Indestructabe Part 2: Realizing What I've Done
He's What?!
I woke up and went into the kitchen to fix breakfast. Meg needed more clothes so I would take her shopping before we go to the beach. I was cooking when I heard Meg coming down the stairs. She walked into the kitchen and climbed up on the chair.
"Hey baby I was just about to wake you up. I hope you're hungry." I said and she nodded. She was like me, when I got up in the morning I was already energetic.
"Good. I'm making your favorite." I said and her face brightened up.
"Chocolate pancakes!"
"Of course. When we get done eating I'm going to take a shower and then give you a bath, so we can go shopping for some new clothes." I said and she smiled. She loved getting new clothes and trying on different outfits. I finished cooking and I sat down beside her and we ate. When we finished eating, I cleaned the dishes and put them away before taking Meg to give her a bath.
I made sure the water was warm enough for her and she got in. I washed her hair for her and she played with the bubbles. She grabbed a handful and put them on my nose. She laughed and so did I. I finished her bath and took her to her room.
"Pick something out to wear and meet me in the living room." I said and she nodded. I walked out of her room and into mine to take a shower. I stepped into the bathroom and stripped my clothes and stepped into the shower. The water felt so soothing and relaxing. I took my time washing my hair and everything else before getting out and drying off.
I put on my black TRIPP pants and attached my handcuff chains on the and put on my black Harley Davidson 100 year anniversary tank top. I slipped on my boots and put everything I needed into my pocket. I walked down to the living room and she was watching TV.
"You got your shoes on?" I asked.
"Yeah mommy. You ready?"
"I'm always ready sweetheart. Let's get going." I said grabbing her little hand and leading her outside. I locked the door and we piled into the car. I buckled her in and drove us to the nearest mall. I parked the car and cut the engine and helped Meg out of the car. I locked the door as we walked into the building. We walked around the mall and went into several different shops.
"Mommy can we go into Hot Topic?" "Of course." I said and we walked into the store. We looked around and she found an Vengeance University T-shirt.
"Mommy can I have this?"
"Yeah. You can wear that tonight." I said smiling and she smiled right back. We looked around a little bit longer and I paid for the t-shirts. We stayed in the mall for another hour before heading back to the car. I strapped Meg into her seat and put the bags beside her. I drove us back to the house to get ready and go to the beach. I pulled into the drive and Meg already had her seat belt off.
I opened the door for her and she got out with the bags. We walked into the house and I told her to put her swim suit on. She did and so did I. She wore a skull and crossbones one piece and I wore a Rebel Flag bikini. I put things into a beach bag I bought and we headed down to the beach. I laid her towel and mine down on the sand and sat the bag on it.
"Mommy come get into the water!"
"Alright." I said and I picked her up and walked into the ocean. We waded in the water and she kicked her feet splashing me. We laughed and made a sand castle. We sat down on the towels and I rubbed some sun screen on Meg's back, arms, and legs. I looked at my phone and it was almost 6:30.
"Sweetheart we got to get home. We have to be at Matt's at 7 but we'll come back to the beach another time." I said packing everything up.
"But mom! I don't want to leave!" she pouted. I rolled up our towels and picked her up carrying her back to the house. I walked in with her and took her to the shower.
"We have to wash this sand off of you." I said and she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Baby the faster we get this sand off of you, the faster you get to be in Matt's pool." I said and she smiled. I washed the sand off of her and got her dressed in her other bathing suit. I put her in some shorts and the Vengeance University tee. I put her on the couch and turned on the TV so I could wash the sand off of me as well. I finally got all the sand off and changed into some black skinny jeans and a Avenged Sevenfold T-shirt on.
I came out of the bathroom and turned off the TV and walked out of the house and again locking the door then putting her in the car. I pulled out of the drive and made our way over to Matt's. It didn't take long to reach his house but when I got close everyone was already here. What a way to make an entrance. I cut the engine and Meg got out of her seat again. We walked up to the door and she knocked. The door opened to reveal Val. She smiled and pulled me into a hug and Meg waved at her. She let us in and we went out back to see the guys. I stepped through the sliding glass door with Val and Meg and the guys all lit up like a cigarette.
"Ame! You made it!" Brian said coming over and hugging me.
"Of course I did." I said smiling.
"Mommy can I get in the pool?"
"Yeah hunny. Go over to Jimmy." I said and I watched her walk over to Jimmy and he picked her up and carried her into the pool with him. I sat down at the patio table with the girls.
"So Ame. I hate to bring this up...but why did you leave? Matt and I have been so worried about you."
"I'm sorry to worry you like that Val but I wanted to go out and do my own thing and possibly find someone as good as Matt is to you. I thought I did but I was wrong." I said hanging my head.
"What happened?"
