Eyes closed forever
Skin cold as stone
No more breath inside
Now gone forever,
was my light in life
Why would this happen to him?
He was still so young
Only had lived twenty eight years
This was supposed to be a happy time
Full of love and family
The holidays shouldn't contain tragedy
But sadly
He took him
Our best friend
The role model of many
The inspiration of us all
It wasn't his time
Never should it have been this early
Oh my god, why
Why must you have taken him from us
I know it to be true
That he should have lived longer
Not even his enlarged heart
Should have taken him early
What could he have done
To cause this misfortune to happen to him
His enlarged heart
Held more love than three people combined
He was kinder than a house dog to his master
He never fear for anything
He contained a light
That healed the broken heart
With all that it could
Lived a life so endlessly
saw beyond what others see
My god
Bring him back to us
I will sacrifice anything
To have my light back
My rock
My happiness
My mentor in the subject of life
But I can’t deny
He live fifty years’ worth
In his short twenty eight
I can’t stop replaying
That fateful day in my mind
I’m trapped in a vicious cycle
Where the endings are all the same
As any other.

So I wrote this thinking that I would need to write a poem for English because we were studying poetry. Also know that my teacher most likely doesn't even know who Jimmy is or Avenged Sevenfold is so when I got stuck I used song lyrics so that I could get to 100 lines. Turns out I didn't even need to write it but I still kept it. It's 102 lines long. Please don't hate guys.
