Choices

Brian drove me to one of the furniture stores nearby. It just so happened to be one of those lease to own furniture stores. I was a bit iffy on that but it didn't hurt to look. He pulled into a parking spot and we got out and headed inside. The first thing that caught my eye when we walked in was this light brown sectional. It was perfect so I asked the salesman closest to me about how to even do one of these leasing things.

He told me that all I had to do was put down a down-payment and then it'd be delivered to my place of choice. I only had to put down $100 so I continued to see what else I might want in my apartment. They had a lot to choose from. I wandered my way to the bedroom section. There was this queen bed set calling my name so I sat on it and tried to imaine how it would be to have this in my room everyday. I laid down and tried to get a feel for it. Not long after I laid down, I could hear someone snickering. When I opened my eyes, it was Brian.

"What's so funny huh?" I asked.

"What do you mean?" I questioned.

"You look like a kid in a toy store. You're happy. I like that." He laughed.

"Well... thank you." I blushed.

He walked over to me and gave me a kiss on the forehead. It made me blush more.

"You're welcome." He said.

I grabbed a hold of Brian's hand and pulled him onto the bed next to me. He took his plac and laid down. I rolled over on my side to face him. His eyes were pulling me in, so I went in to kiss him. Our lips moved in sync and after a while, I forgot that I was even here at a store. That was until someone had cleared their throat very loudly at the end of the bed.

"I'd like to add this to my list." I smiled at the salesman.

Me and Brian got off the bed and followed the salesman to the counter. He pulled out all of these papers I needed to fill out and sign. Ugh, more paperwork. I filled everything accordingly but the when it came down to the delivery date, I wasn't sure what to put yet.

"Just go ahead and put it for Friday I'll go over there and make sure it gets delivered and set up while you're at work." Brian said to me.

"You're the best." I said and was drawn to his lips again.

I finished filling out the paperwork and put down my payments so my delivery would be secured.

"Thank you for your business today." The sales guy said to me before we left.

Since I got the basic needs, I wasn't sure what to go do now. I looked at Brian to see if maybe he had an idea or something. He gave me a crooked smile kinda revealing he wasn't sure what to go do either.

"How bout you hang out with me at the motel and what not? We'll order in and watch a couple movies... How does that sound?" I asked him.

A part of me was hoping he'd say for us to go to his house but he jumped onto my idea so quickly. Maybe his perfectness ended when he went home. I sighed quietly and hoped I was wrong. Maybe he just isn't ready for me to see his personal life yet. He drove us to the motel I was staying at and parked. Like a gentleman he waited for me to lead him to my room.

I pulled out my key and opened the door. As soon as I did he came up from behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.
