Brian’s P.O.V
When I opened my eyes it was sunny and I squinted from it and felt my head pounding, I looked over to the other side of the bed and Erin was still peacefully asleep. I snuck out of the bed taking a shower and brushing my teeth getting rid of the smell of alcohol. I sat there and stared at myself in the mirror and sighed knowing that this was going to be a rough day. When I walked out Erin was lying on her side staring at the window and I noticed a tear fall from her eye and I hurried over there throwing my arm underneath/around her pulling her chest to mine and placing my other hand on the back of her head hugging her tightly.
“I’m an asshole, I am such a fucking idiot for saying what I said and handling the situation this way, I put my career ahead of you not wanting to think about how much I hated life without you but just you walking away from me in general and seeing you cry opened my eyes” I said just holding her to me feeling her slowly but surely move her hands up and grip me tighter.
“I don’t want to lose you or ruin my marriage of Gena and Val” I whispered to her and I could hear her fight back the tears and she pulled back and put her hands on the sides of my face and she looked me directly in the eyes.
“I told you Brian that you are never going to lose me, that I am never going to leave you” She said almost in a hushed tone but there was a dominant tone that let me know that she was serious. I moved my fingers in her hair a little and put my forehead to hers.
“Can I tell you a secret?” She asked and I just nodded and pulled back holding her hand and rubbing her back.
“I feel like… I almost rushed you into this marriage, that there is just so much that I don’t know about you.. or that you don’t know about me and I wish that we did because I am scared that we will resent each other later for it” She said and I kissed her lightly and moved her wavy hair behind her neck.
“We have plenty of time to find out who we are… but I know that I love you and finding out things that we didn’t know about each other is the fun part… you know secretly what I do for a living, I know that you had a crazy evil sister and a bitch for an ex boyfriend… as long as there is nothing like that we are fine Erin, we are strong” I said to her, before this marriage or to any of the guys at the studio or even working I was a super cocky and witty asshole but around her she made me a man, she made me soft around the edges and balanced me out and I loved her for that.
“So you are content with me?” She asked and I just laughed and wrapped my arms around her and picked her up a little throwing her further onto the bed and started tickling her and she laughed really loudly and slapped at my arms.
“Bri please!! Stop!!” She laughed and yet whined and continued to do it but I loved that she was laughing and smiling.
“Not until you realize how much I love you” I said continuing leaning down a little and she just grabbed me and pulled me into a kiss and I stopped putting my hands on each side of her told hold me up and I pulled away and looked down at her as she smiled and I grabbed my phone out and started snapping pics of her.
“It’s too early for this! I look horrible!” She said loudly and pushed it away and jumped on me and kissed me again… damn her for knowing how much I loved her kisses.
“Alright, you take a shower and get ready and I will go downstairs and get some coffee, but I do wanna talk to you and Hannah about the whole subject” I said and she frowned but I put my hand over her mouth before she could say a word.
“Before you go on one of your famous rants, I won’t be mad about anything I just wanted to get a plan going and figure this out with you, now go and take your shower” I said and she started walking towards the bathroom and squealed when I slapped her ass. When I got downstairs I heard piano playing coming from the basement and then cussing every
so often… Jimmy was really into his shit right now. I poured some coffee and saw the party planning book on the table and opened it up taking a look at some of the stuff in there, I was silent for a moment and then I was startled and turned around seeing
Hannah.
“Fucking hell you scared me” I said to her and she laughed coming over and smiling flipping through the pages.
“She has picked out some pretty stuff” Hannah said.
“I was actually hoping to get a peek at the dress that she was gonna wear but I can’t find it in here” I said and Hannah just laughed.
“That’s because you aren’t supposed to see the dress or her in it till the party, this has to be legit, and you two need to figure out the date cause there is also save the dates for the party that have to be custom made and shipped and at this rate if you want really nice ones expedited we are looking at about a grand just for normal ones” Hannah said and I knew that she was probably right.
“Would you be interested in helping me with some of my stuff and just like contributing some thoughts on what Erin and I have been debating?” I asked her and she lit up brightly and ran over grabbing some coffee and sat down smiling.
“I will take that as a fuck yes” I said and she just laughed and I showed her the color schemes that we were looking at and realized that navy and gold was really what Erin was leaning towards because of course Hannah was part of Erin and she knew what she liked. After about 3 or 4 things we were talking flowers and could not come to an agreement and it was at a standstill, it was silent till we heard a giggle and saw Erin laughing at us.
Erin’s P.O.V
I crept down the stairs and sat there quietly watching as Hannah and Brian went over what we couldn’t decide on and I loved everything they were choosing but when they got to the flowers Brian and Hannah were completely confused on what to do and I couldn’t help but let out a small laugh.
“Well good morning” Hannah said and I walked over and kissed them both and then stood their behind them.
“You two are adorable… but if you would have flipped the page you would see that I
already decided that I wanted blue orchids and lilies, my two favorite flowers” I said and both of them just slid back in their chairs letting out deep sighs.
“But the lilies won’t go with the navy and gold scheme that we have going on” Hannah said and I just laughed turning the page and she realized that you can dye flowers, I already had found someone to make it a darker blue and airbrush some gold onto the lilies.
“WAIT so you are telling me you were gonna go with the navy and gold all along!?” Brian said and I knew he was stressed out a little but I showed him the three different color scheme photos.
“I had the flowers set, you can always have them in a different color” I said and walked over getting some coffee and Matt came down the stairs shirtless and Hannah walked over to him and I stole her seat leaning into Brian and the two of them sat down.
“So I wanted to talk about the whole Gena and Val situation, and I know that everyone is gonna cringe but I am not gonna get upset and neither is Matt” Brian said and I just ran my fingers through my hair and motioned for him to continue.
“How are we planning on doing this… we have the party and the wedding coming up and I know Erin is gonna be going out for dinner with Gena. My problem is that even if they picked back up on the whole idea of playing them and taking them personally down… the press is gonna be so far up our asses when we come back that it would be nearly impossible to do” Brian said and I just sighed.
“Yeah but that’s the thing, the press will be so far up OUR asses that the girls could always meet up with them during the night and the press would be more focused if we were out and about or in the studio with the guys, we literally just have to keep them focused on us” Matt said… apparently Hannah and I have zero say in this at the moment… even though they both were right.
“Earth to you two fucking leaders… you do realize that we are the ones who have to actually evade the press?” I asked and everyone fell silent.
“Do you think we can do this Hannah, would we want to try and play this out again?” I asked her and she was silent… no one knew what was brewing in her mind at the moment.
