Forgotten Faces

Brian´s POV

When we went backstage I grabbed Matt by his arm, “What the fuck was that?! Why didn’t you tell me what you had planned?! I wanted to play this song to Mia first…”
“Oh… I didn’t know that. I thought it would be a nice surprise… And you saw it, they fucking loved it!”
He was right the song was pretty cool to play live and the fans definitely loved it,
“But I wanted that Mia was the first to hear it… I.. We.. wrote it for her.”
Matt shook his head, “You not we. You wrote it for her and I promise you, man.. she will love it and it won´t be the last surprise for you today. But I will go to the hotel directly I have someone waiting for me. But you go ahead have a nice evening with the others. If you have any questions ask Jimmy…”
And then Matt was gone. What the fuck was that for a cryptic shit?!
I went back to Zacky, Jimmy and Johnny who were still standing near the stage talking to the roadies and handing over the guitars.
Jimmy looked really excited, “What’s up Jimmy, was a great show, wasn´t it? But at least you could have warned me…”
Jimmy had the grace to look a little guilty but remained silent.
“Do you know why Matt had to go so quickly?” I asked Jimmy.
“Well… he just said something about a girl… but I don’t know for sure…Now come on Brian, let’s get to our dressing room and celebrate!”
Jimmy was even weirder today then on other days, what’s going on?!

Zacky opened the door to our dressing room. Jimmy pushed his way to the front and even grabbed Johnny and shoved him out of the way. I heard a female gasp and a little sob then Jimmy was trailing kisses all over a girl… not any girl… It was Heather… so that was the solution to his happiness!

Zacky was in the back hugging and cuddling another girl. At first I thought it was Gena but then I realized the long dark brown hair falling down her back.
My heart stopped for a moment and then it started beating even faster.
That couldn’t be true could it?!
I was frozen in place. “Hey, don’t you want to say hello to your girl, Gates?”, Johnny clapped me on the back.
I started to step forward, Zacky still had her in his arms. I could hear him whispering, “I hope you enjoyed the show? Jimmy told us you two would come. We missed you.”
I grabbed Zacky by his shirt and dragged him to the side. That was when Mia´s and my eyes met. Mia started to grin and threw herself into my arms. I hugged her so tight and never wanted to let go. “Thank you for the tickets… That song… Babe it was amazing. I can’t even say how lucky I am to have you. I missed you so much!”
She was talking like I was the one who organized the whole thing and I just wanted to thank whoever did that for me!
That was when Jimmy and my eyes met he whispered, “Just roll with it…” So it was Jimmy´s idea to get them here. I mouthed, “Thank you.” And Jimmy nodded.
