After our mini practice the music teacher walks into the room with a shit eatin' grin on her face, she states "guys I got you a gig to play and this man will see if you got a chance to make it big." And in walks IVAN MOODY from five finger death punch.. Our jaws dropped and Britt tackles him to the ground screeching "oh my fucking god! Holy shit! it's Ivan! I freaking love you" while Ivan was laughing he managed to spit out we'd be playing at a bar and grill.. In the middle of all this me, Will and Aly were discussing the song to play and Jesse was doing a rhythm on his drums that we all knew... So Far Away by Avenged Sevenfold-our idols- by this point everyone chimed in and Britt came over to sing.. She sang it so beautiful and full of emotion, we all played it so well for our friend who'd pasted away that past weekend. This friend was close to all of us in some way and he was the one who connected all of us. Not noticing after the song finished Ivan cleared his throat and told us" no need to play at the bar and grill I'm going to get you tickets to meet those men who originally wrote that song and I will be your agent" All of our jaws dropped and it was then I realized that we were going to meet A7X, the men who inspired all of us to play; for me it would be Johnny Christ, Aly looks up to Zacky, Jesse loves the fast beat of the great Rev, Will is always trying to nail Synyster fucking Gates solos, and Britt is screaming her hardest to tune with the sexy M.Shadows.
