The rest of the week came and went and it was now Saturday and I was actually excited. Zack and I still are doing great. He hasn't asked me to move in with him yet, thank god. I was just about to leave to go to Brian's house. He still hasn't told me how we're going to have this argument. I guess I'll just play it by ear. Usually he'll piss me off anyway, so surely it won't be that hard.

I pulled up to his house and noticed that everybody was there. I was probably the last one to show up. Leave it up to me to be late. I got out and made my way inside. Everybody was out back and I could smell the barbeque grill.

“There's my lady.” I heard Zack say once I opened the door.

“Hey.” I smiled at him. He walked over to me and gave me a kiss. I could feel Brian's eyes on us. God, I never thought about how awkward it would be when we all would be together. Everybody exchanged hello's with me and I ventured and sat down next to Val.

“Hey mamasita.” She smiled and handed me a beer. I opened it and took a big gulp.

“Hola.” I laughed.

“Brian is starring daggers at you. Is he pissed?”

“Well, this party is happening for a reason.” She cocked an eyebrow.

"Oh, yeah?"

“Yeah, we have to make a public scene. Zoe found out about us cause Brian thought it would be great to “casually” run into me at work. The idiot.”

“Ah, I see.”

“The funny thing is I don't even know what type of fight we're getting into.” I chuckled. “He never told me.”

“Uh oh.” She laughed. “I wonder what he's going to come up with.”

“God knows.”

An hour went by and the party was in full force. Brian hasn't said a word to me and I was beginning to think he was backing out of our plan. I've already had three beers and I was beginning to feel a little tipsy. Hopefully, I won't get too drunk tonight and do something that I'll regret.

Right now we were all gathered in a circle, just talking and reminiscing. However, that's when Brian brought up the past.

“Yeah, one night me and Lex were going at it and...”

“Brian.” I snapped. This was it. He knew exactly how to piss me off.

“What?” He laughed. “I'm just talking.”

“That's not funny. You know how I feel about that incident.” Leave it up to him to bring up me cheating. The asshole.

“C'mon it's funny! We all forgot about it now. We don't care.”

I stood up. "You have no respect for me what so ever do you?"

He rolled his eyes. “Don't be so dramatic.” Everybody just stayed silent around us. This was a normal thing and they knew it. They knew we would never grow up and stop this arguing constantly. Little did they know, it was just an act. A damn good one too.

“Me? Be dramatic?” I scoffed. “Let's all remind ourselves of Brian. The most dramatic man there is.” Everyone kind of chuckled.

“She has a point, bro.” I heard Zack say. He shot him a look.

“Half the time he acts like a woman.” I laughed.

“He IS a woman at heart.” Zack joked. Oh, I see they think I'm just joking around. Can't complain. Brian was furious though.

“If I'm such a fucking woman why does your wife keep coming to me, huh? Twice now she's fucked me. I'm obviously more of man than you. Otherwise, she wouldn't of came back the second time.”


"Brian." I scolded. "That's not funny. We're just kidding."

“Fuck you.” He narrowed his eyes at me. God, he looked at me so cold. Maybe this was a bad idea. Or maybe he was just really good at acting.

I shook my head. “You're pathetic.” I then got up and walked inside towards the bathroom. If I played it right, he would be following behind me. Hopefully just him and not Zack. I smiled the whole entire way to the bathroom. How could I be mad when we just played that good of a scene? I stomped to the bathroom and slammed the door. Not even a minute later, I heard a knock.

"What?" I snapped just in case it wasn't him.

“Let me in.” It was Brian. Whew. I opened the door.

“That was good, babe.” I smiled at him.

“Don't babe me. That was fucked up what you said.” Ouch.

“What?”

“That was like demanning me.”

“And you don't think what you said hurt me?” My smiled faded quick, along with my good mood.

“It was an act, Lex.”

“So was mine. You really think I feel that way about you?” He sighed.

"That was pretty good, huh?" He smiled at me. There we go.

“Just think, after this we get to take out our frustrations.”

“If I can even make it 'til then.” He winked at me.

“Fiesty are we?” I smiled at him and grabbed him into a kiss. It was like fire. God, the way this man came make me squirm. The familiar warm sensation grew between my legs and I was more than ready. Just with a simple kiss. He pulled away, though.

“Save it for later, babe.” He smirked.

“No.” I whined. “Here. Now.”

“Now who's fiesty?” He chuckled and lifted me onto the bathroom counter. “We have to be fast.” I nodded and he lifted up my dress and slipped off my undies and was inside me filling me in seconds. I moaned quietly as he thrust. It has been so long since I've had Brian and it felt exquisite. It took him a whole two minutes to get me to the top. And there were the words.

