You'll learn your lesson, but first you'll fall..

I was about to ring Matt to see where he was, when he walked back in to my room, only looking slightly less angry.

'Are you okay?' he said.

I nodded. 'Are you?'

He nodded. 'I'm okay ish now.'

'What happened?' I asked.

Matt went to speak, but I stopped him, getting out of my bed and gesturing him to go into the bathroom. I really didn't know how Amelia was finding out all she was, so we had to be careful.
I closed the door behind me.

'Well,' Matt sighed, 'a couple of years ago, we had to deal with a similiar situation, except it was Brian, with a groupie. So, we sorted it, and we'll sort this little problem, too, between all of us.'

'Why does that make you feel okay?'

'Because I rang Brian. He's cancelling the rest of the tour on behalf of all of us and booking us flights back home ASAP.' Matt said calmly.

I almost choked on my words. 'W - What?! You got the rest of the guys involved?! And the tour's cancelled?! What?! Matt, you idiot! I didn't want you to be involved, let alone the whole fucking family!' I whispered viciously.

'Eleanor, it's not just your life she's threatening, it's our child, and it's also the family, so yes, they are going to be involved, because they have a right to know! Also, Brian, Zack, Johnny and I have dealt with this before, and we know what we're doing. We have some people we need to meet with back in OC, so that's why we're going back. Fuck the tour, El, I'm not touring when your life is in danger, let alone all of our lives. We don't know how Amelia is getting all this information, but we'll find out when we get back, okay?' Matt looked breathless from whispering.

'I have a feeling this is going to end really bad-' Just as I finished my sentence, Matt walked towards me, and leaned down, his lips crashing onto mine. The kiss didn't start gently, but roughly, Matt in control, his tongue moving slowly but dominantly. I wrapped my arms around him as he started walking, pushing me into the bathroom counter, pinning me against it with his hips, holding my waist, making me moan slightly into the kiss.
He then leaned down to hook his hands in at the backs of my knees, lifting me up onto the counter, deepening the kiss again.
I felt his hand run up my stomach under my top, then onto my bra, squeezing my breast tightly. As he began to kiss my neck, I heard the door of my room open. I jumped off the counter straight away, pushing Matt back, terrified.

Matt sighed, looking annoyed that he was interrupted. 'It's only Dan. He's staying tonight.'

'Hello?' Dan called out, sounding on guard.

'In here, Dan.' Matt called out, and I could hear Dan chuckling.

'Am I interrupting something?'

'No.' Matt said, looking guilty. 'Come in.'

Dan opened the door to the bathroom, and came in.
He put his hand out to grab Matt's, before hugging him.
He then turned to me, eyes softening.
'You okay, El?' he said, giving me a tight hug, almost taking my breath.

I shrugged. 'I don't even know, Dan.'

'I think El doubts our skills and sources.' Matt sighed.

Dan turned to me, grabbing my two hands with his. 'Listen to me, El. This is going to get sorted; we've dealt with a situation similiar to this before, and none of us got hurt in any way. We sorted it out ourselves, without getting any of the authorities involved, and we're going to do the same thing again, okay?' Dan said, which somehow comforted me.

I nodded. 'Okay. Thanks, Dan.'

Dan nodded. 'Wait, why the fuck are you guys in the bathroom? What's even going on?'
I explained exactly what had happened, and Dan's face paled.
He thought to himself for a few minutes.
'Okay.' He said, after a few minutes had passed. 'Not to scare you guys, but, um, I think we're dealing with an upgrade of the last Code Red.'
'What does that mean?' I said, confused.
'Upgrades are always better, can do more things than before.. basically, Amelia seems more malevolent, evil, ruthless.. But nonetheless, we're able for her.' Dan shrugged, smirking. 'Bet I'm glad I brought this with me, anyway.' Dan reached down the back of his jeans and pulled out a gun.

I looked to Matt who was laughing. 'Oh, El. This is the first time you've seen this side of Abell.'
I nodded numbly, staring at the weapon in Dan's hand. 'Don't worry, El. It's all for our own safety.'
I nodded. 'I know, this all just makes me nervous. Can we not get the authorities involved?'
Dan shook his head straight away. 'Not a chance. They'll just tell us there's nothing they can do to help because we don't have solid proof, blah blah blah. Basically, they won't get working, unlike us.'
'So, what, does everyone have like, positions or something?' I chuckled.
'We actually do.' Matt chuckled. 'Dan, Zacky and me are the henchmen, Johnny, Brian and.. Jimmy were... the technical ones, they were good with computers and phones and stuff. Arin is now our newest recruit, he's gonna be the computer wiz kid.'
'So the girls won't be involved?' I said, feeling relieved.
'As much as I would love for them to be disinvolved, they already know something's up..' Dan said, sighing.
