Rise of The Fallen.

The New Life.

"Yvette, honey, wake up." Yvette opened her eyes slowly, looking around to regain her bearings on where she was. Blinking a few times, she turned her head to see a smiling Matt beside her. "Where are we?" She asked, her neck aching terribly. "You were sleeping for a while and the others have become tired themselves. We're at a hotel." He spoke softly, taking her hand. She set her bookd down on her seat before scurrying out of the SUV.
"Are you hungry?" He asked, putting an arm around her shoulders. Yvette nodded her head, rubbing her neck softly. "Leave it be. We'll eat first, then once we go to our tom I'll work the kink out." Matt smiled softly at her. She just simply nodded again, trying to rub sleep from her eyes.
"There's the sleeping beauty." One of the mend said. Yvette looked at him, noticing a set of dark, brown orbs staring intently at her. "Don't spook the poor girl, Brian." another said, his eyes a bright green. "I'm Zack or Zacky if you prefer. This is Brian." He said, pointing at the brown eyed fellow. Yvette offered a small twitch of her lips. "Has she a tongue or is she simply mute?" A shorter male asked, seeming rather annoyed with her silence. "Keep your mouth shut, Johnny. She'll speak when ready." Matt growled. "Where's Jimmy?" Brian asked as his brows furrowed. "He went to get us a table. Why don't we all go and wash up." Matt said, pulling Yvette with him towards a long hallway.
He pulled out a blue card once they reached their room, swiping it through the lock before opening the door. "Here we are. Go freshen up." He said, guiding her with his hand on her back.
Yvette shrugged his hand off, making her way into the small bathroom. Turning the overhead light on, she looked at herself in the mirror. She didn't look any different, but yet she looked a little worn out from the car ride. She splashed cool water on her face and neck. "Yvette? The tables ready." Matts voice said behind the door. "Just a minute." She called out, turning the water off and drying her face off. She pulled a hair band from her pocket of her jeans, pulling her hair back tightly before opening the door. "All done." She muttered.
Matt nodded his head, taking her hand in his. They met up with the others again, all six making their way to their designated table.
"So, Yvette, tell us something about yourself." Matt said as he pulled her chair out for her. Yvette chewed her bottom lip, scanning the men around her, "There's not much to say really..." she mumbled. "Oh come on now. There has got to be something that interests you." Brian urged, smirking at her. Yvette blushed, shaking her head, "No, I'm just a simple girl." She heard laughter from them. "Sweetheart, none of us are just simple." Jimmy said. "You're father would have promised you to me if you were just simple." Matt pointed out.
Yvette looked over at him, her cheeks flushing again. "I'd rather not talk about that." She spoke lowly, averting her gaze to the table.
Matt resisted the urge to roll his eyes at her little statement. "I'm hungry, where's the waiter?" Johnny piped up, loud enough forr someone to come rushing towards them.
"My apologies everyone." The young woman said, handing everyone a menu. "What'll you have to drink?"
"Five beers." Matt ordered, then turned his gaze to Yvette.
"Water." Yvette murmured.
The waitress walked away after jotting down their drink orders. Yvetted looked over the menu, paying no mind to the chatter around the table. The waitress came back moments later, setting the beers down for the guys. Yvette was to caught up in finding something to eat that when her shirt suddenly clung to her chest with an ice cold shock, her throat clenched tightly. She pushed herself away from the table, gasping loudly.
"I am so sorry miss!" The waitress was practically pleading with the girl.
Yvettes eyes burned as she tried to wipe herself clean. It wasn't until her throat released a broken sob that Matt jumped up to her aid. "Come on, let's go back to the room." He held her to his chest as he ushered her away after telling Brian to order her something she could eat in the room. Yvette trembled, not from the cold water on her skin, but from her emotions that ran through her.
"Come on, Yvette. It's okay." Matt soothed her, completely oblivious to the fact that she wasn't crying over the embarrassing situation.
After swiping the card through the lock and opening the door, Matt guided the shaking girl back into the room. "Okay, I'll get you a new shirt, or some pajamas. Would that be a be okay?" He asked as he crouched down in front of her. Yvette nodded her head, wrapping her arms around herself. Matt smoothed her hair behind her ears, kissing her forehead sweetly. "Be right back." He whispered, getting up then.
