Brian’s P.O.V
“Johnny! You’re a genius” I said and Johnny lit up like a Christmas tree of course from the fact that I complimented him and Matt held up his hand holding us back for a moment.
“Hannah has her phone though” Matt said knowing that he would have to explain shit to Hannah if he were to go and ask for her phone and I am pretty sure that he wanted Erin out of the loop as well. I saw Erin walk into the kitchen and we all tensed up.
“Honey what’s going on?” I asked her and she just stood there for a moment and rolled her eyes walking over and setting down a piece of paper with the number on it and Hannah’s phone. She didn’t seem to into talking because she immediately walked away and back up to Hannah.
“Is she gonna be okay?” Jimmy asked and I just sighed and nodded.
“You know that this is hard for her… she is probably just trying so hard to help Hannah and I am sure they are both tired of feeling cursed” I said rubbing my head handing the phone to Matt knowing that he was the right one to do this. He rubbed the keys of the phone for a few moments and I hooked the phone up to the computer and just sat there with Jimmy watching the texts.
*Kyle… it’s Hannah* Matt said hoping to lure him in.. we waited having drinks.
*So good to hear from you Hannah… are you alone?* Kyle replied and from that text it seemed that he may not know that we were the ones talking to him.
*Yes I am… why did you call Erin?* Matt replied knowing that Hannah would always try and get answers first about the fact that he called Erin.
*I knew that her sister was around… thought maybe she would have wanted to make a deal… but I guess she is more worried about you* Kyle replied and not but a moment later another text came.
*I couldn’t stop thinking about you Hannah… I need you and I knew that Andrew was never gonna be enough for you… I needed to make my move before you tied the knot with that dumbass rockstar* He said and I saw Matt tense and he was about to type a reply cussing him out but Zack pushed his hand down and everyone stilled.
“Just take a breath… this is for answers” I said to him and he just took a huge breath in and responded.
*You knew Erin wouldn’t take that deal if you were watching me Kyle… honestly Andrew was a joke and I moved on… but not to you. Don’t make this a war because you will lose* Matt replied and suddenly there was no reply… we sat there for fifteen minutes and there was nothing… but Hannah called for Matt and Erin came down motioning that Hannah wanted to see him and Erin sat at the computer in the living room with her hand on her chin and she looked like she was dying inside.
“You okay E?” Jimmy asked her from the table and I watched her turn her head and nodded lightly and I walked over to her and put my hand on her left shoulder and she reached up with her hand and held it at my fingertips but then she pulled it down at little more and I was confused.
“Hey dude look over here” Jimmy said doing something crazy and I felt her slide my ring off and then back on but when I walked away to use the bathroom and I looked down it was a completely different ring and it was amazing. I walked back out and Erin just smiled while she still looked at the screen and then went back to what she was doing. I heard Matt storm down the stairs and Erin just stared at him for a moment and then I heard Hannah stomp down the stairs and she walked to Erin with her hands on her hips.
“YOU GAVE THEM MY PHONE!?” She nearly yelled at her and you could tell that she was really really frustrated with the situation. Erin’s glare shot to Matt and I could tell that she was livid with him now and I knew that Erin wasn’t gonna take this well especially since Hannah already got mad since they had to come home.
Erin’s P.O.V
“FOR FUCK SAKES WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT MATT!? COULDN’T KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT?!” I screamed at Matt after Hannah had come down ready to swing at me and I felt her push me a little and I just took a step back trying not to do this with her.
“YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT KYLE CAN DO AND YOU FUCKING LET THEM TEXT HIM AS ME!? THIS ISNT ABOUT MATT! THIS IS YOU! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!?” She yelled at me and I just turned around rubbed my head and Jimmy looked at me wide eyed and I felt Hannah throw her arm around my neck and tightened and I sat there choking and I grabbed her arms and threw her to the couch and I fell to the side and we both gripped our bodies in pain.
“HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND!?” I yelled and literally walked away from her grabbing a photo of the first day she got here and I pushed everyone out of the way and I threw the frame outside and it smashed against the concrete and she just sat there with me and I pushed my hair back and Papa Gates pushed me out of the house and threw me in the car and to the beach. I sat there in silence while he watched me and I didn’t want to believe that there was this much fallout between the two of us. I felt Papa Gates rub my back and I sighed.
“I can’t go home” I said to him quietly and he just pulled me up and hugged me and I cried.
“You can come out to Sacramento with me so that I can get my essentials for the men going back to the studio” He said and I just thought about it for a moment and I pulled out my phone and looked at the screen and I walked to the edge of the sand feeling the cool water cover my feet and I threw my phone out into the ocean. I walked back and Papa Gates led me to the car and he ignored any and all calls from everyone and when we arrived I sat on the couch with my head leaning back and started hating myself for smashing that photo.
“Your husband is really persistent” He said and I motioned for him to answer and I heard Brian talk to him but right now I was only thinking about Hannah and how much we disliked each other and I am sure that right now Brian wanted me home… but I wanted to do this.
“Erin he wants to know if he can talk to you” Papa Gates said and I kicked off my shoes and pulled my hoodie sleeves down and grabbed the phone.
“Hey” I said and Brian sighed.
“Come home Erin” He said and I could tell that he already missed me. I also heard Hannah yelling and cussing about me in the background.
“I am a horrible partner” I said and hung up…. The next few days… were gonna be hard on the both of us.
