Daddy's Little Girl

"Kiera! Kiera! Wake Up! It's Christmas!!" Braydyn yelled, shaking me awake.

"What?" I mumbled, rolling back over in my bed, snuggling deeper into the blankets.

"I said it's Christmas! Come on! Jimmy said we can open presents now if I woke everyone up."

"Alright, Bray, I'll be upstairs in a few minutes," I smiled.

"Yes!"

"Did you wake everyone else up yet?"

"Yeah, but Dad wont get up. He said he's too tired so we could open without him."

"Oh."

"Yeah, I wish he would come watch us open the presents he got us, I mean he could go back to bed if he was tired.."

"I know, I'll see if I can coax him out of the bed, K?"

"Alright! I'll go tell Jimmy you're awake! By the way, Zack made breakfast, and Johnny made his famous hot chocolate."

"Awesome, give me a minute to put some clothes on and I'll be right up."

"Okay!" He said closing the door behind him.

I slowly dragged myself out of bed, and over to my suitcase. I pulled out a pair of neon orange tights, some very ripped skinny jeans, a neon orange tank top and black and orange Pantera shirt that had the sides cut out of it. I then pulled my grey Ug boots out from under my bed, taking the socks out of them and putting them on my feet. I got completely dressed, applied eyeliner and mascara, and briefly ran a straightener through my hair before pulling it up into a pony tail, leaving my bangs down.

I grabbed my phone and put it in my pocket and headed upstairs. I stuck my head into the kitchen to see if Dad was there. He wasn't.

So I decided to go find him.

I walked quickly up the stairs wanting to get this over with as quickly as possible. When I reached his bedroom door, just as I was turning the knob, I head him grunt. Not a sexual kind of grunt, but an irritated one.

"Val, you are the most important girl in my life, there's absolutely no one that means more to me than you do, so please stop."

"I love you, Matty."

"I love you more."

Seriously?

That's it. I'm totally done with this fucking vacation. Fuck him. Fuck her. And FUCK MY LIFE.

I stormed back downstairs, ignoring Brian completely when he tried to give me a plate of food. I went all the way back to my room and started packing all of my stuff. I then texted Jimmy and told him to send Braydyn down to me. He replied with:

Ok, is something wrong? Do you need me to kick some ass?

No, Jimmy, I just need to talk to Bray for a sec.

Promise?

Yep.

He's on his way.

K. Thx.

Np.

Braydyn knocked on the door, letting him in I closed and locked the door behind him.

"Yeah, Sis?"

"I need to talk to you about something.."

"Okay..?"

"Well, I've decided to move in with Mom, and I wanted to know if you want to come with me.."

"Move in with mom? But why?"

"Because me and Dad aren't getting along anymore, and I'm just tired of fighting with him."

"Val is going to move in with him." He stated.

"Yeah, probably so, and I also don't want to live with her."

"I'm gonna be a big brother!"

"Yep, are you excited?"

"Kinda, but I don't really like Val."

"Why?" I asked.

"Because Daddy spends more time with her than he does with us."

"I know, Bray," I whispered, pulling him in for a hug.

"I wanna come too," he said after a few minutes of silence.

"Okay. Go get your stuff together and bring it in here. Were gonna leave tonight."

"How?"

"Well, I'm going to take Dad's car of course. Were gonna go home and pack all our stuff up, and take my car to mom's."

"What if she doesn't want us?"

"Sweetie, I already called her, she said to just let her know when we were headed her way."

"Alright."

"Now, go and get packed."

With that he stood up and headed to go get his things together.

After he was finished he brought his stuff into my room like I told him to. We then went upstairs together and sat down with everyone, who appeared to be waiting on me and Braydyn to get upstairs.

Everyone was gathered around the living room, which was back to normal, might I add, ready to open presents.

Zacky, who was playing Santa, had on the worn out Santa hat, and he was going around passing out all the presents.

"Now. Everyone knows the rules. You can't open your present until everyone has one. Then we all open them together. Understand.?"

Everyone gave some form of understanding, and Zack continued to pass presents out.

It was then that I noticed that Dad was staring at me again.

I decided it was best to just ignore him, and pretend like his presence wasn't affecting me.

Even though it was.

"Alright. Go!"

Everyone began tearing into the carefully wrapped paper, sounds of excitement and approval erupting all around the room. I looked at the name tag on the small box in my hands, TO: KIERA, FROM: BRIAN :) This should be interesting.

It didn't take me long to figure out what is was. Concert tickets.

To a Metallica concert this coming March.

ERMEHGERD.

I jumped up and darted across the room squealing and tackled Brian to the ground.

"Thankyouthankyouthankyou!!" I shouted, kissing his face over and over.

He just burst into laughter, and hugged me.

"Which one did you open?"

"The concert tickets!"

"Which ones?"

"Whaddaya mean which ones? There's more?!"

"No," he said quickly.

I got off of Brian and went back to my spot beside Jimmy and Braydyn, prepared for the next round of gifts.

Zack passed out the second round of presents, and this time I got the one from Jimmy.

I opened it quickly, excited to see what he got me. The entire time Jimmy was leaned over my shoulder watching me open it, he looked more excited for me to open it than I did.

2 Season passes to Disney Land, 500 dollars in cash, and a picture of me and him when I was really, really little.

I almost cried looking at it. I leaned over and hugged him, placing a kiss on his cheek.

"Thanks, Jimmy."

"Aww, don't cry."

"I love you."

"I love you, too, my lil' trooper duck," he said, rustling my hair.

This went on for about an hour. I ended up getting a ton of Vengeance University stuff from Zacky, because he knows how much I love VU. Along with that he got me a zombie Hello Kitty phone case, and a Metallica hoodie. I also got a combo gift from Brian. In a small box was 2 plane tickets to Finland, and two concert tickets to a HIM concert this June. There was also a note in the box that said there was a hotel reserved for a 3 night stay. Johnny got me some new plugs that look like radiation symbols and an 500 dollar giftcard to Hot Topic. Mammaw and Pappaw got me a giftcard for Rue 21, and Brian and Suzy got me a giftcard for Spencers. Val got me a pair of black knee high converse shoes that have a detachable heel. Braydyn drew me a picture of me and him playing video games, and I got him Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2.

Finally there was Dad's. He got me a signed permission slip for a tattoo, an autographed picture of Metallica, Phil Anselmo, and Vinnie Paul. A Korn hoodie, Atreyu jacket, Slipknot snow boots, a pair of plaid pajama bottoms, neon colored socks, both knee high and ankle high. Finger nail polish, perfume, makeup, A new comforter set, and lastly there was an envelope that said 'Read Alone.'

I hugged everyone, including Dad and Val, and started to help pick up all of the trash. I heard Jimmy mention the rest of the family was supposed to be here sometime today, and that aunt Amy is giving me a hundred dollars for Christmas.

I took all of my new stuff down stairs to my room and decided to take a nap, completely forgetting about the envelope that Dad gave me, and drifted off into a deep sleep.