He moved from her and walked over to one of her suit cases. He sifted through different articles of clothing before settling on a pair of rainbow colored pajama pants and a purple tank top. "Here we go." He breathed out. "I'm going to go check if your meal has been ordered yet. Would you like me to join you?" He asked. "You don't have to, Matthew." Yvette whispered. "It's no problem, really." He offered again. Yvette sighed, "Please, don't let me keep you from your brothers." She said. MAtt was hesitant but nodded his head. "Alright, I'll be back with your meal." He leaned down and kissed her forehead again before exiting the room.
Yvette stared at the door for a good long while before moving from the bed. She stepped into the bathroom where she started a hot bath instead of just changing into the pajamas Matt had pulled out for her.
Stripping out of her street clothes, she sunk down to the edge of the tub before being satisfied with the temperature. She slid down into the scalding water, her pale skin turning a bright shade of pink. Closing her eyes, Yvette settled into the water, her head lulling to the side until that pain reared its ugly head. Huffing, she sat up, rubbing her hand over the obvious pinched nerve, trying to relieve some of the pain. She sat in the water, rubbing her neck for what seemed like a just a few minutes when the door to the room came open.
"Yvette?" She heard Matt's gravelly voice on the other side of the bathroom door.
"Bath." She called out as she pulled the plug to let the water out. She pulled herself out from the tub, wrapping a towel around chest. She opened the door just slightly to see Matt standing in the middle of the room, "I'll be out in a minute." She clarified. Matt just nodded his head, setting what she assumed was her meal on the small table beside the long dress in their room. She closed the door quietly before dropping her towel. She pulled on the pajama pants over her long leg, then the top over her head. The hem of the shirt rested just above her belly button, the waist band of her pants hung low on her wide hips. She raked her fingers through her curls as she stepped out of the bathroom, seeing Matt's back turned to her as he himself pulled on a pair of grey sweat pants. His upper body graced with a white beater that did not do justice in hiding any of the tattoos that adorned his skin.
She cleared her throat, making him turn around, "Hey." He whispered, smiling at her, a set of dimples carved perfectly into his beautiful face. She smiled softly, wiggling her fingers at him before crossing her arms over her bust. "There's no need to be shy, Yvette. I told your father I would take care of you and I am a man of his word." He spoke softly, stepping towards her. Yvette looked down at her feet, "Then my father made a wise choice for my husband to be." She said, p8icking her head up to look at him.
Matt smirked somewhat, "I would agree, but I think that would make me seem a little too insensitive to your feelings." This caught Yvette off guard, her eyes shining with fresh tears.
"Please, no more of that. It breaks my heart." Matt whispered as he cupped her cheeks with his large hands. Yvette sniffled softly, nodding her head, "I'm sorry." She mumbled.
"Don't be. This is a big change for you." He said, rubbing his calloused thumbs over her pink cheeks. "Eat. We have to be on the road early in the morning, you need your strength." He said, giving her another dazzling smile.
Brian must have read her mind, because once she opened the little box, her eyes met a large steak with a baked potatoes dressed with sour cream and green onions. "He also got you a salad to go wit that." Matt added, pulling another little box out. "With ranch and red onions?" She asked, feeling more comfortable around her betrothed. "The very same." Matt chuckled.
Yvette laughed lightly, getting a kind look from Matt. "What?" She asked, her lips still turned up into a smile. "Your laugh. It's...sweet." He said, shrugging his shoulders. She blushed, reaching for her utensils. "Well while you eat, I'm going to make a few calls in the other room. Make sure everything is in order for our arrival back home." Matt said, patting her leg gently before getting up from the table.

Jimmy sat on the edge of the bed he had to share with Zacky, watching as the other scanned through the various channels on the TV screen. "Fuck, would you just settle on a fucking channel and call it good! You're driving me up the wall with the constant clicking." He exclaimed. Zacky just looked at him and proceeded to click the button the remote just to annoy the other. Before Jimmy could jump up, a loud rapping came from the door.
Jimmy glared at Zacky as he walked over to the door, pening it to see Matt standing there, "Hey, man. Something wrong with the girl?" He asked as he opened the door so Matt could walk in.
