Chapter 36
Erin’s P.O.V
Zack, Johnny and I were parked around the block and Zack was scoping out the area and I sat there against the side of the car fidgeting… so many things could go wrong on so many levels. Liv was gonna pop soon and I did not need her to stress over Johnny being with us while we attempted to rescue the Berry’s.
“You okay E?” Johnny asked adjusting his hat and I just nodded and smiled at him.
“I just want to make sure that we get you out of here in one piece” I said to him and he hugged me and Zack came back laughing.
“Glad to see you care so much about little old me, we are good, the guards finished their walk around and we should have at least five minutes to get to the generator behind the house” Zack said and I threw my hair up and tucked it underneath my hat and stretched.
“Oh not the stretching” They groaned and I shot off into the black of the night and sprinted towards the back of the house trying to keep my feet as silent as possible. Johnny and Zack made it back and Johnny started rewiring immediately hooking his device up and I watched the area carefully.
“Hurry up” Zack said and I just shushed him and the lights went out in the house and I just stood there grabbing out a small flashlight and we snuck around the side watching as Ben, Cameron and Chase lit the room up.
“There they are” I said and both men pulled me to the other side of the house so we could take them by surprise but when the boys let go and ducked I was completely oblivious so I stood behind a tree as two guards walked right by me. I sat there holding my ground and quietly crept around the tree for a moment and they turned back and I stopped trying to hold my breath and they finally walked away and Johnny and Zack tip toed over to me.
“What the hell you two… dicks” I said and we continued to the other side of the house and opened the door that led into the kitchen. We squatted down and I could hear Chase talking with Ben and I motioned for Zack and Johnny to go through the other rooms.
“Erin what the hell, you have to have someone” Johnny whispered.
“I will be fine… trust me this will work” I said taking my hat off my head and shaking my hair a little and they separated from me. I figure if Chase, Cameron or Ben got a glimpse of me that I could at least get one of them to part from the Berry’s and Zack and Johnny could deal with the other two enough to get the Berry’s out of there. I heard someone walk into the kitchen and I took a deep breath and peeked around the side realizing that it was Chase… good I the huge buffoon. I stood up and smiled at him and he just sat there and I could see him tensing up.
“What the hell are you doing here?” He asked and I just blew him a kiss and he lunged over to me and I bolted into the other room with him following closely along behind me and I just threw anything and everything in front of me… Liv was right he was huge.
“Aweee is the little blonde afraid” He spat and I just bolted towards him knife handing him in the throat and he fell to the floor holding his throat and I kicked the side of his face and two guards came in and he grabbed my foot and I fell to the ground. I grabbed behind my back and pulled my gun and they all backed up and I just stood there.
“Don’t touch me… or I will end you” I said and moved towards the door and they all backed up and I turned around and I saw Chase come towards me and I shot him in the shoulder… thank god for a suppressor. I ran downstairs and Johnny and Zack had the men out cold. I grabbed everyone.
“What the fuck is the fucking rush?” Johnny asked not wanting to budge out of want for revenge…
Matt’s P.O.V
Liv was asleep on the couch in the living room and she had been watching TV but I knew that
she was tired and she was really nervous about Jimmy. Brian and Kylie were having a swim and I sat in the kitchen with Jimmy who was in need of a drink.
“I am sure Erin is okay” Jimmy said and I just smiled.
“I know she is alright, she can handle herself, I am really just hoping that Liv is okay…. She seems like she is really sad since Johnny left to go help get the Berry’s” I said and Jimmy and I just sat there and all of the sudden Liv shot up and she was gasping loudly and she held her
stomach tightly.
“Liv are you okay?” Jimmy asked running out to her and she just leaned forward and Jimmy shot back when her water broke… shit… shit… fucking shit. I ran out and handed Jimmy a towel and I was really worried because we only had basic medical supplies… the stuff never made it here.
“Just breathe Liv” Jimmy said and I ran to the phone to call Erin but there was no answer… this was not good at all since Liv was 4 weeks early…
