Nothing else matters

Zacky’s POV

Romy was acting strange these last days. I can’t put my finger on it but something is going on here and I don’t like it in the least.
We drove over to Brian, again. Like each day, there was still no sign of Ana since she left Brian and that was quite a while ago now.
Brian had lost all the hope that she would be coming back or that we could find her. We thought that at someday now he would snap out of his state of just being a shell and not being a human being, but so far no luck.
He wouldn’t leave his home and he was drinking more and more. He wouldn’t touch his guitar! Hello??? His guitar??? That is just not normal! We couldn’t plan our tour dates because of Brian. And our management was kind of fuckin’ us up with the pressure but fuck them, we must help our friend first after that we will worry about tour dates and stuff.
I stopped in front of Brian’s house and looked over at Romy. She looked exhausted herself; I knew that she wasn’t sleeping much.
“Babe, I know it’s hard for all of us but you need to relax a little. Is there something you wanna tell me? Because I know that something is going on here…”
Romy looked at me eyes wide, “No, Zack… it’s nothing. I am just… I can’t even describe it… I am really and I mean really worried about Brian. If it was a normal break up, then he would have just… you know drank a day or two and found himself another girl… but he just loves Ana that much that he is really wasting away…”
“I know. It’s scary as hell, isn’t it?” I grabbed her hand in mine and leaned over and kissed her lips.
“But you will tell me if it’s something wrong, I mean between the two of us, right? I feel like you are trying to shut me out again.”
“No, Zack. It has absolutely nothing to do with us, believe me. This whole situation is just... it’s getting on my nervous. Sorry, babe I didn’t want to hurt you.” I kissed him again and we climbed out of the car and walked towards Brian’s house.

Romy’s POV

Zacky knew that something was wrong with me… And I felt bad for not telling him the truth. But I promised Ana not to tell anybody. And I really tried to keep the secret but I looked at Brian now, he was really wasting away. He was so thin hadn’t really eaten in days, only drinking one bottle of alcohol after another. This was really not normal anymore.
I had to do something before… before it really was too late. But what… what could I do?!
Alone.. no I cannot do this alone.. ! But I also cannot just say it.. I promised it to Ana.
AHHHHHH DAMN IT, I am going crazy!!!!!! FUCK FUCK FUCK!
“What’s up Romy? You still look so stressed?” , Zacky again being so sweet, kissing my cheek.
“Just lost in thought… sorry.” I smiled a little.
Then my eyes found Jimmy standing in the kitchen he was looking directly in my eyes.
Oh fuck, maybe I could fool Zacky but not Jimmy.
But that would be a good idea, I will talk to Jimmy, he will know what to do. But I should talk to him alone… hm… how do I get to talk to him alone.
“Yooo Romy, come on we will get some food for everyone, what do you guys want?”
“Nothing…” Brian mumbled.
“Ok, we will get a bunch of everything.” Jimmy replied.
Ahhhh Jimmy, you are a fuckin’ genius!! Why hadn’t I thought of this? I stood up and Zack pulled me back down on the couch.
“Stay, Jimmy can get it alone.”
“No, I will help. We will be back soon. And you know Jimmy, he will buy only shit he likes…”
“Yeah you are probably right, then I come along as well.” Zacky stood up and pulled me back up as well.
Damn it!
“No, you stay here. Johnny, Matt and Val will arrive in a couple of minutes and someone needs to open the door. Because our friend here-“ Jimmy motioned to Brian lying unmoving on his couch
“-won't be able to get from this fuckin couch to open the door. So you have to stay to let the others in and to keep him company until then.”
“Ah.. fuck.. ok. But hurry up.” Zacky kissed me goodbye.

Sitting in Jimmy’s car he looked at me curious from the side, “Tell me Romy… what did he do?”
“What? Who?” I looked at him confused.
“Zacky? Who else? You are acting strange around him. What’s wrong? Should I, you know beat him up or something, you know I would do it!” Jimmy joked.
“I am not joking, did he mess it up already?”
“What, no!” I laughed a little at that.
“Come on drive, we need to get the food.”
Jimmy drove over to the next restaurant he found, we walked inside Jimmy ordered nearly everything that was on the menu.
“Please take a seat while we prepare the food, for takeout?”
“Yes, and I’ll have a beer and my beautiful girl her drinks a coke while we wait. Thanks.”
Ok, now was the time, I needed to tell Jimmy what I knew about Ana’s disappearance.
“Jimmy, I have this secret. And I shouldn’t tell it to anybody. But I think it’s necessary that I tell it to you. I need your help to figure out what we can do?!”
