You know i make you wanna scream..

I felt dizzy as I took in what was going on. There, in the sitting room, stood Matt, Amy, Mitch, Kaycee, Alana, Brian, Michelle, Zacky, Johnny, Lacey, Arin, Kimberly, Dan, my mom, Jason and Matt Berry, Mudrock and Fred.

I stood opened mouthed. 'W - what?'
Matt walked towards me. 'It's a surprise engagement party, babe.' he hugged me tightly as I
started to cry. Everyone started to 'aww' and make their way towards Matt and me.
'If you're gonna cry at the sight of us, we'll all just go home.' Dan said jokingly. I laughed and wiped away my tears.
'I'm just really surprised, but a happy surprised.' I smiled.

'To the drinks table!' Jason laughed, pointing to a table which had a huge amount of alcohol on it. My stomach clenched angrily. 'I'll be back in a second.' I said quickly to Lacey and Michelle, before running out of the room, and into the bathroom, where I was violently ill.
I sat on my hands and knees in front of the toilet, not sure whether I would be sick again.
Once I felt okay, I got up, cleaned myself up, and walked out of the bathroom, where I ran right into Matt.

'Are you okay?' he frowned at me, seeing my red, puffy eyes. 'You don't seem happy.'
'Come up to the room with me for a minute.' I said, grabbing his hand.
'As much as I'd love that right now, there's too many people here.' Matt grinned.
'No, I have something to tell you, and it's important.' Without giving him a chance to reply, I led him up to his bedroom, and sat down on the bed, gesturing for him to sit down.
'If you don't want to marry me, just tell me.' he said sadly, staring at me.
I shook my head, and without speaking, I reached into my bag, which was still on my shoulder, pulled out the pregnancy test (which I had cleaned of urine) and handed it to him. He stared at it for a moment, before looking at me. 'You're pregnant?' he said, mouth gaping.

I nodded, before bursting into tears, sobbing. He grabbed me and hugged me.
'It's okay babe. Stop crying. It's not a bad thing.' he said, sounding extremely unsure. 'But how?You said the thing in your arm prevents it.'
I sighed. 'I forgot that after 4 years you have to get it replaced, otherwise it might not work. It's been 5 years since I had it done.'
Matt's face fell even further. 'How do you know it's not Zacky's?'
I smiled for the first time in what felt like forever. 'Because I've had my period since I was with him, silly.'
'Well, if it is mine, then I think it's a brilliant thing.' Matt held my hands and stared into my eyes. 'And I know it's scary, but I am going to support you through this no matter what, okay?'
I smiled. 'Thank you. I just can't imagine us as parents.'
'I can't either. But we'll get through it together.' he kissed me gently before standing up.
'Come on. We have guests to entertain. Are you gonna tell your mom?'
I nodded slowly. 'I better. She'll be ecstatic.' He laughed. 'Come on then.' I wiped away my tears, before standing up, grabbing Matt's hand and walking back downstairs with him.

I walked into the sitting room, where everyone was. They all cheered. 'Quickie?' Dan said quietly to me, nudging me jokingly. I rolled my eyes at him and swatted him. 'Shut up, Abell.'
'What do you want to drink, Williams? Or should I say Sanders?' he said.
'I prefer Sanders.' My stomach churned angrily again. 'No thanks, I'm taking antibiotics and they won't really agree with the drink.' I lied quickly.
I made my way over to my mom, and hugged her. As I did, I felt a strong movement in my stomach. I winced slightly.
'Did I hurt you?' she said worryingly.
I shook my head. 'I'm pregnant.' I blurted out quietly. She stared at me the same way Matt did, before bursting into tears. 'Oh my God, Eleanor. I'm so happy for you and Matt!' she cried, hugging me again.
'How long are you gone?'
I thought back for a moment. How long was I gone?
'About 2 weeks, I think.' I said, my voice trembling.
'I'm so happy for you! I'm finally going to be a grandmother!' she grinned widely.
'That was the first thing I thought of when I found out. I knew you'd be happy.' I said.
'May I ask, was it planned?' she said, her voice becoming low when someone walked past.
I sighed. 'No. I had the bar implant, but I forgot that after 4 years you're meant to have it replaced, and it puts you at risk of becoming pregnant. I've had it 5 years.'
'Could have been worse; you could have gotten pregnant by Zacky!' she laughed.
'That's true.' I said, shivering at the thought of having Zacky's child.




~~MATT'S POV~~
I stood talking to Brian and Zack, drinking beer, but while I was talking about something else completely, all I could think about was the fact Eleanor was pregnant. It was an extremely exciting prospect - the thought of having a child with the woman I loved more than anyone in the world, but it was also a scary thought, becoming a father. I needed to tell someone before I cracked up.

'Matt? Matt?' I heard Brian say, interrupting my thinking.
'Yeah dude?' I said.
'Are you okay? You've been totally zoned out of it for the past hour.'
'I don't know. Can I talk to the both of you somewhere private?' I said, looking at a concerned looking Zack and Brian.
'Sure...let's go into the kitchen.' Zack said, and we walked into the kitchen. Yeah, Zack and Eleanor had history, but those two guys were my best friends, as were Johnny, Arin and the Rev, but Johnny was drunk already, Arin was nowhere to be seen, and the Rev..
'What is it?' Brian said, as we stood in the kitchen, where there was total silence.
'Eleanor's pregnant.' I blurted out, and their faces lit up.
'Congratulations, man!' Brian said, hugging me.

'I'm really happy for you guys!' Zacky exclaimed, grinning.
'Thanks, guys. And I'm really happy too, but honestly, I'm a bit anxious about the idea of being a father. I just really didn't expect it to happen either.'
'I can imagine how scary it must be. But you have to man up. Imagine how El's feeling, she's carrying another person inside her, ya know? You have to be there for her.'

I nodded, taking in what Brian said. He was right. I needed to think of Eleanor. 'You're right. Thanks, I needed to hear that.' Brian nodded, and Zacky turned to me. 'Just make sure the media don't find out she's pregnant, or the fans. The engagement is the talk of the deathbat community, if it gets out about the pregnancy, you'll be mobbed online and every time you step out side the door, even worse than before.' It was true, every time I went out, someone stopped me and asked me something about the engagement. 'What about Val?' 'Where is the wedding reception?' 'Was the ring expensive?' People had no tact sometimes.
I sighed. 'Thanks again, guys, you've been great. Please don't tell anyone about this, okay?'
They both nodded, and we walked back into the sitting room. I felt relieved and okay about it.
