Love Notes

I sort of hated the fact that she wanted to be out there in the crowd, but her friends were gonna be there, and I knew how that was. I watched her walk away from me, standing backstage, as she went to find her place in the crowd. My heart was breaking, I didn't wanna be away from her. If I knew I could I would have taken her out with me. I loved her. I reallyloved her and my heart was letting me know for sure.

"3 Minutes, guys." Jason yelled.

I cringed at the sound of that. I wanted to be holding her, not doing a show. I missed her already, and not having her there beside me, made me feel like half of me was missing. I was way in over my head with her. Completely in love.

We stood by the back curtain waiting for our call. I couldn't stop thinking about her. The wait seemed like forever, when it was really only a minute or so. The lights went low and I heard the screams from the crowd, as the adrenaline rush set in.

When the curtain fell I found myself not paying attention to what I was doing, but looking to see where she was in the crowd. There she was right up front on my side. She was so fucking beautiful, and it made me happy to know that she was there all for me. The day before, I couldn't have said that, but now I was sure. I knew that she was, just as into me, as I was her.

I smiled as I looked down at her. I noticed her lips mouth 'I Love You' and I felt the knot in my stomach. Girls call that butterflies, but that doesn't sound too good coming from a hardcore rockers mouth.

We wailed the first chord to Bat Country, and the crowd went into a frenzy. We played through a few songs then took a short break for Brian's solo. I looked out into the crowd before walking off stage. She wasn't standing there anymore. I was scared. I thought something might have happened to her.

I walked backstage and stood behind the curtain, wiping the seat from my face with a towel. I felt a hand brush across my back. I turned to find Zay standing behind me.

"What are you doing back here?"

She looked at me. "Jason let me back." she smiled as she gave me a peck on the lips, and pulled the curtain around the both of us, pulling me in for another. I wrapped my arms around her waist a she wrapped hers around my neck. I wanted her so bad, but I knew I had to finish the show. I grinned against her lips.

"What are you doing?"

She pulled away looking at me. "Making out with my sexy boyfriend."

Wow. Did she just say that? That was a ton of bricks, but I liked it. I smiled and leaned down kissing her again, running my tongue across her bottom lip, begging for an entrance. She granted me access. I ran my hands around to her lower back, pulling her to me. She giggled against my lips. I pulled away.

"What are you laughing at?"

"Getting a little happy there, babe?" she said looking down.

Oh shit! That's embarrassing. I couldn't help it though. She was perfect, sexy and everything I wanted,

"I'm sorry." I smiled.

"Don't worry about it. It's kinda hot."She smiled kissing me again.

It wasn't too much longer and Brian had finished his solo. I looked down at her. She was so beautiful.

"You better not go anywhere." I said, smiling.

"I won't as long as you play me some Second Heartbeat." she smirked.

I smiled. "Coming right up."

I leaned down and kissed her again before pulling the curtain from around us. She slapped my ass, as I walked back toward the stage. I couldn't help but turn back and do the same to her.

"No." she said putting her hands on my chest to stop me.

"You better be lucky I have to go back out there." I kidded. "I'll get you later."

"Ok. Now go." she said pushing me back toward the stage.

I leaned down pecking her on the lips one more time, before turning and walking through the curtains. I couldn't wait to get the show over with I just wanted to be back there with her, in her arms. Damn! I really had it bad for this girl.

The thoughts of Zay took up the time, and the show was finally over. I ran back to the back.

"Where's Zay?" I asked Jason.

He pointed to a door in the corridor. I walked in to find her laying on the couch. She was so cute laying there, looking so tired. I walked over and sat down as she raised up.

"So much for watching a concert." I laughed.

"I know. I wasted my money." she said.

"How's that?" i smirked. "You're here with me."

She smiled. "Yeah." I leaned into kiss her.

"Baker!" I heard Larry come through the door.

Oh shit! I knew this was going to happen. Now was the time,but why? Why did he have to pick now to jump my case about it? I just hoped that he wouldn't say anything mean to Zay. She had been through enough.

"Is this her?" he glared.

"Yeah."

"So this is the little whore that you put your career on hold for." he stated.

That hit me in a very soft spot. I immediately stood up and swung my fist, connecting with Larry's face.

"She's not a whore, you son of a bitch." I yelled, as I looked at him on the floor with a shocked look on his face.

"Come on, Zay." I said taking her by the hand leading her to the door. "You can have this fucking band. I quit.!" I slammed the door behind us.

We got out front of the venue. When she stopped me.

"Zacky, Stop.' she said tugging my hand. I stopped and turned to her. She could tell that I was angry. "You can't just leave the band. If it's that much trouble then I'll remove myself from the situation."

'No!" I yelled. "I love you, and they're just going to have to learn to deal with that." I pulled her into a hug. I was covered in sweat, but didn't give a fuck at that point, and I really don't think she did either.

"I'm not going anywhere." I heard her mumble into my chest.

I sighed. "I can't get back on that bus tonight. Not with them."

She pulled away and looked up at me. "What are you going to do? You have to stay somewhere."

"I'll get a hotel. You can drop me off and go on home."

"I'm not going home. I wanna stay with you." she stated.

She wanted to spend the night with me. I know she was worried about me with all that she had just seen happen. I know that she just wanted to make sure I was ok. Besides, Sex was the farthest thing from my mind at that point.

"Ok." I smiled.

"Ok." she said as she leaned up and kissed me on the cheek. 'Let's go."

We got into her car and headed for the hotel. Once we were there I got the room and we grabbed my bag and got onto the elevator. The first thing I wanted was to order room service and take a shower, then relax. I was so glad she was there with me and that I didn't have to go through this alone.

I reached over and grabbed her hand as we walked down the hall to the room. She looked over at me and smiled.

"You sure you're gonna be ok staying the night here?" I asked. her.

"I'll call my parents and tell em that I'm staying at a friends." she replied smiling.

We reached the room and I slid the key card through the chamber unlocking the door. I hurriedly grabbed clothes from my bag and headed toward the bathroom.

"Here. Call and order us some food while I'm in here." I tossed her the room manual, that bore the menu.

"What do you want?" she asked.

"I don't know anything I'm starving."

"Ok. Don't take too long in there." she said smiling.

"I won't." I replied.

I stood there looking at her, She was so amazing. I knew the possibilities of what could happen tonight, but I didn't want to rush her into anything. The everything was busted up by the thought of what happened with Larry. The feelings left me and all of a sudden I began to feel sick. I smirked at her looking over the menu, before walking into the bathroom, closing the door behind me.
