Chapter 30
Erin’s P.O.V
Everything was going great… Liv and Johnny were extremely happy, Brian and Kylie seemed to be in tune with each other and the other guys were smiley and happy… but I realized as I lied in Matt’s bed that this might not last forever. Suddenly I heard something outside and I got up not waking Matt and walked downstairs and grabbed a knife and I saw someone in the backyard.
“Erin?” Kylie asked at the stairs quietly.
“Shh, there is someone in the backyard but I can’t see for shit” I whispered and she froze up a little and I got on my knees and crawled into the kitchen with Kylie and tried getting closer to the door.
“I don’t think we should be doing this E” Kylie said but she still kept going and I knew that her interest was piqued. We sat there staring out the glass door and the man got closer to the door and we scurried under the table and the guy cut the glass and made his way in. We both heard the man cock his gun and the sound made us jump and I hit the chair on accident.
“Shh” She whispered and the man stopped right near the table… we both trembled at his feet hoping he didn’t look under here. Once he left the kitchen we sat there but… Kylie sneezed and the man came running back to us and we slid out the door and ran down the block with him chasing us.
“Son of a bitch you two get back here!” He screamed at us.
“Do you recognize the voice?” I asked getting winded and she just nodded.
“That is Cameron” She said and we bolted forward and ran into an alley hiding behind a
dumpster and we heard Cameron smack the gun against his hands and whistle.
“Come here little girls… I swear that I won’t hurt you… I just need some answers” He said growing closer to the area. Kylie and I sat there holding hands trying to breathe through this.
Matt’s P.O.V
I tossed and turned and I felt off and when I turned over Erin wasn’t in the bed. I walked downstairs and Brian was searching the living room.
“What’s going on?” I asked and Brian seemed frazzled and before he answered I walked into the kitchen and saw that the glass had been cut.
“I cannot find Kylie anywhere” He said and I just sat there looking around just like he was before and realized that Erin was nowhere to be found as well… this screamed bad news and so I ran up and grabbed my shirt and my phone and I ran out of the house.
“DUDE! Wait!” Brian yelled and I just sat there waiting for him.
“I will got this way and you will go the other and I will call you if I find anything” Brian said and ran to the right and I ran down to the left hoping that somehow I would find the girls, I went a few blocks over and started searching even more and sat there leaning up against the brick wall nearly crying not knowing what to do. But then I heard two girls scream not too far from me.
Erin’s P.O.V
We sat there covering our mouths hoping that he wouldn’t figure out where we were and we were crouched down and both crying.
“Awe come on do you really hate me that much? That really hurts my feelings” He said and he quieted and I couldn’t hear his steps but I could feel both of us tense and the suspense was becoming overwhelming and suddenly he jumped to Kylies side and we both backed up and screamed. But it was a dead end. I sat there trying to block Kylie and Cameron came closer.
“Now for my questions, like… when is Liv due? Ben is starting to get impatient waiting for that baby” Cameron said and Kylie just spit on him and he lunged and I pushed him back and he grabbed my arm and flung me into the wall and my face smacked into and I fell onto my back. He came over and grabbed my neck.
“You always give me and the other gangs problems! Its time to say goodnight E!” He said nearly shouting in my face and I sat there grabbing at his hands and trying to breathe in but his hands were large and really tight on my neck. I felt my heart slowing but Kylie jumped on his back and started swatting at his head. I sat there going in and out and my vision was blurry.
“ERIN STAY WITH ME!” She shouted and punched his face and pulled him off of me and he smacked her off and came back and then I heard Matt. He was shouting for Kylie to
run and she just wouldn’t go, I tried to turn my head but it was nearly impossible. I shot my hand up and punched Cameron in the nose and his nose was pouring blood and he fell to the side and I grabbed Kylie and Matt and ran coughing.
“Erin stop are you alright!” Matt asked but I didn’t stop till we were back at the house. Brian ran to Kylie holding her and kissing her and I just fell to my knees and rubbed my neck and Matt dropped down to my level and hugged me. I saw everyone run outside confused by what the fuck was going on.
“Cameron chased the girls after breaking into the house, Erin and Kylie were stuck in an alley with him and he nearly got Erin… we have to fix this” Matt said and I just sat there trying to come back from that experience.
“This needs to end, Cameron mentioned that Ben was getting impatient about the baby” I said and Liv sat there holding Johnny’s hand and her stomach… I could see big and bad things coming.
