Cherish's P.O.V

I opened my eyes, but immediately closed them again because the sun was shining right through my curtains. It burned my eyes for some unknown reason. So I sat up on my bed, yawned and just stared out of my window. I was about to go and get ready for school, but then I remembered that it was the weekend. Haha, oh Cherish..
I really didn't have anything planned for today.. but one thing for sure is that I didn't want to stay in bed. So I got off my bed and made my way to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. My house isn't too big and it isn't too small. My parents & I have our own bathrooms and I think that's pretty cool. I started to wash my face until I felt more awake. Amazing. Just as soon as I was about to brush my teeth, my dad barged into my room and he said to me "Cherish! Breakfast is ready!" I giggled and told that I would be down in a minute. As he left the room, I began to think about how much a weirdo my mom and dad are. They can say the weirdest things and sometimes do the weirdest things!
*FLASHBACK*
"Dad! Stop it!"
"What? it's not everyday you see your father doing the shimmy!"
I couldn't help but laugh at my dad, it was funny but embarrassing because we were in public! As I was about to get out of my laughing fit, my mom decides to join my dad! It was so funny, I almost got a six pack just laughing at these two weirdos.
*END OF FLASHBACK*

I smiled at the memory and laughed a little. I finish brushing my teeth and I put my hair in a messy bun. I made my way down stairs and I could just smell the sweet smell of coffee and food being cooked. My stomach growled really loudly. I walked into the kitchen and I saw my mother standing by the oven. I smiled and said good morning to her, she returned the greeting with a smile and a blow kiss. Ugh.. I love my mom so much. My mom handed me a plate with 2 eggs, LOTS of bacon and 2 pieces of toast. I thanked her and I started to eat. I was about halfway done my breakfast when my dad walked in and said "good morrow". I giggled a little bit and returned the greeting. Mom began to eat as well. As we were finishing up, my mother asks me,
"My dear, would you like to go shopping with me today? We need more things for the house."
I smiled and said yes. She told me we would be leaving in 2 hours and that gives me plenty of time to get ready. Not that I really need the time though. I walked upstairs to my room and just sat there on my bed until it was time to go.
About an hour passed by and I was really bored of just sitting there in my room so I got off my ass and my way to my closet. I opened it and chose my outfit. I don't like dressing the way everybody else does these days. Such as snapbacks, beanies, leggings, combat boots, etc. So I just took a pair of my deep blue skinny jeans, a white tank top and an over-sized Metallica t-shirt. I put it on and looked at myself in the mirror and just thought to myself "meh.. not bad". I put on a really thin line of eyeliner and a sparkly eyeshadow. I'm never seen with this look. My bestfriend Jade doesn't recognize me without it.
I got bored ONCE AGAIN. I went downstairs and asked my mom if we could leave early and just take our time shopping.. I thought she would jump up and we'd get going, but instead she said "Wait, my show is on". I looked at the TV and I saw that she was watching The Vampire Diaries. I laughed to myself and just went down to my basement to play with my drumkit. Yes.. I play drums. I'm not too good, but I'm not too bad. I sit the bass drum and then I started to hit the cymbals. I played for a long time.. I don't know how long it was, but my mom stopped me and said
"We're leaving now, get ready." I got up off my chair and ran upstairs to my room to grab my phone, earphones & shoes. I don't wear combat boots.. but I wear converse. I felt comfortable so I went downstairs and to my surprise, my mom was waiting in the car. I smiled and yelled out to my dad,
"See you later!"
