Nothing else matters

Romy’s POV

We were on the road only for a couple of hours now. I hadn’t thought that I would be this close to Zacky so soon again. And I didn’t want after his confession.
I have thought about it again, I couldn’t get it out of my head. And now I had this thought in my head that maybe, we should just do it. And maybe we would have it out of our system.
And I could finally move on and forget about Zack. I looked over at him. He sat next to Johnny at the kitchen area from the big bus, already beer in hand.
Brian was lying in his bunk already writing messages with Ana.
God, he already missed her and we weren’t far away… how will his mood be after a couple of days or weeks?! This tour will be fun….!

Zacky’s POV

Who in hell had this stupid idea of taking Romy on tour with us?
Now I am sitting only a few feet away from her and can’t fucking control my thoughts.
What will happen during the next weeks? And what was she thinking about me after our departure from Matt’s party?
And why would I care what she was thinking about me anyway?
I just wanted to make it clear to her, that there will be no future with us. That I am not the relationship kind of guy. That I would just have fun with her and nothing more…
But was that really what I wanted from her? Was it just attraction?
I shouldn’t be thinking about that right now! I should just concentrate on music, damn it!

Romy’s POV

Why is he staring at me like that? I stood up and walked towards the back of the bus. Jimmy was lying on the big bed, eyes closed and breathing evenly.
I closed the door lightly and looked around. This was the only bed in the bus big enough for 2 people to sleep in it. Normally Matt and Val were sleeping here, because no other girls are on tour with them. And if there was no girl with them they changed that everyone had the chance to sleep there.
I sat down next to Jimmy, he looked so peaceful like that.
We would arrive within half an hour at our first destination. After that show we would fly over to Europe and start with the shows there.
I laid my head on Jimmy’s chest and he immediately wrapped his arm around me, I just wanted to close my eyes for a couple of minutes…

Zacky’s POV

“Yo, Zack where are Brian and Jimmy? We need to move in for the sound check, we are late already…“
“I’m coming…Zack it’s your turn to wake Jimmy… you know how his mood is when we wake him…” Brian yelled. He hopped out of his bunk and was out of the bus faster than I could react.
“Ahh.. damn it…”
I walked to the back of the bus, knocked first and opened then.
What I saw made my heart skip a beat… and my stomach churn…
Jimmy lay in the middle of the bed on his chest rested the head of the sleeping Romy. Both had a small smile on their lips. I knew that they are friends but could there be more then friends?!
Maybe the whole time…?!
Ah damn it this jealousy, I was never the jealous person until her… What is it about her?!
I walked over to the bed and couldn’t help but let my hand slowly move towards Romy’s face I sat down on the bed next to them… I stroked her cheek let my finger move towards her lips. The lips I kissed… my other hand moved on its own accord towards my lips, remembering the feeling…
“Hm… Zacky…” Romy murmured in her sleep. I jerked my hand away as if I was burned and stood up, looking at her face. She said it in her sleep, eyes still closed. I smiled, was she dreaming about me?!

Matt’s POV

“Damn it, Zack… Where are you?!” I walked towards the bus nobody could be seen.
I walked further inside, towards the bedroom at the end of the bus. I just pushed the door open.
“Come on, guys. Sound check in 5 min.’s” I yelled.
Zack stood next to the bed, trying to wake Jimmy who had his arm around my sister both still asleep.
“Zack, just wake them. We don’t have time to be nice.”
I walked forward and grabbed Romy’s foot and started to drag her from the bed.
She opened her eyes and looked at me alarmed, then Jimmy grabbed her around the waist and pulled her up again, “Don’t fuckin’ touch her… oh it’s you… Whats up?”
Jimmy now fully awake looked from me to Zack back to Romy.
“Sound check, right now.” I said it again.
Jimmy pulled himself up from the bed and in the process shoving Romy from the bed to the side where Zacky was standing.
She would have fallen out of the bed if Zacky didn’t grab her and held her up.
I turned around and walked out; sometimes it is like Kindergarten here.