"No, she's eating right now. I had to make a few calls, that's why I'm here." Matt explained.
"Brian already called, but you might want to check anyway. You know the man can't think straight when Lila answers the phone." Zacky chuckled, flipping through the channels still.
"Zack, I fucking swear, if you don't knock that off, I'm going to shove that damned contraption up your puckered ass." Jimmy groaned, falling face first into the bed.
"You two are like children. Which makes me wonder what Syn and Christ are up to." Matt grumbled.
"He probably has Johnny hog tied in the closet again." Zacky commented, regarding to the last time Brian had left the shortest member of their group tied up and gagged in a closet so he could get some sleep.
"Christ, Jimmy go check on those too, I need Yvette's teacher around, not bounded up like an animal." Matt ordered, putting his phone to his ear. Jimmy went to protest, but received a pillow to the side of his head by Zacky, getting a look say 'Don't argue with him.'
Just as Jimmy walked out of the hotel room, Johnny came bolting out of his own.
"Put a damn muzzle on that jackass before I do!" He growled, pushing past a very amused Jimmy.
He grabbed the door before it shut all the way and walked in, "Syn, what did you do?" He asked, a wide grin on his face. "Why do you assume it was me who did anything?" Brian asked, his own grin matching that of Timmy's. "Because usually, it's always you. What did gnome do this time?" Jimmy asked, taking a seat at the small table in the far left corner of the room. "He kept switching channels." Brian said with a simple shrug of his shoulders.
"Oh my God, him too? Zacky has been doing that the entire time after dinner." Jimmy exclaimed. Brian rolled his eyes, standing up to pull his shirt off, "So what do you think of Shadows' new girl?" He asked, tossing the shirt into his bag. Jimmy bobbed his head from side to side, "I like you. She's too quiet though." He said honestly. Brian nodded his head. "I swear that waitress spilled her drink on purpose." He grumbled. "Oh big time. I just don't get why Yvette started crying though. Poor thing."
"Well what would you do if you were surrounded by uys you've never met before and then have some bitch spill frigid ass cold water on you?" Brian asked as he arched his brow.
"Point taken, my good friend, point taken." Jimmy agreed.
Brian chuckled, "Think Johnny will be back in here?" He asked as he stripped out of his pants only to pull on a pair of red sweats. Jimmy laughed, picking at his dull nails, "Highly unlikely. Perhaps he'll end up in Zacky's room."
"Well go clear it up with Shadows. I'm going to sleep." Brian murmured before crawling under the cheap bed spread.
Jimmy chuckled, "Yes, Master." He joked as he headed for the door.

He found Johnny with ease, the short man standing at the bar with a beer in his hand, "Ah, Mr. Christ. I have come bearing good news and all that bullshit." He said as he put an arm around his friends shoulders.
"You restrained that delinquent so I can sleep?" Johnny replied sarcastically. Jimmy pointed at him, opening his mouth and then closing it, "No." He said, laughing lightly, "But I got you a different room mate." He nodded his head, "I'll stay with Sun, you stay with Vengeance." He said with a broad smile. "Now why didn't our fearless leader think of that before rooming me with Gates?" Johnny muttered.
"I do not know, but hurry with your drink. Tis beddy-bye time." Jimmy said, his eyes comically wide as he backed away from Johnny, "I'll leave the door open, give me your key." He said quickly. Once Johnny handed the card over, Jimmy bolted towards the way he came, leaving Johnny with a very disgruntled look on his face. "I will never understand that dolt." Johnny murmured into his drink.

Yvette had finally finished her meal before Matt walked into the room, "Oh you're done. How was it?" He asked, helping her discard of the boxers that littered the table. "Very good. Thank you." She said, giving him a soft smile. "I'm glad." Matt returned the smile, It's time to rest though, unfortunately." He added.
Yvette chuckled, "I don't think I'm going to get much sleep." She muttered as she stepped towards her side of the bed. "Why do you say that?" Matt asked as he turned down the blankets. Yvette blushed, "First time sharing a bed with a man." She admitted, "That and my neck is still being quite bothersome." she added.
