Nothing else matters

Ana`s POV

One week later …

My mobile buzzed. I looked at the caller. It was my friend Kate. She was my friend since we were little. She is only one year older than me.
I picked up and the first thing I heard was," I got engaged!"
"Oh Kate! Wow, amazing! Congratulations!"
"We want to celebrate it tonight and you must be coming!" Oh Fuck no! How can I tell her nicely that I decline…
"Kate, sorry, but I..."
"Oh no way Ana! You must be there! When was the last time we were out together, hm? Come on, please? "
"I don't know..."
"Anastasia..."
"Alright, alright I will be there"
"Great! We'll meet at 8 pm."
"Where?" I asked.
" Chris said that he knows an amazing place. I will send you a message with the address. I don't really know where it is, but we will have a lot of fun, I promise!"
"Yeah, okay, see you tonight"
"Bye"
Yeah, amazing place, fun... We will see...

To my own surprise I was excited for tonight. I was happy for Kate and Chris. I really like them. It's a shame that we can’t see us so often . My good mood was gone when I saw that we were going to the same club as last week the City Light Club.
"Let's go dancing!" Kate said. Oh hell no…! I don't dance!
"I need another drink, you want something?"
"Thanks, we are good. Join us when you are ready!” Kate smiled friendly.
I ordered a Gin tonic and sat at the bar.
Someone pushed me in the side "Hey, damn it… Watch out!"
“Sorry…", murmured a drunken guy and walked unsteadily away.
"Is that's you?! I can’t fuckin’ believe it!" The guy next to me said.
Oh my God. I recognized that voice, that's him: the guy from last week.
"And that's you" I smiled.
"How is your head? I felt so guilty I should have asked for your number and called you the next day to see if everything is alright…"
"No, thanks. I am good. No permanent damage!", I tried to joke. I was smiling like an idiot but couldn't help myself.
"I am sorry. I didn't introduce myself the last time. I'm Brian. Are you alone here?"
"I’m Anastasia. No, I am here with a friend.Celebrating their engagement. And you?" He shook my hand for the introduction and I felt immediately shivers all over my body.
"I’m here with one of my best friends but he is already at the dance floor I guess. Lost track of him couple of minutes ago. Can I order you a drink or something, to make it up to you?"
"Thanks but I ordered just a few seconds ago" I smiled again.
"Ok than maybe one dancing? Pretty please?" I didn’t even get the chance to answer; he just pulls me to the dance floor.

Romy’s POV

We were at this club again and I was there with a friend of mine. But to be honest I was only here because Matt told me that Brian and Zack would be here again.
After the last time in the club Zacky didn’t even speak to me. He seemed to be annoyed by my sheer presence.
I walked to the bar ordered two tequila shots drowned both in not more than 1 minute and headed to the dance floor. I couldn’t see Zacky but immediately spotted Brian. He was dancing with a blonde girl very suggestively.
I just danced lonesome in the middle of the dance floor. Then someone pulled me towards him.
“All alone Romy-girl?” I recognized Zacky’s voice.
“Zack, you here?!” I tried to sound casual.
“Yup. Where is your little friend from last week? He was hanging all over you… thought you two should get a room or something… the way you two danced…”
“Oh… yeah he was a little pushy. I gave him a wrong number so… But Zack do I hear jealousy from you?”
I felt Zacky shake his head, “No… As if I am jealous… I just watch out for you.”
My heart sank again at this. So just watching out for me… like Matt, my brother.
I should just forget about this guy and move on. Why was it so hard?
I freed myself from Zacky’s embrace and walked back to the bar without another word.
