Say This Sooner -A7X One Shot

The concert had just ended and I had just finished changing on the tour bus and we were now waiting for our cabs to get here. We were going to some restaurant to celebrate tonight’s amazing show. They did great tonight, and I was really proud of them for getting this far, though I always knew that they would.

I got into the cab alongside Brian and Matt while the others were seated behind us in the two rows of the van. "So where are we going?" I asked as we drove down the brightly lit city streets.

Brian shrugged. "I don't know, probably somewhere close to a liquor store. I need a drink."

I stifled a laugh. "Brian, you just turned 20. How do you expect to buy alcohol without an I.D?"

"Well Johnny does have that fake one his brother made him. He did a pretty good job on it." Zack mentioned.

Jimmy snickered. "Please, Johnny doesn't even pass for a 15 year old. Do you honestly think they're going to believe that he's 21?" Everyone laughed while Johnny rolled his eyes.

Soon enough, we pulled up to a big, fancy restaurant that made me doubt that we could afford to even walk in. I was wondering why everyone was all so dressed up. I had no idea they would actually take me to some place like this.

"This is where we're eating?" I asked, unsure.

Matt chuckled, hearing the concern in my voice. "Yup, and look Brian," He said, pointing to a florescent sign that said Red Sky Liquor and Wine. "There's you a liquor store just down the block."

Brian gleamed. "Alright, let's hurry this up so we can get over there and get some booze."

I stifled a laugh. "Yeah, good luck with that."

We went inside and had tables put together so we could all sit next to each other. I was about to take my usual spot in between Brian and Johnny when Jimmy smiled and wrapped an arm around my shoulder, setting me down in between him and Matt, and then pushed my chair in for me.

I smiled. "Why thank you, kind sir." I curtsied before sitting.

"Oh, I am delighted to be of your service, my lady." He said in a fancy, old British accent.

Jimmy and I always played around like this, hardly ever able to take each other seriously.

"So after this, and after Brian gets his booze," Matt chuckled, rolling his eyes at Brian. "Why don't we all go stay at a hotel for tonight?"

"Yeah, it'll be nice to finally sleep in a real bed again." Zack nodded.

I smiled. "I would love that, actually. First thing I would do is hop in the shower. I'm tired of Brian using all the hot water on the tour bus."

They all laughed as he threw a fake glare at me. "First thing I'll be doin' is getting drunk of my ass."

Johnny lifted his soda in the air. "Cheers to that!"

"Put your glass down. We'll save the toasting for later, when we actually have something to toast with." Brian smirked.

Jimmy laughed and looked down at me. "What about you Antonia? You gonna drink with us tonight?"

I gave him a look. "Guys, I'm only 19. Actually, none of us should be drinking."

"Oh don't go being Miss Responsible on us now. You were the one who got drunk at that Halloween party last year.” Zack laughed and soon everyone else chimed in.

I scoffed. “Only because you guys lied to me and spiked the punch at Matt’s party!”

They all began cracking up at the memory of that horrible night on Halloween last year. Long story short, I drank way too much and flirted with what I thought was some cute guy all night, but when I asked the guys about it later, it turned out to be the fake skeleton dressed in a sombrero Matt had put up for decoration. They still haven't let me down for that one, probably never will.

"So, did that guy ever give you his number? You two really seemed to hit it off." Brian joked. I saw that one coming.

"You know what? Just...just shut up Brian. You were even more drunk than I was that night. I do recall you making out with that mop you thought was Michelle." Michelle and Brian have been dating since our sophomore year.