Matt looked at her, feeling somewhat guilty, "Here let me take a look at your neck." He spoke lowly. Yvette chewed on her lip as she crawled on to the mattress, turning so her back faced him. Matt came up behind her, his legs resting around her as he sat down. "Now I want you to tell me if it begins to hurt more." He said, his mouth inches away from her ear.
Yvette answered him with a small nod of her head, feeling goose bumps form on her skin as she sat there. Matt slid his fingers across the skin of her neck after pushing her long hair out of the way. He kneaded inot her flesh just slightly, making Yvette jolt when he pushed against the tender spot of her neck.
"Are you okay?" He asked, ceasing his movements for a few moments, "Just sore..." She whispered.
"Okay, well It's going to hurt for a few moments. If you need to, squeeze my leg as tight as you can." He instructed. Yvette inhaled deeply, "o-okay." She stuttered, her hands going to rest on his knees, holding onto them lightly.
Matt went back to kneading into her skin, receiving a firm grip on his knee caps. He gritted his teeth as her nails dug into the thin fabric of his sweats.
"Matt, it hurts." She whined.
"Shh...I'm almost done." He whispered in her ear. That seemed to have calmed her, but her fingers stayed embedded in his knees. The knot that had formed in Yvette's muscle was rather difficult, but being a stubborn male, Matt would not admit defeat against the pesky knot that was causing his betrothed so much discomfort. After a few moments, the knot eased away slowly, the vice grip Yvette had on him loosening.
"Better?" He asked, resting his chin on her shoulder. "Much, thank you." Yvette answered. Her hands still rested on his knees, making him believe that she was coming around to being more comfortable around him.
"We should rest now, love." He said, kissing her shoulder sweetly.
Yvette nodded, pulling away from him then. Matt scooted back a little, flopping back so he could roll over onto his side. He looked up at her, "Don't worry, Yvette. I will not take advantage of you." He reassured her, patting the side of the bed.
Yvette inhaled again, crawling back onto the bed, pulling the blankets up to her chin. Matt smirked softly, reaching over her to shut the lap off. "Good night, Yvette." He whispered.

`-`-`-`-`-`-`***`-`-`-`-`-`-`-`

The way Yvette and Matt were woken up was nothing short of a clip out of a bad horror movie. Somehow Jimmy had gotten into the room, pillows in both his hands.
"Wake up, lovebirds!" He yelled, smacking the both of them repeatedly.
"If you hit me one more damn time with that fucking pillow, I will make it my mission in life to see to it that you will be eating your food through a fucking straw!" Yvette yelled, chucking the alarm clock at Jimmy's head.
Jimmy backed away as Mat gaped at her, his lips turning into a grin.
"....Finally! She speaks threats, but I'll fucking take it!" Jimmy laughed, tossing the pillows over his shoulders, "Anyway, we have everything packed up. Just waiting on you two so we can catch breakfast and make our way back to the manor." Jimmy explained as he walked towards the door. "Give us fifteen." Matt yawned, rolling out of bed. Jimmy saluted him as he waltzed out of the room
"I'm sorry for what I said." Yvette murmured. Matt looked at her before cracking up, "Sweetheart, you definitely don't need to be sorry for that. You just made a life long friend in that man. So long as you don't try and sick a dog on him." He said as he stood up.
Yvette knew what he meant by the term 'dog.' It's what some used for the 'followers' of Manson, the ones that hunted down the girls for the monster. They only saw it as keeping their necks off the line if they brought the girls like mindless drones.
"Yvette, you're staring off." Matt chuckled, snapping his fingers in front of her face. "Sorry." She blushed heavily as she shuffled out of bed.
Matt shook his head, "Go get dressed and then we'll go get something to eat." He instructed, pulling out a change of clothes for her. Yvette took the clothes, putting them under her right arm before reaching for a pair of underwear and a bra. "I won't wear jeans without underwear." She stated as she walked into the bathroom.
Matt chuckled again as he pulled out a pair of dark blue jeans and a form fitting long sleeve shirt. He dressed quickly, slipping his feet into a pair of socks and his steel toe boots. He zipped the suit cases up before setting them by the door.
