Forgotten Faces

I was hanging out at the Bar waiting for Heather to arrive. She had to work a little longer and I was early. But in England it was never too early for beer, thank god.
We were in the same Bar as the last couple of days; we tested some but were stuck here.
They played some good metal and rock music and it wasn´t too crowded. You could dance but you could also just sit at the bar and relax.

The name of the bartender was Mike, he already saw me heading over to the Bar. I just wanted to sit down when he already placed a beer in front of me.
“Thanks Mike you’re the best!” I grinned at him. He just smiled back at me.
“Where´s your gorgeous friend?”
“Heather is still working, but she will be here in about an hour, I hope.”
Mike nodded and headed to the other end of the Bar to hand over another Whiskey to a customer.

The time waiting passed very slowly so I decided after the 3rd Shot to do something. I haven´t met somebody that I knew so I got up drowned the rest of my beer and headed to the dance floor.
I wasn´t into dancing much but the song just pulled me to the dance floor.

I was swaying my hips to the old Greenday Song. After a couple of minutes passed someone was dancing close behind me. I didn´t turn around.
After another minute this someone put his hands on my hips and started to dance very close to me. I smiled to myself but still didn’t turn around.

After the song ended I casually walked back to the Bar. I hoped that my dance partner would follow.
And he didn’t disappoint me.
I really looked at him; he seemed a little older than me. He was wearing a black jeans and a black shirt with a Pantera logo on it. He had a lip piercing and smiled at me. When I saw the dimples I had to smile back at him.
“Hi, thanks for the dance, can I buy you a drink?”He smiled again.
“Yes sure I’ll take a beer. Name is Mia by the way and you would be…?”
“Matt. Ok, Mia just give me a second and don´t run away.”
Matt went to the other side of the bar and came back with two ice cold beer.
I got a message from Heather:
Sorry sweetie, I´m done for today, won´t come to the bar. We meet back in our room. Have fun! I know you will… Kisses H

Matt was a great company for the evening. We were dancing and getting really close. He was kissing my neck during our dance. When we headed back to the bar, I was looking at my watch it was after 3 in the morning.
I smiled at Matt “Sorry, but I have to go. I have to work tomorrow. But thank you for the evening. Maybe we will see us here again?!”
Matt looked at me “I will be here by ten tomorrow, promise me that I will meet you here, ok?”
“Yeah, ok I will be here.”
I called a cab and drove home to the hotel room and was falling into a soft sleep with the image of a smile with two dimples.
