong” I said pulling away but he held my hand tightly.

“Walk away and that is strike one” He said and I just pulled my hand away and he just sat there for a moment analyzing my facial expression and he sighed heavily and I was confused yet I felt myself quickly tremble and suddenly a man to my left started spitting up his drink followed by some blood and I could only watch for a moment before the man moved to my side and put his lip to my ear.

“I know all about you Erin, and you will know more about me… to start my name is Christopher.... now beautiful… scream for me” He said and just like it was reactionary I screamed and then the whole room followed and just as people tended to the nearly lifeless man I looked around and Christopher was gone but near the garden exit I saw Hannah fall with tears in her eyes and her skirt of her dress was ripped apart. I ran over and grabbed her exiting with the mass group and drove her to get stitched up… only because I was afraid of what we were now… completely terrified.

“Who is he?” Hannah asked on our way back to her house and I just looked at her for a moment before focusing on the road again.

“You are out of it we can talk about this tomorrow Hannah” I said to her and she pushed
her fist onto my dashboard.

“GOD DAMNIT ERIN WHO IS HE?” She screamed at me and I just gripped the steering wheel tightly.

“All I got was a name… and a strike apparently… his name is Christopher” I said softly and she just rubbed her head before popping another painkiller.

“Well stay the fuck away from him okay… just please don’t ask why just fucking do it” She said and I was confused and worried and this was not okay… and her father was gonna be pissed although it was weird that they both disappeared.

“Alright since I told you who the fuck the man was you are gonna tell me the fucking truth… did Sebastian fucking do this to you?? Is he the reason why Jimmy isn’t talking to any of the fucking guys or me?” I asked trying to look for my own answers and she just sat there in silence and she was ready to get out when I pulled up to her place but I just stared at her hoping that she wouldn’t open up to me.

“I need to go inside Erin can you just back off and let me do what I need to do?” She asked and snapped at me and I knew then at this point in time she really wasn’t ready to talk so I had taken her inside and her father quickly grabbed her and helped her to her room leaving me behind. I got in my car and drove home to an empty house and no sign that my father was back yet and I quickly started stripping off my shoes and the mask and unpinning my hair and when I was down to just my underwear I sat on the bed silently… just keeping deep into my own thoughts about how tonight ended. I checked my phone noticing a single text from Zack.

I’m sorry that I had to leave you alone… I wanted to tell you tonight… that I am in love with you. Goodnight –Zack I read it and smiled and then lied down on top of my blankets staring at the ceiling and slowly drifted off to sleep… and an unusual ‘dream’ took over my mind.

*I was going on a run like I had done for a long time over the weekend and I was sweaty and hot and I could definitely feel the burn but I knew that this wasn’t reality when the streets were empty.. no people no cars, just empty buildings.

“What the hell” I said to myself and when I looked down I was wearing normal clothes and my long hair was down and I felt like I was on an acid trip or something.

“Hello?” I yelled down the street and looked at every other intersection and couldn’t hear anything but when I narrowed my sights in the distances there was a black figure coming down the street and while they were still far down the road I could make out the voice.

“You shouldn’t have done that” The voice said and it was familiar… the tone… the smooth deep voice and I just backed up looking around me and the moment I looked forward again and took another step back I hit a wall and my hands rested on it stopping me from hitting it full force.

“That isn’t the answer” He said and I saw him as he came closer… Christopher…

“You and Sebastian have a real way of winning girls over” I said sarcastically to him and he just raised his eyebrows a little and leaned in closer and I just wanted to slap him but my hands wouldn’t come off the wall.

“You aren’t gonna see what hit you…. You are just gonna feel it… feel me” He said and wrapped his hand around my arm for a moment and then ran it up my shoulder letting his finger trace my collarbone and he took the other hand and covered my mouth. His hand traced back down to my arm and slid down to my wrist and squeezed it tightly and it burned… immensely and I screamed into his hand* And just like that my eyes opened up and I didn’t scream I just knocked the contents of my nightstand off… I had to talk to Hannah… this had to stop.
