Coincidence (A Synacky)

*Vengeance P.O.V.*

I looked over at Brian. He looked completely exhausted. We've both been here for almost two days. And haven't gotten a wink of sleep.
Matt looked better, but the doctors still haven't been able to get anything to counteract the poison. He could be here forever, for all we know.
I yawned. "Bri...I'm gonna go home and get us a few things, okay?"
He looked over at me, sighed, and nodded.
I got up, stretching a bit. We both needed food. And fresh clothes. And a bath.
And sleep.
I started walking to the door.
"Be safe."
I looked back at Brian. He was looking at me with a painfully concerned expression.
"I will."
*Time Lapse*
Dropping my keys onto the table, I sank into a couch and just sat.
Home. Finally.
I looked over at the clock. Noon.
I sighed, getting up and grabbing a beer from the refrigerator.
It's never too early to drink.
I ended up dozing off halfway through the can...
...Only to be awaken shortly by the sound of the doorbell.
I slowly got up, and after looking through the peephole, opened the door.
"Zachary Baker?"
"Yup."
"Sign here please."
I signed on the clipboard and took the package being held out to me, slamming the door.
"Who sent me a fucking-"
Oh.
That's right.
I guess I forgot. Stupid me.
I should've refused the damn thing.
I made my way over to the table, ripping open the package and letting its contents fall onto the table.
A vial of clear-blue liquid.
A tiny bag with a pill in it.
And a gun. Loaded.
The phone rang.
