You know i make you wanna scream..

home sweet home..

Shortly after Zacky left, a doctor and his team came in.
'Hello, Eleanor.' he said professionally. 'I'm Doctor Quinn, and this is my team.' he pointed to around him where there was about 4 people writing down things and holding charts. 'Now, how are you feeling?'
'I feel much better than yesterday. The aches aren't half as bad.'
He nodded. 'And what have you been given for pain?'
'Solpadeine three times daily.' I said.
'And would you mind if I just have a look at you?' he asked. I nodded and stood up slowly.
Dr. Quinn listened to my heart and my lungs, then looked at my eyes, my ears and my throat. He then asked me to walk from the door to the bed a few times. I then got back in the bed.
'Okay, well the good news is I think you're good to go home.' Dr Quinn smiled.

'Really?' I beamed.
'Yes. But you're going to have to take care of yourself for a good week or two. Your body has gone through a strenuous amount, that being the reason we put you into a medically induced coma.' he said firmly.
I nodded. 'Of course. I don't really feel able to do any intense work at the moment anyways.' Lies, I was going to have Isabelle dead within a week.

He nodded, filled in my discharge papers and a prescription, and left with his team. Matt then came in.
'Hey baby.' I beamed at him. He looked much better, shaven and clean looking, wearing a grey tracksuit (which hung off his hips perfectly) and an Ed Hardy hoodie.
'Hey babe. Not that I mind, but why so happy?' he said before kissing me briefly.
Without speaking, I held up my discharge papers and prescription.
He grinned. 'Great.' he hugged me tightly. He then glanced at the empty bowl. 'Zacky was in with you?'
'Yeah,' I said, 'He left just before Dr Quinn came in. He was telling me what happened in the first few hours of me being here.' My stomach flipped, reminding me of Aimee Tegan.
'Oh.' Matt sounded slightly disappointed. 'Anyway, let's get you out of here.'

Matt helped me get my stuff together, and then helped me get dressed. I was walking with a bit of a limp, to compensate for the pain in my back, but it wasn't too bad.
I linked Matt as he helped me out of the hospital and into the car. We then went back to Matt's.
I walked myself into Matt's (which was against his will, even though I was fine) and sat down on the couch. When Matt brought my bags upstairs, he came down and sat on the couch beside me. I moved onto his lap.
'The doctor told you to mind yourself, you're doing the opposite, El.' he sighed.
'That's cos you're minding me too much.' I said, kissing him on the nose.
'That's what I'm here for.' he grinned, tickling me gently, which made me laugh for the first time in about a week.

'How are you feeling?' he said, when he stopped tickling me.
'Not that sore, actually.' I sighed.
'No, I mean mentally. About, um, Aimee Tegan..' he trailed off, looking into the distance.
'Oh.' I sighed. 'I'm still coming to terms with it. It's devastating stuff, and it's hard to believe, really. I honestly think I cried myself dry when I got out of the coma, though. It's probably good that I did. How are you?'
Matt sighed. 'I just feel to blame. What if I had have answered the door? I could have saved both of you.'
'Matt,' I said firmly. 'You are not to blame. I know Isabelle would have gotten the both of us at some stage anyway, the woman is a psychopath, for Christ's sake!'
Matt sighed deeply. 'Suppose. I keep thinking, what if I hadn't have gotten to the door in time, and she whacked you over the head with the crowbar? I could have lost both of you.' I could see Matt's eyes become glassy.
I hugged him tightly. 'But you didn't.' I kissed him gently.
The doorbell interrupted us kissing.

Matt put me off his lap and onto the couch and he jumped up, looking around. He walked towards the front door, and opened it slightly. I saw his body actually relax as I heard an extremely familiar voice. 'Matt, let me in, I'm not Isabelle.' Oh, Kaycee.
Her and Alana ran in and basically launched themselves at me, hugging me.
'You two are gonna have her back in the hospital, the way you're manhandling her.' Matt rolled his eyes, laughing.
'I'm sure she's well used to being manhandled.' Alana glanced at him. He blushed slightly and suddenly had something to do in the kitchen.
'How do you feel?' Kaycee grinned.
'Not too bad, actually.' I smiled, nodding. 'I hate the thought of having to rest up for the next week, though.'
'Williams - I mean Sanders,' she said, glancing at my ring, 'You have to do it. You'll be right back to square one if you try to run around straight away, okay?'
I rolled my eyes. 'I know, I know, Matt's already lectured me.'
