Zack’s P.O.V

Hannah and Erin sent me out for food and I found this to be the perfect time to search around Erin’s place to see if there was any sign of working for the government. I walked around Erin’s room and was rummaging through her file cabinets and such and there was nothing… until… I saw an engagement ring. I looked at the teardrop shaped diamond and the put it back into the same area and left… I wasn’t livid… but I wasn’t happy either.. I was just kind of there. Yet another thing I didn’t see coming. After getting food I came back and Erin was more awake than she was an hour ago.

“Hi” She said and kissed my cheek and smiled and all of us sat there eating in silence.

“Why are you all being so quiet?” Erin asked putting her french fry down. She looked around and I could tell that Hannah was tense.. nobody spoke a word though and so Erin reached and grabbed the IV ad pulled it from her hand and got up and changed.

“Erin where the hell are you going?” I asked her grabbing her waist and she sighed.

“I am sick of nobody wanting to tell the truth” She said and Hannah shot up and walked over to her pulling her to sit back down.

“There is something I gotta say… I didn’t want to do it earlier because I didn’t want to alarm you” Hannah said to Erin and she stiffened up.

“You can’t hide things from me at this point Hannah” Erin said to her and Hannah took a deep breath in and Matt rubbed her back.

“Alright so almost right after you were coming out of sleep… I came face to face with Kevin. He told me that you didn’t kill Andrew.. he is upstairs in the ICU” She said and Erin fell completely silent. I don’t think that she knew how to process Kevin and Andrew in the same sentence… I could tell also that she was thinking but when she did a double take at the window of the room I was starting to worry about her.

Erin’s P.O.V

I slowly picked myself up from the bed and walked to the door looking at both directions
in the hallway and then came back in and closed the blinds and sat at the back of the back of the bed. Zack came to the side and rubbed my hand and looked at me.

“What are you so afraid of right now?” He asked me and I pointed out the door.

“I saw Kevin walk past the door” I said to him and Matt and Hannah instantly started walking around the hospital scouting out the area. Zack got up as well but I pulled him back down not wanting for him to leave the room as well.

“Can I ask you something?” Zack asked me sitting right in front of me holding my hands and I nodded waiting.

“How far did your relationship with Kevin go? I want you to be completely honest with me” He said and I was sent back to the past… not used to having to mention what I did with Kevin or what we were in the end of the relationship… but I wasn’t gonna lie.

“When I told him that I was leaving him to move I was engaged to him” I said to Zack and he took a sharp inhale in and smiled a little but then went back to normal.

“Were you like scared of commitment?” He asked me and I shook my head.

“No it was nothing like that… it was exactly like Hannah and I both explained. We wanted to change.. in the end we felt that our relationships were with the wrong people and we just wanted to start fresh around people we didn’t know” I said and he just sat there rubbing my left ring finger and I flashed back to the proposal and then shot up out of the bed.

“With the situation and state of mind I am in I would prefer not to think about this anymore” I said and he just sat there and I walked toward the door and Matt and Hannah walked back inside.

“No sign of him.. I think it would be best to just get out of here and go home right now.. I don’t feel safe having Erin and Hannah here with Kevin and Andrew lurking around” Matt said grabbing stuff and I just got up and pulled Zack with me listening to the nurses complain about me leaving. We made it into the parking garage where Matt and Zack were parked… and the tires were slashed…

“Oh my god… this shit just go real” Matt said because his car was his baby… fucking hell I couldn’t believe that Kevin and Andrew would start working together like this… I am sure that Kevin found Andrew and they teamed up on this. Zack was on the phone with Brian and Jimmy and they were already hung up on getting even with this… but Hannah wouldn’t want them to hurt them and neither would I.

“Yeah alright I will see you over there… yeah I understand… mhmm alright bye” Zack said getting off the phone.

“Alright dude Johnny is gonna come by with the car and then he is sending someone for the cars and then Jimmy and Brian are gonna meet us at the house to talk about Kevin and Andrew and make a plan that is okay with the girls” Zack said and Hannah just held my hand as we waited; she was just as nervous to be out here as I was.

“Don’t worry, Johnny will only be a couple minutes so we can start heading down to the lower level” Matt said and then when we got out there was Johnny pulling up in an all black SUV. We got to my house and I was flipping shit along with Hannah when we realized that Brian and Jimmy were inside.

“How the fuck did those two get inside?” I asked with Hannah stopping right inside the door pointing at the two of them who cluttered our living room with equipment. These two really needed to explain themselves right now…
