They Say That ALL Beauty Must Die.

*Matt's P.O.V*

The jam session at school was fucken awesome. I thought Cherish wouldn't know how to drum like that! I was surprised at her awesome drumming and that look on her face when I started to sing, I guess she was surprised too.

I was in my garage with Zacky, Brian and Johnny waiting for Jimmy to get here.
I wasn't really in the mood for jamming, but I had nothing else to do so I just decided to do it.
About 15 minutes passed by and Brian started to tune out his guitar and same with Zacky.
As soon as they finished tuning them and making sure they played the notes perfectly, Jimmy showed up.. with Cherish!
Jimmy gave all of us a hug and Cherish just stood there with her left hand to her face.
I went up to her and gave her a little hug and told her,
"There's nothing to be afraid of."
"Yeah, grab a drink, pull up a chair and just chill out." Brian said to her.
She smiled and sat down on a lawn chair.
Jimmy had that look of concern towards Cherish, I knew how she was in front of new people so I went playfully hit Jimmy's arm,
"Loosen up bro, she'll be fine!"
He nodded his head and started to play a song I wrote called "Danger Line."

*Cherish's P.O.V*

Jimmy & I had a good laugh at what I did at the store. I was starting to get comfortable with him, even though I knew him for like.. a day.
I didn't care though. He was a really nice guy. We were walking down the street on our way to Matt's house. We talked about his little "band" and how they wrote a few songs and put them up on Youtube. I was surprised because he is an amazing drummer.
He asked me if I would want to play a song at Matt's. I hesitated and asked him if the guys would mind. He said,
"No, not at all. The guys like you!"
Happiness shot through my body and I smiled a little. We reached Matt's house and walked up towards the garage.
Brian & Zacky were tuning their guitars, Johnny was eating chips sitting on a little kiddy chair & Matt sat there with a look of surprise on his face. I thought he didn't want me here so I put my hand up to my face.
Matt came up to me and gave me a little hug, "There's nothing to be afraid of."
I sighed out a breath of relief. I thought he didn't want me here. PHEW.
"Yeah, grab a drink, pull up a chair and just chill out." Brian said to me, I smiled at them, but didn't say anything and just sat on a lawn chair.
I started to shake because they kept shooting me looks of concern and sympathy.
I started to panic. I tried to stop myself but nothing was working. I don't think the guys noticed because none of them looked at me besides for Jimmy. He gave me a look of concern and almost got up his chair but Matt interrupted him. I didn't wanna bug him so I opened my orange juice and took a big shot of it. I nodded lightly at Jimmy, and Jimmy nodded to Matt.

They started to play a song, and towards the end of the song made me cry. The lyrics & the way Matt sung it just got to me.

"I never meant to leave this world alone, I never meant to hurt the ones who cared.
And all this time I thought we've just grow old.. you know.. No one said it's fair.
Tell my baby girl that it's alright, I've sung my last song today.
Remind the Lord to leave his light on.. for me.. I'm free."

I thought I could stop crying and not let the guys notice but Brian's solo made it worse to keep in the lump in my throat.
I cried when they finished it. That was my first time hearing that song and it reminded me so much of my mom for some reason.
I quickly wiped away the tears and looked up at them. Matt looked at me and said,
"Aww.. did we make you cry? Oh, I'm sorry."
"No no, it's alright.. I'm such a softy."
Matt smiled and gave me a can of coke. I opened it and took a shot.
I noticed that Zacky was looking at me and tried to keep in his laughter. I asked him,
"What?"
"Nothing.. you look like a panda."
I completely forgot about the makeup and I hid my face in my hands and chuckled. I was so embarrassed. Zacky laughed for a bit but Jimmy interrupted him and said,
"A very gorgeous panda!"
I smiled lightly and looked up at him. He kneeled down to my level and got my hair out of my face. He smiled and looked into my eyes. He smiled again and started to wipe off my smudged mascara.


*Jimmy's P.O.V*

Even with mascara dripping down her face, she still looked beautiful.
I saw her from my drum kit and slowly walked up to her.
Zacky said something to her, but I heard "panda".
I'm assuming he called her a panda. She hid her face in her hands and chuckled. Zacky laughed lightly and I went walking up to them and said,
"A very gorgeous panda!"
Oh my. That small smile on her face made me fall head over heels. It's so weird because I never felt this way about a girl before. Not even with Leana.
I kneeled down to her level and got her hair out of her face. I swear, her beautiful brown eyes were gonna kill me sooner or later.
I smiled at her and started to wipe the make up off her face.
She still had her eyeliner on but her mascara was completely washed off.
We looked at each other with smiles on our faces for about a minute until Matt said,
"Come on, let's play another song and we could call it a day!"
I got up and asked him,
"Maybe Cherish could play this one?"
Matt looked at us with a somewhat "What-the fuck" look, he smiled and said,
"I'm just kidding, of course she can!"
With that being said, Cherish got off the lawn chair and went to go sit on the drummer chair.
She grabbed my drumsticks and waited for the guys to make a request.
They all had that look of surprise on their faces, they asked her if she could play "One" by Metallica. She had that challenging look on her face and she nodded to Brian and waited for him to begin.

They played the whole song and wow! Cherish really knew how to drum! When the song started to speed up, I could see her get lost into the beat.
It was amazing. I never seen a girl drum like that before.
After the song the song was over, I applauded them and the guys started to applaud Cherish.
She got up from the chair and took a bow.

Brian, Zacky and Johnny started to pack up their instruments and getting ready to leave. I just leave my drum kit here. Matt doesn't mind and neither do his parents.
We were all about to walk out of the garage, but Matt's mother walked into the garage with a pack of sodas and a big plate of sandwiches.
We all grabbed one and began to eat. His mother spoke,
"Oh.. I didn't know there was someone else here. Hold on sweetheart, I'll be right back."
She left and Cherish was trying to stop here but failed.
I handed her a soda and she took it.
