Watch Your Heart

Johnny's POV*

"So Short shit what do you think about her?" Matt said pulling out a cigarette.
"What do you mean?" I asked him trying to play off the question.
"Don't play stupid Christ. Jimmy told me you were staring at her the whole ride home." He said chuckling.
Dammit Jimmy. I started to remember the ride home. And her bleeding head.
"I'll be right back." I said running into the kitchen. I grabbed a first aid kit and a towel and ran to her room. I heard crying.
"Uh, hello?" I said softly knocking on the door. there was sniffling and drawers shuffling before the door opened.
"Yeah?" she asked. Her eyes were red and she was holding toilet paper to her head.
"Um, I brought aspirin and a first aid kit." I said looking at her forehead.
"Uh, I'm okay. Thanks though." she said hesitating.
"Liv, let me just-"
"I may have been crying but that doesn't mean I'm a helpless little girl. I can take care of myself." she said slamming the door in my face.
I stood there staring at her door. I felt hurt. I only knew her for 2 days and I already felt a connection to her.

Olivia's POV*

I felt like a bitch for doing that to Christ. I slowly opened the door. He stood there staring at me but I knew he was zoned out. His eyes were filled with sadness. He snapped out of his trance and looked at my cut on my forehead.
"I'm sorry. I just never let anybody see me cry and they say me cry and now you think lesser of me." I finished with a shaky voice.
"Of course not, we think you're a bad ass bitch just like K" he said flashing me his famous smile.
I started laughing. And closed my door. We sat in the hallway and talked about the other gangs. I was careful not to mention AA. We had fun and talked for 2 hours, at least. But then, he kissed me.