“Cum for me baby.” And I did and he followed shortly after. We sat there for a second regaining our strength. He pulled his pants back up and smiled and kissed me.

“I love you, Lex.”

“I love you too, Bri.” And he left the bathroom, me following shortly after.

Once we were back outside, we acted as if we talked about it and patched things up. The rest of the night went smoothly. I mainly stayed with Zack that way it wasn't suspicious at all. He was getting drunk, but I was okay with that, because that meant that he would just go home once everyone else did and that gives me the night with Brian. Oh my god. I actually wanna get rid of Zack and replace him with Brian. I don't know if that's a good sign. I wonder what Brian is going to tell Michelle... I'll ask him later. After Zack leaves.

“Babe, you're getting pretty wasted.”

He laughed. “Yeah, I know. I haven't partied like this in awhile.”

I smiled at him. “Yeah, but maybe it's time for you to head home. Why don't I drive you since you've had so much to drink and then I'll just take you to get your car tomorrow?”

“That sounds good.” He kissed me on the cheek and made his rounds to say goodbye. I told everyone I would be right back and we headed out the door. God, I feel like a mother.

“Why don't you stay with me tonight?” He slurred.

“I can't tonight.” I told him.

"Well why not?"

“Because you're too drunk.” I lied. “You're going to go home and the moment you hit your pillow, you're going to be passed out.”

“So, it would be nice to have you sleep next to me again. When will you move in with me?” He asked. God, I forgot how truthful he gets when he's drunk.

“Zack, I'm not ready to move in with you. I don't know when I will be. I told you that I wanted to take this slow. You're lucky I said yes to your proposal.”

“So you don't want to marry me?”

“I didn't say that.” I sighed. “This is why I don't like to be around you when you're drunk.”

“Now I'm intolerable?”

"Zack, just fucking stop." I yelled as I pulled into his driveway. "I'll see you tomorrow."

“Whatever.” He mumbled and opened the door and got out. I watched him go inside before pulling out of the driveway and making my way back towards Brian's house. God, I don't know what his problem was tonight.

Once I got back to Brian's everyone pretty much was gone. There were only two cars there besides Zack's and Brian's. And I'm pretty sure one of them was Michelle's. I bet you a hundred bucks she's planning on staying here tonight. I walked back into the house and everyone was in the living room. Everyone being Jimmy, Michelle, Leanna, and Brian.

“Hey, guys.” I smiled.

“I didn't think you would come back tonight.” Jimmy laughed. “Zack leaves and you usually follow behind him.”

“He was a little too overbearing tonight.” I rolled my eyes. “He's just too drunk tonight. He's probably passed out by now. At least he better be.” I laughed.

“Well we were about to head out cause I figured the party was over.” He looked at Leanna.

“Yeah, it is.” Brian piped in. “I'm about to head to bed.” He looked over at me and I nodded indicating that our plan was still on. “Chelle why don't you just go home tonight?”

“I was planning on staying here tonight.” She said, disappointed.

“I'm not really feeling up too it tonight. You can tomorrow, 'kay?” She smiled and nodded. She stood to her feet and gave him a kiss before telling Jimmy, Leanna, and I bye. She was actually being civil... shocker.

“Alright, we're out of here to.” Jimmy and Leanna stood up and gave us a hug. “You leaving to, Lex?” He asked.

“Yeah, I'll be out the door right after you guys.” I smiled and they both nodded and walked out.

“I'll get a bag ready and I'll be out in the alley in ten.”

“Alright, I'll act as if I'm going home since Jimmy is probably watching me.” He nodded and I walked out. I could see Jimmy's car just a couple houses down. God, that man. I love him to death, but he's got to trust me. I laughed to myself. I waved at him so he knew I knew he was there. Not two seconds later, my phone was ringing.

“Hello.” I laughed.

“Sorry, Lex. I just promised Zack...”

“I know, I understand.” I chuckled. “Don't worry about it.” I got in my car and pulled out of the driveway.

“Okay, well don't worry I'm not following you home or anything.”

“Please don't.” I laughed. “I just wanna go and pass out.” I saw him out of my mirror turn around and go the opposite way. Whew.

“Alright. I'll see you later Lex. Love you.”

“Love you too, Jimmy.” I hung up the phone and when I knew the coast was clear I turned around and went the back way to Brian's alley. Once I was there, he was already waiting. He jumped into my car and we made our way back to my apartment.

“I feel like a fugitive.” He laughed. “Takes me back.” I shook my head and laughed.

Once we got to my apartment, we immediately went straight to the bed and made up for all of our rude comments to each other in the right way.
