Romy’s POV

I was sitting together with Val and Ana at a table with more than 10 cakes in front of us. And we had to taste each of them.
And I loved them all… how could we decide which cake Val and Matt should take for the wedding?!
“Ohhh good the one with the caramel-crème… I love it. Does Matt like caramel?” , Ana looked over to Val.
“I don’t know, but he gets no say in this, since he is not here to fuckin taste all this. I hate the time when he is on tour and I can’t be with them… “
“Oh Val, they will be coming back tomorrow, and guess what we feel exactly the same. I miss Zacky so damn much… why do I have to start this fucking Job right before they went on tour.” I replied.
“Sorry for helping you get a job in my company, Romy.” Ana said sarcastically and we started to laugh.
I worked together with Ana at the event planning company not in the same department but nearly door to door and I was happy with my job. I was working in the marketing department and had some nice colleagues and spent my lunch break with one of my friends, Ana.
I was so glad that she and Brian were happy together again. They were so happy even happier than before if someone can believe that.
And only in one week Matt and Val will finally get married.
Ana and I helped Val with the last preparation of the wedding this was one of the last decisions she had to make alone, since Matt was on tour with the guys.
They had to get back to Europe and play the rescheduled concerts there as well as some new concerts that were planned.
Tomorrow finally I would see Zacky again, I was so excited and we had planned something “special”.

Zacky’s POV

The tour was over and it was finally the time to get back home. I couldn’t wait to sleep in my own bed again and have Romy by my side.
I missed her so damn much, it wasn’t normal. Even after these couple of month that we have been together now, I still had these moments of jealousy and it got even worse when I was on tour and she wasn’t with me. Maybe she met someone new… or her feelings towards me have changed in the time that we were apart?
“Ahh.. damn only a couple of hours and I can kiss my girl again… I can’t wait to hold her in my arms. What about you Zack?” Brian had a big smile on his face.
“Yeah, same here… don’t get me wrong I love touring but I can’t wait to be back home.” I patted Brian on the back and took my suitcase to get to the check in area.

We arrived early in the morning at the Long Beach airport I looked around and hoped to find a familiar face but I couldn’t see anyone.
“Yo, Matt is Val picking us up?” I looked over at Matt who was also searching for someone.
“To be honest I don’t fucking know, I talked with Val so much about wedding stuff that I haven’t gotten the chance to talk about the pickup… is my sister coming?”
Before I could answer Jimmy interrupted, “No she is working, I talked to her yesterday pretty late she said she and Ana will be working today.”
“Are you fucking kidding me, I can’t believe it. We are coming home and no one is here to fucking say hi and pick us up?!” Brian yelled.
“I said to Lacey yesterday that we will meet at Matt’s place and she will pick me up there… like always…” Johnny looked confused.
There we were standing all five of us in the fuckin hall of the airport with our suitcases and shit and no one had a care to pick us up…
Perfect, a fucking perfect start…

Romy’s POV

I looked over at Ana, Val and Lacey we looked from afar at our boys standing there in the hall thinking we would let them arrive without picking them up… I couldn’t hide my smile.
Every one of them was pulling their phones out and trying to call us… but all our phones were shut off… it would take them just a couple of seconds to notice…
“FUCK, is she fucking kidding me… only voicemail!” Matt yelled.
I looked at Val she had to stifle a laugh as well.
“Lacey’s phone is shut off, too.”
“Can’t reach, Ana! Do you think something happened?” Brian sounded concerned; he always was like this after Ana had left him once.
“Nothing from Romy as well... “, Zacky sounded disappointed. I wanted to run over to him and kiss him senseless but we wanted to wait some more, Val wanted to give a sign.
All 5 stared helplessly at their phones, “Do I really have to call my parents to pick us up? I can’t believe it…” Matt shook his head.
And I had to control myself not to burst out laughing at my brother’s desperate expression.

After that Val had mercy with the boys and we moved forward finally letting the guys see us.
Brian was the first to react he dropped his suitcases and ran towards Ana caught her and swirled her around. “Oh baby, I missed you so much. I love you…”
Then the others turned around as well and I only had eyes for Zack, I saw him and my only thoughts were to finally be in his arms again, to hear his voice not only through my phone, to kiss his beautiful lips and gaze into his mesmerizing green eyes.
When he spotted me a smile spread his lips and he also dropped his bag to the floor and I ran into his open arms. He embraced me tight, that I had a hard time to breath.
“Babe, I need air.” I whispered.
“Damn, Romy… I thought… fuck. I love you!” He whispered into my neck.
After we greeted each other which must have took us quite a time we settled into the cars and everyone drove home.

Jimmy’s POV

Just a few seconds ago we were all standing at the airport wondering who would pick us up. Funny from the outside to see the 5 members of Avenged Sevenfold standing at the airport and without a clue what to do to get home. I would have laughed if I wouldn’t have been one of them. And then only a few moments later all the guys were gathered into the arms of their loved ones. Romy, Val, Ana and even Lacey were here to pick us up. The guys dropped all their luggage and the girls threw themselves into their arms. Only I was standing alone, sure that were all my friends as well but this was one of the moments when I felt so lost.

Now I was sitting with Romy and Zacky in her car to drive home. They would drop me of at my house, I couldn’t tell them that I would rather not be alone. I knew that they needed their time to make up for the time apart from each other. That I had a lot of questions for Romy as well and wanted to catch up with the things that I had missed in her live and share my tour stories with her wasn’t mattering to them right now. So I would give them today to catch up… but tomorrow I would get my share of my best friends Romy and Ana, so Brian and Zack should be prepared.
We arrived at my house and Romy kissed my cheek and said goodbye Zacky also hugged me goodbye and I opened the door to my house. Home… all alone.
