You'll learn your lesson, but first you'll fall..

I drove home, shaking like a leaf. I was pregnant! The idea of being pregnant made me ecstatic but nervous. What if something happened to.. I stopped myself. Thinking about that made me angry and sad so I stopped there. But how could I forget Matt came in me on our wedding night? I was almost glad it happened by accident, if we had have done it on purpose I would have been extremely nervous. I glanced down to my stomach, which didn't look half as big as it did when small bump was 6 weeks.. Ugh.
I pulled up in the driveway, got out of the car, and went into the house. Matt was sitting on the laptop.
'Hey babe. What's going on?' Matt said, but started coming towards me when he saw the smile on my face.

'Matty, I'm pregnant.' I squealed. Matt's face fell, he looked totally shocked.
'Wait, w - what?' He shook his head.
'I'm pregnant.' I grinned widely. He took a few moments, before his face lit up and he had a huge grin on his face. He grabbed me and spun me around the room.
'Put me down! Matty!' I squealed at him. When he eventually put me down, he kissed me gently.
'Is that what was wrong with you?' he grinned. I nodded.
'Oh, my God! We have a Sanders baby on the way!' Matt kept kissing me over and over again.
'I know.' I beamed. 'But I'm nervous..'
'Why?' Matt said worriedly.
'Well, last time..'
Matt cut me off. 'No. That is not going to happen, I promise. I won't let it.' he said firmly, holding both my hands in his and looking me right in the eye.
'I love you, Matty.' I said to him.
'I love you too, El. And you, little Sanders.' Matt rubbed my stomach gently, smiling softly.

'I think we should wait a while until we tell everyone.' I said to Matt. He nodded in agreement.
'Good idea. Just to give us time to get used to the idea.' Matt said. 'So, I got some news today.'
I looked at him. 'Okay..?'
'So our manager has arranged for the band to do another tour of the album, called the Shepherd of Fire tour, and it starts in 2 weeks, lasting for 5 months...' Matt said, trailing off.
'Oh, that sounds great, babe!' I grinned.
'Thing is, it's across Europe again, so I think all the flying and the jet lag...wouldn't be good for you or baby Sanders..' Matt said sympathetically.

My heart kind of sank. 'Oh. I thought it was just across America.'
'Unfortunately not. I would love nothing more than for you to come, but I don't want either of you being in bad health, baby..'
'No, I understand.' I moved over on the couch to cuddle into Matt and kiss him. 'I'm not blaming you, it's just bad timing, really.'
'It sure is.' He sighed, as he put his tattooed, muscular arms around me.
'So, when do you leave?' I said.
'October 10th until March 10th. Then I get to come home to you.' Matt kissed me again.
'You won't be home for Christmas.' I pouted.
'I'm sorry.' Matt frowned. 'I really wish it wasn't like this, but it's just the nature of the job.'
I nodded. 'Don't be sorry, babe. It's not your fault.' I kissed him again. 'Where is the tour going to be?'
'Um, Germany, France, Spain, England, Ireland, Poland, and Lithuania. It has been well demanded for a while now. Tickets are sold out for most shows already.'
'It's cos your an amazing band, silly.' I hugged Matt tightly. 5 months without him? I was going to miss him a lot.