Yvette finally emerged from the bathroom in the clothes Matt had picked for her, which consisted of a pair of light blue jeans and a simple black tee shirt. She stepped past him to retrieve her chucks, "How much longer will the rest of the drive be?" She asked as she pushed her feet into her shoes. "About three hours tops." Matt answered, gathering the rest of their items.
"How long did it take to get here then?" She asked, cocking her head to the side.
"Hmm, I'd say...six, seven hours." He said, stuffing his wallet into his back pocket, "Why so curious?" He asked, grinning at her. Yvette shrugged her shoulders, "No reason really.." She smiled back at him. "Are we ready?"
"Ready as we'll ever be." He nodded his head, grabbing their luggage, "Get the door please."
Yvette obliged, opening the door so Matt could carry their luggage out. Jimmy was standing outside, another wicked grin on his face.
"Rev, take her to breakfast, I'm going to carry these out." Matt instructed, walking past the taller male. Jimmy nodded his head, "Shall we miss?" He said as he held an arm out for her. Yvette nodded her head, taking his arm.
Jimmy walked her down the hallway, leading them to the same eating area where the waitress spilled water on her. "I got your orange juice, sweetheart. I hope that's all right." Brian said, holding his hand out to the tall glass of juice.
"That's perfect." Yvette said, thanking him as she sat down in her seat at the table.
They all began to eat, aside from Yvette, who sat there silently. "Dear, you need to eat." Johnny murmured. "Oh, um, I'm just waiting for Matt. He hasn't returned yet." Yvette said, smoothing her hands over her legs.
"Oh there's no need to wait for me, Yvette. Eat." Matt's voice sounded as he walked up behind her. "What's for breakfast?" He asked as he took a seat beside Yvette.
"Waffles, eggs, bacon, and sausage." Zacky said as he sipped on his coffee. Matt nodded his head, piling food onto his plate, as well as Yvettes. "So what's the plan, Matt?" Zacky asked, biting off a piece of bacon.
"We'll talk when we get home." Matt murmured. This struck the guys as odd, confused looked on their faces, "Since when do we wait-"
"This place is surrounded by dogs, Jonathon." Matt hissed.
Jimmy's eyes shifted from his normal hue of blue to a bright red, "How many?" He sneered.
Yvettes stomach dropped, the taste of food turning into a taste of ash rather quickly.
"It's Jeffrey Nothing and his goons. Eat quickly." Matt said. Jimmy shook his head, "No. We need to leave. Now." He spat. Yvette looked to Matt, her eyes resembling that of a doe. Matt looked around the table, observing everyones expressions.
"Let's go." He said, quickly wiping his mouth off with his napkin.
Everyone could have moved fast enough. Silverware clattering as they got up from the table. "James, take Yvette to the car, Gates, stay behind me. Do not draw attention to yourselves. Clear?" Matt said, leaving no room for discussion.
Jimmy grabbed Yvette's hand, "Come." He hissed, his usual calm and playful nature masked by something dark and hard. Something that made Yvette's skin crawl.
"Do not look around. Keep your eyes ahead." Jimmy spoke, pulling her to his side. "I understand.: Yvette whispered, holding onto his hand tightly. Matt and the others were hot on their heals, up until Waylon, one of Jeffrey Nothing's men, jumped in Matt's path.
"Waylon." Matt growled, reaching behind him to retrieve his gun.
"Ah, ah, ah. This all can be avoided if you hand over the girl." Waylon straightened himself, crossing his arms over his wide chest.
"She is of no importance. Especially to you." Matt spat.
"Oh Manson begs to differ."
Turning around, Matt met the eyes of none other than Christina as she held a knife to Brians throat. "Where is she?" The woman asked, her voice sickly sweet.
"Go fuck yourself, dog." Brian hissed, digging his elbow into her gut once he inched the knife away from his throat.
Christina grunted, doubling over, and giving Brian the advantage to send her sprawling down the long hallway.
Waylon narrowed his eyes, "This isn't over, Shadows. Prepare yourself for something worse than us." He said, twisting himself quickly until he disappeared, Christina following suit.
Matt breathed in heavily, looking back at his men. Once he saw that Brian and the others were okay, he nodded his head, "Let's go."
