Third Person POV*

The demon had consumed Jacqueline. She could feel her hands tremble as the mass amount of power and rage coursed through her veins. She let out a growl and punched the nearest tree, sending the massive trunk to the floor with a booming crash. She turned and kicked another sending it back as well. Jacqueline grinned evilly and attacked another. She could hear Amanda screaming her name as she and the guys closed in on her. Jacqueline felt a pang of fear mixed with anger in her heart. She tried to call out to her best friend but her inner demon was far too powerful. Jacqueline felt her true self being pushed further down into her soul as her satanic side surfaced. She soon was blinded by rage and ran deeper into the woods snarling, growling, and sending down many trees behind her. She hadn't a clue where she was heading but kept on running until she reached her unknown destination.

Brian's POV*

We ran as fast as we could into the woods but stopped in our tracks when a a demonic growl erupted from deep in the woods.

"JACQUELINE!" Amanda screeched. She took of into the woods as fast as she could while we tried to keep up. That wasn't a problem for Zack though.

"Shit! Look out!" We heard Zack yell at Amanda.

We ran faster towards them but heard a thunderous crack. I looked to the right and holy shit.

"Jesus christ..." I heard Johnny mutter from behind me.

There was a trail of trees laying on the floor. And let me tell you, these are redwood trees, so they're fucking huge. Another crack boomed throughout the forest but it was followed by a high-pitched scream. It was so loud and earsplitting that I fell to my knees and clapped my hands over my ears, screaming myself. All the guys stared at me and Jimmy ran to my side.

"Bri, what's wrong?" He asked.

"Y-you guys didn't hear that?"

He shook his head slowly. "Hear what?"

I looked up at him. "Jacqueline was screaming. I swear it was her."

I heard hear scream again and I winced and cried out in pain. I shut my eyes and dropped my head.

"Brian...help me..." I heard Jacqueline whisper to me.

I snap my head up and looked around frantically. The guys all gawked at me.

"Please..." She begged breathlessly.

I got up and ran as fast as I could. I had no idea where I was going but soon I saw Jacqueline standing with her back towards me.

"Jacqueline? Thank god you're okay." I walked slowly towards her.

She chuckled darkly and turned to face me. The first thing I noticed was her face. Her beautiful blue eyes were pitch black. Her face was pale and her pink lips were twisted into a crooked smile. Jacqueline stalked over to me and grabbed my chin tightly.

"Silly Brian..." Her voice was deep and demonic. You couldn't even hear her voice anymore. "You've always been so gullible."

"Get out of her body Lucifer." I snapped.

Jacqueline wrapped her arms around my torso and licked her lips seductively. She ran her hands through my hair and giggled.

"Or what? You can't do anything without hurting Jacqueline. And we all know you don't want to hurt this."

Her eyes flickered from black to her amazing blue eyes. Jacqueline blinked rapidly and looked around. Her eyes landed on me and she looked into my eyes.

"B-brian? I'm scared..." She said with shaky voice.

"It's gonna be okay. Just try to fight it. Fight the demon." I rubbed her upper arms and pulled her closer to me.

She nodded and bit her lip. I felt her arms shake and she shut her eyes tightly. Jacqueline broke from my embrace and turned her back towards me. She let out a sob and dropped to her knees.

"It hurts! I c-can't do it Brian..." Jacqueline mumbled before getting on all fours and coughing.

I ran to her side and lifted her chin up to see her eyes black as the night. "She's weak. It'll be easy to kill her."

"Stop! Jacqueline, I know you can hear me!" I screamed at her.

"She can't Brian. Just drop it and let me take her."

"NO! Jacqueline this isn't you! Fight it! Fight Mikey!" I grabbed her arms.

"Brian?" She croaked before shaking her head. "Stop it!"

"Jacqueline, fight Mikey!"

"STOP NOW."

I held her chin tightly. "I know you can do it."

Jacqueline shot up and screamed. She put her hand on a tree and cried out in pain. I walked over to her and spun her around. Without a second to waste, I smashed my lips against hers and grabbed her waist. I pulled her up against my body
and she tensed up then relaxed. I smiled a little and pulled away from her lips. Jacqueline opened her eyes and they were back to the beautiful blue color I loved so much. She wrapped her arms around my torso and hugged me tightly, to which I immediately held her close to me.

"Thank god you're okay. " I mumbled into the top of her head.

"JACQUELINE." Amanda screamed at us. "GET THE FUCK OVER HERE DUMBASS."

Jacqueline turned her heel and sprinted to Amanda and jumped on her making them both fall back.

"I swear if you run off into the woods again I'll bring a shotgun and call you Lassie." Amanda joked from under her best friend.

I watched as the two of them joked around when Zack elbowed my side. "I saw you two kissing."

I just ignored him and kept watching Jacqueline wrestle with Amanda. I walked over to them and pulled Jacqueline off of the floor.

"Alright Hulk Hogan, I think we should get John Cena home."

They both laughed then looked at each other, looked at me and the guys, and smirked.

"LAST ONE BACK HAS TO SLEEP ON THE FLOOR TONIGHT." Jacqueline screamed.

"NO VAMPIRE POWERS EITHER." Amanda added on before they both took off.

We all ran as fast as we could through the woods until we reached Jacqueline's house, me and Jacqueline tying for last place.

"You two have to sleep on the floor!" Jimmy squeaked as he laid upside on the couch.

"It's fine by me. As long as I have to sleep with Jacqueline." I looked over to Jacqueline and her face was bright red.

"Ooooooh! Brian has a crush!" Jimmy sang playfully. I shook my head and laughed at him.

Jacqueline's POV*

I walked off into my room and grabbed pajamas for me and Amanda. After I got dressed, I walked out to the living room and threw Amanda's change of clothes in her face. I ran off giggling and bumped into Brian.

"Hey Jacqueline." There's the butterflies again. Something about Brian just makes me feel so....weird. He makes me so nervous yet so relaxed at the same time. I get butterflies in my stomach every time we talk. Why does the slightest interaction with Brian set my insides on fire? That fucker.

"Hey Brian." I smiles shyly at him. No Jacqueline, don't be shy! "You wanna uh, you wanna help me get blankets and shit for the guys?"

"Sure" He nodded.

We both walked over to my storage closet and pulled out all of the blankets. Brian went to give everyone a blanket while I grabbed pillows and a bat. Sleeping in the same house as Amanda, sometimes you need a weapon. I walked back out and everyone was settled. Amanda had put in some crappy horror movie and everyone laughing at it. I passed out the pillows and when I walked past Brian he pulled me down to the floor next to him.

"What are you doing?" I giggled as Brian wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close to him.

"You're sleeping with me tonight." He said. Brian pulled the blanket over us and nuzzled his face into my neck. I wrapped my arms around his torso and smiled. We stayed like this until I drifted off into some well needed sleep.
