Brian's Letters To Matthew

Zacky is sitting on the couch hugging Brian, who is hugging him back. They have been sitting like that for what seemed like forever.
“What am I going to do?” Zacky asks, “I was hoping I’d be done with high school before all these big grown-up choices.”
“I know Sweetie, I can understand that fear. If I can help somewhat, I can talk to my stepmother Suzy. She home schooled me when I was pregnant with you. I want to make sure you get your proper education as well.”
Zacky softly smiled to himself, feeling such a warmth before it fades for a moment.

“What about Mom and Dad?”
“They did accept about my pregnancy. Sure they will be surprised but I feel that they love you so much that they will accept you too.”
“And Jimmy…”
“He knew there is a possibility but if he loves you that way you have described to me then I believe he will stay.”
Zacky looks down at his hands, somewhat playing with his own fingers, “Can I… Can I have him come over?”
“Of course.”

Brian opens the door and lets Jimmy in. Zacky is found sitting on the loveseat quietly. Jimmy looks around as he walks over to Zacky, sitting next to him.
“Is everything okay?”
Zacky looks up at his boyfriend, “James…”
Jimmy sits straight up, his full attention still given to Zacky.
“Its… I…”
“…”
“I’m pregnant.”
Jimmy looks down at his lap for a moment before looking at Zacky once again and pulling him in to a hug.
“You’re… you’re okay with this?”
“This is a lot to take in I’ll admit, but we’re having a baby and I can’t think of myself anymore.”
Zacky stares at Jimmy at awe. He was right. When it comes to a child, you must think of them before yourself.
Zacky looks over at Brian, who flashes a small smile.

“How do you feel?” Brian asks.
“Actually,” Zacky answers as he places a hand on his stomach, “I’m kind of hungry.”

“Chinese?” Jimmy asks, of course hearing that made Zacky’s eyes light up.
Brian chuckles, “I do have some take out menus from a few good places.”
“Sounds like a plan.”

When Brian came back with the menus he saw Zacky laying his head on Jimmy’s lap and he lays on the loveseat. It made him think of when he would lay his head on Matt’s lap.

“Hi, how can I help you?”

“I’m here to pick up an order for Kim Sanders.”
“Give me one moment please.”

Matthew waits quietly, looking around as he waits for his mother’s order. He spots a book, slowly picking it up.

“Sir?”

Matthew turns around and sees the clerk with a double layered decorated cake.
“Oh, thank you.”

Matthew retrieves the cake, with the book still in hand.
