It was the wee hours of the morning and Lee and I were sitting around the TV just relaxing after a long day with the guys at the Carnival and running around with Skylar where ever he pulled me to, just completely exhausted me but I enjoyed every minute of it. Jimmy was being a nut as always and why I had decided to not come back to California until now is beyond my class of thinking. How could I be so stupid to fall for someone's vindictive words just to suck me into a trap? I'll never know the aswer to that but I am glad to be back with the people I love and no one or nothing will be taking me away from here again.

"Did you have a good time with the guys?" I asked Lee as she sipped on her beer.

"Oh it was the best time I've had in a very long time. That little Sky is such a cutie pie."

"Oh I know! I swear one day if I find the right man, I hope to have a boy just like Matt and Val's." I said smiling as I sat my beer down on the coffee table.

"You seem to have taken a shine to Brian tonight."

"I have no idea what you're talking about." I said looking away and back towards the TV.

"Don't play dumb with me Roxy Ann Burns."

"Ouch you used my full name! I must be in trouble." I said laughing but she kept her face as serious as serious could get.

"Roxy, I know you like Brian so why don't you just admit it."

"Alright so I like him...but I know he doesn't like me." I said shaking my head.

"How do you that?"

"I just know Lee...No man wants a girl that has such a fucked up life as mine. I mean look at it this way...My mother is dead and my father's dead now because he tried to kill me...Now after I moved to Arizona to go to school, I met Roe and he started treating me no better than my dad used too. Who the hell is going to want someone like me with the past I have?" I explained fiddling with my hands as I looked down at them.

"Roxy, you have to quit being so hard on yourself! Roe was a mistake that anyone could have made. He put on a pretty good act and anyone could get sucked into his spell. As for your father, if he was here today I would beat the living shit out of him for everything he did to you."

"Thanks Lee. You're the best friend I've ever had." I said smiling and giving her a quick hug.

"I could ask Brian how he feels about you if you'd like."

"Don't use my name! He'll think something!" I said getting nervious as she picked up her phone.

"Roxy, Just leave it to me okay." I nodded and watched as she scrolled through her contacts before sending a quick text to Brian.

I scrolled through my huge list of contacts looking for Brian's name and I finally found it. Why the hell I put him under Spikey, I'll never know. Anyways, I typed out a short little hello and waited for him to respond.

~Hey there Lee! I see you and Roxy got home alright.~ Syn

~Yeah and we had a great time tonight with all of you guys and Sky is so adorable ^_^~

~Yes he is...I do need to ask you something though.~ Syn

~Sure. You can ask anything Brian.~

~Where did Roxy get those bruises on her chest?~ Syn

~Bri! Were you looking at Roxy's chest!?~

~I can't help it that I'm a guy...So answer the question.~ Syn

~I don't think it's my place to tell. You should discuss that with Rox. She might tell you but I don't really have a clue if she will.~

~I think I will the next time I see her. I don't want to lose her.~ Syn

~I don't know what I would do without Roxy either Brian. She's the only real friend I've ever had.~

~I'm not talking about friendship Lee...Can you keep a secret?~ Syn

~I think I already know what's coming.~

~What do you mean?~ Syn

~The real reason I texted you was to ask you how you felt towards Roxy...cuz she really likes you and I mean that like more than just a simple friendship.~

~I like her a lot more than just friends too. I was thinking about asking her to go out to lunch with me tomorrow.~ Syn

~Just text her or even call her and she what she says.~

~I think I will. Thanks Lee.~ Syn

~No problem Brian.~

~I've got to get up early tomorrow so I'll call her when I'm on a break from recording.~ Syn

~You have a goodnight.~

I closed my phone and looked over at Roxy as she slept soundly. I can't see how she goes to sleep so fast but we've been drinking pretty good for the past 3 hours we've been home and I don't want to disturb her from her sleep. I pulled the blanket from the back of the couch and gently placed it over her. I grabbed my phone from the table and started up the stairs. I was about to open the door to her bedroom but I heard a crashing sound. I ran down the stairs and seen Roxy up and holding a brick in her hand.

"What the hell?" I asked and she turned around and I seen the note in her hand. I took it from her and started reading it.

The game is called 3 strikes and you're out. This is the first warning.

I checked the bottom of the page but no one signed it. I mean who would after throwing something through the window? I quickly dug out my phone and called 911 and asked for police to come over because of what just happened. In minutes they were here taking statements from both of us and assessing the damage the brick made to the window and also dusting the brick and not for finger prints other than mine and Roxy's but according to them there wasn't any. Soon the cops were done with their picture and statement taking and they left the house.

I helped Roxy get some plastic from the basement of her house and nail it to the window frame. After that was finished and the glass was cleaned up, I helped Roxy up to bed and made sure she would be safe before going into her room and laying under her covers. There's only one person who could have done something like this...Roe.
