Right Where I Belong

Elise POV

“Alright, the ceremony will begin at any second and I have to take my place.” I said and hugged Tyler and Collin a final time.
“Alright, we will be cheering you on, Elli.”
“Have you seen Jimmy around? He told me he would come, but I haven’t seen him? He will be here soon, or?”
“Yes, he will be here… of course he will come.” Tyler reassured me.
“ELISE? BABE?” Jimmy was standing behind a group of people and ran towards me.
He grabbed my waist hurled me against his body and kissed my lips, god it felt so good to feel his lips on mine, his body so close to mine.
“I was running around for almost 30 minutes now, I was everywhere but couldn’t find you!”
“We were at the back I showed Collin and Tyler around the campus. But you can let me down now.”
“Shit, I wanted to be here early for you and then I couldn’t find you. And Elise, babe you look so beautiful wow.. you are getting prettier each day…” Jimmy said and looked me up and down.
“Thank you.”

“Ladies and Gentleman, Students and Family members, please take your seats. The ceremony for the Graduation is about to begin.”
“Alright, Jimmy.. now you really have to let me go.” I said and smiled.
“Yeah, okay fine. I will stay in the back but you will hear me scream.” Jimmy said on a laugh and I had to smile as well.
At least 3 people were here and that meant a lot to me…

Jimmy’s POV

I walked back and saw my best friends waiting as a group gathered behind the other people who were trying to find their places.
“Did you find Elise?” Brian asked.
“Yeah and how did it go with Sam?” I asked him but he just grinned at me and looked at Jess and Kim who grinned as well.
I frowned but before I could ask any further again a voice called to find our places and be quiet.

So we all sat down in the back but before that I looked at Elise a final time she sat on the corner of the row and I didn’t lie to her she really looked more beautiful each day.
God, just look at her…



“We now present you the final class of the Wallington school for girls. We are proud to announce each girl by name and deliver their final Diploma.” The voice said again and then the old principal walked on stage, oh she would be more than happy to see me here with my friends…
She would hate us… I had to smile at that thought… I really have to make her see me and Elise together…

After a short introduction finally the old lady began to read down the names of each girl and they stood up and moved forward, walked up to the stage and received their Diploma and then they walked down and were welcomed by their friends and family.
Wow, and there were a lot of people…
“Yo, guys… We gotta move forward when it’s Elise turn, we gotta cheer for her when she is up there.
Look at all those people..”
“She will be one of the last, they go in alphabetical order as I noticed.” Zack said and nodded to the stage.
“Yeah… so we just get to the front, walk past all of them. Bu I would say from the other side, so Elise won’t see us right away…” Brian said.
“Okay, just wanted to make sure you are on board.”
“Sure” Matt and Jess nodded and the others also agreed.
“Perfect.” I couldn‘t wait to see Elise astonished face when she would see us all there cheering her on.
God, finally I could take her home with me tonight and I didn’t have to say goodbye to her again…

Elise POV

Only two girl’s before me then it was my turn. Wow, it was really loud when the others were now cheering and happy yelling to be final rid of the school, and honestly I could understand them now. Before… yeah well before Jimmy, I never knew what I missed and how the college really restricted my live to a minimum.

But now with him and my friends it was suddenly as if the life and everything was still ahead of me and I couldn’t wait after I received my diploma to run into Jimmy’s open arms, if he would be brave enough to come near the principal again, I didn’t know but I hoped for it.
“And the last student of the class is Mrs. Elise Warren. Please come to the stage Mrs. Warren, you will not only receive your fabulous diploma you are also honored as the best student of the whole age class. Please give an applause for Mrs. Warren.”
I had to smile at that and heard a loud applause, wow… I hadn’t expected anyone to clap for me most of the people were always jealous of my grades but they seemed to clap and yell for me.
I had to smile even brighter when I heard Jimmy yell, “MY GIRL, SHE IS MINE!! YEEEAAAHH!!”
I looked around and tried to see him but I couldn’t make out where he was.
But I wasn’t the only one trying to look who yelled so loudly nearly the whole audience was turning their heads around.
But I had to concentrate to receive my Diploma now and then get the hell out of here.
I shook the hand of Mrs. Hallsworth and she handed me my diploma she said some more nice words about how I should concentrate on the important things in live, my career and shouldn’t let me bring of my way and I just tried to smile nicely at her and nod.
When she was finally done she clapped herself again and said, “Mrs. Warren, thank you. Another applause please.”

And this time the yelling and applause was even louder but it came from one corner, the side of the stage where I had to walk down from.
I saw not only Jimmy, my brother and Collin there yelling my name and clapping but also all my other friends or Jimmy and my friends now.
Kim and Jess with Zacky and Matt, Johnny and Lace and Brian the whole group was there and making a party there right on the spot.
They were louder than all the other people and family groups which had welcomed the other students and I had tears in my eyes, I couldn’t believe that Jimmy made them come or that they even wanted to come… for me.
I walked towards them but before I reached the stairs Jimmy came running up to me and gathered me in his arms and kissed me in front of all these people.
“Mrs. Warren? Could you please leave the stage without causing a scene.” My ex-principal said through the mic and the others just began to cheer and scream louder.

Finally Jimmy let go of me and we walked together to the group of others.
“Elise, congratulation.”
“My little sister, the class best, huh?” Tyler said and hugged me.
“Let me have my share of hugs.” Brian moved forward and hugged me as all the others.
Wow so that’s what family felt like… these friends were my family now.
“So enough of this, I need a beer now.” Johnny said and hugged Lacey to his side.
“Yes, me too.” Matt nodded.
“Alright. Then we meet again at my house… Everything is prepared and the party can start as soon as we are there.” Brian replied and we turned around about to walk to the parking lot to get away from here.
I had most of my belongings already in Tyler’s car, the rest we would get next week.
“Elise, stop… Elise?” I heard Samantha call.
I turned around and saw her walking towards me.
“Wait a second.” She said when she stood in front of me.
“What do you want?” I asked her with a frown.
“I.. I just wanted to apologize. I am sorry for what I told you and that I tried to manipulate you. That’s it, I just wanted to let you know that I really am sorry.”
“Oh wow. Hm.. alright. Thank you, I appreciate it.”
“Okay, then I wish you a nice party and life…” Samantha said and with that she turned around and disappeared into the crowd of people.
Now, I really just wanted to leave for my party and maybe I would even try a beer…
