Strumming my Heart
Coming Home
The green of the trees flew past the window, blurring and focusing when the taxi slowed down. I was going home. I havn't been home since 2009, when I moved away, only to realize that I needed to be around my family. My mom, who cried when I told her I was coming back. My dad, who whooped and hollered so loud, I had to pull the phone away from my ears. And my brother, Matt. I haven't even told him yet. I was closest to him than I was to anyone else, so I wanted to suprise him. Besides, he was a famous rock star who was always on tour, and knowing him, if I told him I was coming home, he would cancel the tour just to come home and see me. I didn't even tell my boyfriend, Zacky, because Zacky's in Matt's band, and he would never be able to keep it from the rest of the boys.
Zacky. One of the most beautiful people in the world, both inside and out, but thats probably just because I'm his girlfriend. He had the prettiest green eyes and dark hair that he either slicked over or spiked up. His snakebites contrasted with his white teeth, and they pushed against my lips every time we kissed. Then there was Matt. He was pretty hot, but we are related, so all he is to me is a cute brother. He had tattoo sleves and one side of his lip was peirced. It was hard too tell because he was always wearing aviator sunglasses, but he had the most peircing yet gorgeous gray-green eyes ever.
"Ma'am? I do believe that this is the place. Have a good day." The portly cab driver said. I thanked him and stepped out of the car. I almost gasped. I t had been so long since I've seen Matt's house. It was pretty large, considering he was the famous lead vocalist for the band Avenged Sevenfold. Taking one last look at the road behind me, I took a deep breath, marched up to the front door, straightened my shirt, and knocked.