"When I got pregnant, my boyfriend and I started having problems. He drank my bank account dry in a matter of months and every time he did get drunk he hit me. I was finally tired of it when I became 9 months pregnant and ready to have his child. The whole time I was pregnant he accused me of cheating on him and he said the baby wasn't his." I said sadly.
"Oh Lord Ame."
"Yeah I know and when I was fixing to have Meg, he came in drunk when I was about to go to work and I told him I had enough. I was leaving him after work. I walked out of my apartment and he pushed me down the stairs. My baby was born with a broken arm and the court sentenced Chase to 25 years in the State Penn with no possibility of parole." I explained smiling.
"That's good. He better not get parole because if he comes after you, the guys will have something to say to him."
"Thanks Gena. I know Brian will beat the fuck out of him." I said smiling. I watched Meg playing in the water with Jimmy and Matt called us to eat. Jimmy took Meg with him and fed her for me while I ate. Matt still could cook the best food in the world. We finished eating and I tapped Brian on the shoulder.
"Can we talk?" I asked and he nodded. I walked around the house with him right behind me. I sat down on the porch and he sat down beside me.
"What's up?"
"I'm sorry about leaving like I did." I said hanging my head.
"Ame..."
"No hear me out...I mean I shouldn't have just walked out like that without saying goodbye." I said pulling out my cigarettes and lighting one up.
"Ame...the past is the past. I forgive you for leaving but it hurt me so much that you left. I started drinking more and smoking more. I couldn't focus on my work. I was mad as hell when you left. Now you're back. I've miss you so much Ame. More than you will ever imagine."
"I missed you too Brian." I said and he pushed my head up to look at him. He leaned in close and kissed me and of course I kissed him back. He held me close and I put my head on his shoulder.
"Sweetheart there is something I've been wanting to ask you for a long time. I was going to ask you this on your 18th birthday. Matt has already approved of it."
"What is it?" I asked confused.
"Will you be my girl? I know little Meg isn't my own flesh and blood but I will treat her like she was my daughter." I sat there for a minute and then shook my head yes. He kissed me again.
"You want to go out tomorrow?"
"Who's going to watch Meg?" I asked.
"I'll ask Matt and Val."
"That would be awesome." I said throwing my cigarette away and standing up. He stood up beside me and grabbed my hand. We walked back to the others holding hands the whole time. Val looked over and seen us and smiled. We all sat around telling stories and laughing our head off. I pulled out my phone and seen a message from Andy.
~Ame you need to call me when you get this...It's important.~ Andy
I started to get worried so I got up and walked into the house. I dialed Andy's number and she answered.
"Ame where are you right now?"
"I'm at Matt's. What's wrong?" I asked.
"Chase has been given parole. He came to my house today and asked me where you were. He had 6 other guys with them and they told me if I didn't tell them where you are they would kill my kids and then me."
"He's what? No this can't be happening!" I screamed.
"It is. You need to go somewhere. Hide out for a few days."
"Thanks Andy for telling me." I said. I looked over and seen Val come in. She stood there looking concerned.
"No problem Ame. I'll call you tomorrow from my parents house. I'll be in Vegas."
"Okay talk to you tomorrow." I said and hung up the phone.
"What's going on Ame?"
"Chase....He's been granted Parole!" I yelled. Her face grew with anger.
"You're staying at Brian's tonight and then we'll go back to your house tomorrow and get your things. All of us are going to be taking a little trip to our cabin." I shook my head okay and we walked back outside.
"Brian, Ame and Meg are staying at your house tonight and then I need you and Matt to go over to her house tomorrow and get her things."
"What's going on Val?" Brian and Matt asked in unison.
"Chase was released on parole." Val said and a tear ran down my face.
"My friend Andy just called me and told me that he came to her house today and he told her if she didn't tell him and his friends where I am...he'll kill her kids and her too." I explained.
"Alright. You and Meg will sleep in my room." Brian said and I nodded. After a few more hours, I was holding Meg and she was starting to fall asleep. Brian looked over at Meg and seen she was getting tired and he decided that we should go ahead and get to his house.
I grabbed the car seat out of my car and put it into Brian's. I strapped Meg in and Brian drove us to his house. I got out of the car carrying Meg as Brian unlocked the door. I found Brian's room and I walked in setting Meg down in the middle.
"Baby I'm putting you to bed." I said and she shook her head no.
"Baby you're tired. You want me to play for you?" I asked and she shook her head yes. I grabbed one of Brian's guitars and sat down on the bed.
"What do you want me to play sweetheart?" I asked strapping on the guitar.
"Darkness."
"Okay sweetheart. Lay there and get comfy." I said and she moved around until she settled. I strummed the song and began to sing.

I ended the song and she was fast asleep. I went into the bathroom and changed into my sleep pants and a t-shirt and slid into bed. I heard the door open and shut quietly and I turned over to see Brian. He stripped of his clothes and laid down in bed next to me holding me tightly. I dug my head into his chest and fell off into sleep.
