Jacqueline's POV*

I sighed. My heart was racing and my knees were weak. I was sitting in my car a block away from Danny's house. Today was the day I would stand up to him and make him pay for every single thing he did. I sat for what seemed like ages in silence before I got out of my car and walked to his house. If anything were to go wrong, Erin knows were I am. I slowly opened the door and walked in.

I took a deep breath. "DANIEL MOTHERFUCKING HANKINS. GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE."

"What the fuck?" A deep voice said from upstairs. "Jacqueline, what the fuck are you doing?!"

"I'm fucking tired of you pushing me around like a rag doll. We broke up 8 months ago so you have no right to call me your own. I came to get payback for the 2 years of utter shit you caused!" I yelled.

"Oh really now? You're a fucking shrimp. You can't do shit." He sneered.

I slowly walked up to him and pecked his cheek. Confusion crossed his face and before he could speak my fist collided with his jaw sending him to the floor.

"Fucking cunt." He groaned lifting himself up. He wrapped his hands around my neck and squeezed harder and harder. I kicked and punched him repeatedly until my foot smashed into his crotch. "Fuck!"

I dropped to the floor and ran to the kitchen. I grabbed a plate and threw it at his head but he caught it somehow and threw it right back. I didn't have as much luck considering it hit me square in the face. I yelped in pain and hit the floor with a thud. Danny chuckled darkly and leaned over me.

"No where to run." He said grabbing my face.

I grabbed a piece of broken glass from the plate and cut his cheek with it. He flung himself back and clutched his face. I got up and ran upstairs and locked myself in the bathroom. With shaky hands, I pulled out my phone and dialed Jimmy's number.

"OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR." Danny screamed banging on the door.

Please pick up. Please please plea- "Hey MoMo! What's up?" Jimmy's voice said from the other end.

"I'm at Danny's you need to get down here now he's-" I was interrupted by the door being kicked down.

"COME HERE BITCH." Danny shouted grabbing me by my hair. I let out a blood-curdling scream hoping Jimmy would get his ass down here.

"SHUT UP!" Danny kicked me hard in the ribs and smacked me across the face. I tried kicking him but he grabbed my leg and twisted it.

"LET GO OF ME!"

"I said shut up!" He twisted my leg even further, if he did anymore my leg would snap. "You need to be punished..."

He punched me in the face then ripped off my shirt. I squirmed under his death grip but he grabbed me by my neck and forced me down.

"Please... Stop..." He just laughed and went to unbutton my shorts. All I could do was cry. He started pulling my shorts down but was thrown of off me.

"You're a dead man Hankins." Jimmy said grabbing the front collar of Danny's shirt.

"Stay out of this Sullivan. She's just a worthless skank." Danny hissed.

Jimmy punched him in the nose. "No she's not. MoMo is a beautiful, smart, and lively girl. So take a good look at her angelic face cuz it's the last tine you'll ever see her."

I pulled my shorts up and pushed myself in the corner. I was in tears as I watched Jimmy beat the shit out of Danny. I pushed my head down and sobbed silently. Soon, Danny's pleads for Jimmy to stop ended and he was crying. I felt large hands grab my arms gently and I screamed and slid out of his grasp.

"Jacqueline! It's just me... it's over now." Jimmy said looking into my eyes. "Here put this on."

He handed me his shirt and helped me up. I slipped it on and looked at Danny. He was on the floor covered in blood, crying out in pain. Jimmy put his hand on the small of my back and I jumped a little. He led us down the stairs and outside to his car.

"Take me to Erin." I spoke in a soft voice. Jimmy nodded and helped me into the passenger seat and shut the door. He slid into his seat and pulled off of the lawn and started to head to Erin's. I was silently crying the whole ride. The second we got to Erin's house I jumped out of the car and ran in. Brian and Johnny were there too but I didn't give a shit.

"Mo? Holy shit!" She said as I jumped into her embrace. I broke out in tears and sobbed into her neck.

"What the fuck happened?" I heard Brian ask but I stayed in Erin's arms sobbing.

"I was at our secret spot with Matt when she called me. She was crying and said she was at Danny's and that I needed to get down there. Then I heard him yell something and her scream. When I got to his house, there was blood in the kitchen and he was upstairs. I went to where they were and she was crying with her shirt off and he was pulling of her shorts. So I beat the cunt to a pulp." Jimmy answered in a pissed tone.

Hearing what Jimmy saw and heard made me cry more violently. "It's over sweetie. He can't get you anymore." Erin said trying to soothe me.

"He'll find me." I croaked out. She pulled away from me and I fell to the floor. "He'll find me."

"No he won't." Jimmy said crouching in front of me. "I'll kill him first."

"He'll find me." I repeated. That was the only thing I could say. "He'll fi-"

I was cut off by Jimmy. Well his lips to be exact. My heart fluttered and my stomach twisted itself in knots. He pulled away to quick for my liking but we were still in front of my brother.

"You're safe now, I promise." He said.

I smiled weakly at him then looked over to my brother. His face was etched with pain. I got up and walked over to him. He pulled me into a hug and sighed.

"How long did Danny do this?" He asked.

"Two years." I replied.

"But you only dated for 15 months."

"I know." I felt him tense up.

"Why didn't you say anything?" He asked pulling away from me and rubbing my back.

"I couldn't. He swore that he'd kill me if I told anyone. That's why Erin couldn't tell you." I stated. "She saw the black eye he gave me."

"Wait, so that wasn't from running into a door?"

I laughed quietly and shook my head. "No Bri it wasn't."

"Well we should get you home. I'll explain it to dad and Suzy. We'll leave Kenna out of this." He said.

"Alright... but can Jimbo stay with me?" I asked stopping and glancing over to Jimmy.

Brian furrowed his brow and looked at Jimmy then at me. "...fine..."

Jimmy walked over to me and grabbed my hand. We walked out the door.

After I told dad and Suzy I went to talk to McKenna. It was a little difficult to explain to her since she was younger but I got the point across. I was laying down on my bed staring at the ceiling when Jimmy plopped down next to me.

"Somebody's deep in thought." He sang and I sighed.

"It was a crazy day... I need sleep." I pulled myself out of bed and stripped down to socks, panties, and Jimmy's shirt.

"Well I talked to your dad and you're staying home tomorrow." Jimmy said as I climbed back in bed with him.

"Wonderful. I get to stay home alone."

"Don't worry. We're all skipping tomorrow and we're going to the beach." He said.

"Alright."

He pulled me close to him and I rested my head on his chest. I stayed up thinking about how my life would turn out without Danny. Soon, I drifted off into some well-needed sleep.
