Vanessa's POV*

I stood there, while my heart sunk to my stomach.

"Zacky is on his way to the hospital?!" I began to cry hysterically.

What if he's in critical condition? I don't know what I would do. But I did know that I needed to get to him, and quickly. The only problem with that is the getting there. If I asked the ambulance to take me, that would be a medical bill I would not be able to really afford right now. So I decided to call up one of the guys. I quickly pulled out my phone and searched through my contacts till I found just the right person to call. Matt.

Matt was the only person other then Zacky who would drop everything for me. He was pretty much my brother for all intensive purposes.

"Hey Nessa, whats up?"Matt answered the phone.

"Can you please come get me and take me to the hospital?" I cried into the phone.

"The hospital? What happened? Wheres Zack?" He said sounding worried.

"We just got into car accident and they took Zacky to the E.R." I said through my sobbing.
"Okay where are you?"Matt said sounding more serious now?

"I'm about a block away from the house at the light before our neighborhood, you won't be able to miss us."

"I'm on my way." Matt said before hanging up.

Before I knew it he was here. The paramedics let me and Jaymee go without too much of a hassle. I put Jaymee's car seat in the back and strapped her in. I was just in a hurry to get to Zack and find out if he's okay. Matt drove as quick as he could to get to the hospital. He was constantly asking me if I was okay or if he should slow down, but in all honesty, I wanted him to speed up a bit. We got to the hospital in no time. I wasn't going to bring Jaymee in though.I just needed to get to Zacky right now.I trust Matt and Val would be able to take care of her for the night.

"Matt, take Jaymee home with you okay? You guys have the spare key to my house if you need anything. It'd just be easier if I didn't bring her in here right now till I know whats going on with Zack. I'll give you a call as soon as I know." I said to him, hoping he would agree with my plan.
"No worries, just take care of him.We'll take care of Jaymee. Let us know whats going on okay. Oh and Nessa, I'm glad you guys are okay."

All I could do was nod and then I ran inside. I ran straight to the nurses station.

"Hi! I'm looking for my boyfriend. His name is Zachary James Baker. He was just brought in by an ambulance." I said fast but clear enough for the lady to understand.

"Yes, can you please take a seat in the waiting room. The doctor will be out to talk to you in a moment." The nurse said as she gestured me towards the waiting area.

My hands were beyond shaky at this point. All I could do was hope that the doctor had good news, or at least some ray of hope for me. I couldn't sit there though, I was way to anxious. I had to get up and walk around. Trying to keep positive when I had no fucking clue of what was going on, was almost impossible. Zacky and I have gone through so much together, since we were young even. I needed to have some sort of faith in this all. As I was pacing back and forth in the waiting room, a doctor headed towards my way. His face didn't tell me too much so I needed to hear what he had to say. "Hope for the best, expect the worst," those were the only words that ran through my mind before the doctor began to speak.

"Are you here for Mr. Baker?" He asked.

"Yes, is he okay doc?"

"Well, he lost a lot of blood but we were able to give him some blood transfusions. Also, he's pretty bruised up, when he is released, make sure he gets lots of rest. Right now he is asleep. He's a very lucky guy, that airbag very well saved his life." The doctor said.

"Oh thank God, can I go see him?" I asked him.

"Yes, he's in room 309. Once he wakes up, I will determine if he can go home or not." He smiled at me reassuring that Zack was okay.

"Thank you so much." I said as I half ran to his room. When I got to his room, I opened the door slowly not wanting to disturb him. There he was laying on a hospital bed all bandaged up and bruised. I broke down crying, this was the last thing I wanted to see, I was just glad he was okay though.I sat down in the chair next to him and grabbed his hand that laid next to his side. I held it and just cried.

"I'm so sorry I did this baby. I know you're going to tell me this wasn't my fault but I can't help but feel like I'm the one to blame. We have our beautiful daughter and our home, I'm just ruining things because I'm being selfish and dumb. I promise you though, everything is going to get better. I will fix everything for you. I love you Zachary James Baker. I love you so very much." I whispered while crying.

"I love you too..." Zack whispered to me.

He looked at me, I could tell it was hard though. He looked so fragile, but thats probably because of the blood loss.

"Baby! You're okay. Did I wake you up?" I asked.

"No, just in a lot of pain. I didn't hear much of what you said either, just caught the last part. Where's Jaymee? Are you okay?" He asked.

"Matt and Val have Jaymee, I'm fine just a small bump on the head. That doesn't matter though. I'm going to go grab the doctor, so we can take you home." I smile at him as I stood up from my chair. I kissed him lightly on his lips and then made my way to the doctor.

As I entered the hall, I could hear Zacky's doctor talking to one of the nurses.

"How's the patient from the car accident doing?" The doctor asked the nurse.

"Mr. Baker or Mr. Andrews?" The nurse asked a bit confused. I paused in my tracks before I walked to them.

"Andrews, I already checked on Baker, he should be able to go home today."

"Mr. Andrews isn't as lucky as Baker. He will be fine, but right now we need to keep him here." The nurse said.

"Excuse me, who was it that crashed into us?" I interrupted the doctor before he could reply to the nurse.

"His name is Thomas, Thomas Andrews."

The person who crashed into us was my father.
