If anyone could scare the shit out M.Shadows, it was Silas.

Shadows may have acted like he was king of everything, but even the devil himself had to look up to someone to get their orders.
The way hell worked was that every few hundred years, the devil would get bored of ruling the underworld and pass it on to one lucky person, a demon that has proved themselves to be worry of having such power bestowed upon them. Shadows had been that lucky person for Silas- and the man still scared him, even now.

So when Gates and Johnny walked into Silas' mansion, they were happier than they had been in a while. Not only did Johnny want to save his sister from Shadows' greasy clutches- but Gates hadn't been to his family home in a while.
That's right. Silas was Gates' father. And that's how Shadows and Gates had become friends. Gates didn't want the power of ruling the underworld, so his father had told him to go and find someone suitable.

"Father? Mother? Bandit?" Gates called out to the almost empty house, and it was when the pair of them heard laughter from the drawing room, that they grinned at each other and walked through into the huge parlor. His father was sprawled out on his favorite throne- the same one he'd had removed from the house where Shadows and the rest of Avenged Sevenfold currently resided. He'd left all the other furniture.
"Son! To what do I owe the pleasure of your visit? Come to tackle your friend off of my daughter?"

Both Johnny and Gates turned to look over at Bandit, Gates' younger sister who just happened to be one of the deadly sins- Lust. She had her tongue in Zacky's ear, and even though he was in front of her parents, his hands were running up and down her body like he couldn't get enough of her. Gates had long since accepted that Bandit and Zacky were going to be an item for as long as they could keep it- she wanted the hard driven lust that only Vengeance could offer her- and he just wanted an easy, rough fuck.
He'd made him swear to treat her right, and it looked like he was.

"Not today, though it's a little un-nerving, having that happening in the same room as me. Did I disturb you Bandit?" he asked, a cocky smile forming on his thin lips as she broke away from Zacky and stuck her tongue out at him, getting to her feet. She wore a long, flowing dress of dark red- the colour of lust after all and the two of them embraced.
"Of course you didn't, Syn. I'd be more worried about Mr can't keep his cock under control over there" she smirked as they pulled away and Johnny couldn't help but stifle a laugh.

"No, today Johnny needs your help. His sister Hurricane has just arrived in hell, and it seems Shadows forced him into signing a contract that meant he could keep her as his own as a submissive, rather than go into the care of her brother" Syn said, slipping down into a chair next to his mother and gratefully accepting a cigar from his father. Nodding slowly, his dad gestured for Johnny to sit in the chair next to his, so they could talk business.

"Tell me about Hurricane, Johnny"
"She's a good kid, sir, but I know that Shadows is only using her for sex. She's like a rag doll to him- as soon as he breaks her, that'll be the end of it. I only signed that damn contract so he wouldn't kill both of us when she came down here. I just want to make sure she's safe, sir" Johnny lamented, taking a deep breath.

He too was intimated by the authority Silas had over him, but the seniority never seemed to bother him before. Silas looked over at his son, and then at his daughter, who had gone back to teasing Zacky ruthlessly.
"I understand your reasoning, Johnny, I'm sure Syn would feel the same way if Bandit were in that situation. And you're saying there's no moving Shadows on this subject?"

"I went to see him earlier, and he refused to revoke the contract. I was forced to go to a higher authority, sir"
Silas looked over at his daughter for one last time, the clogs in his brain working over silently. On the one hand, the contract had been signed and there was really no going back on that. If Shadows desired this Hurricane to be his, that was what would happen.

That was how he got his wife after all.

But...what if it was Bandit who had been forced into Shadows' grip- to have as his own, and to be treated however he pleased? Syn would come to him for help, and he'd have to turn his own son away. Johnny had no parents to go to with this situation- if anything, Silas felt more like a parent to this one of his son's friends than he had to any of his other gang members.
"Alright, Johnny I'll see what I can do. Bandit!" he cried and his daughter looked up, once again leaving Zacky cold.

He cursed under his breath as the woman blew him a kiss and glided over to her father. Syn knew he was almost finished and stood up, stubbing out the cigar on the golden edge of the couch- knowing that it would burn right off.
"Yes father?" she asked sweetly, almost turning off the lust in her entirely, and he smiled, gesturing for Syn to put his arms on his sister's shoulders- the sign of protection in the underworld.

He would take a bullet for his little sister anyday- both father, son and daughter knew that.

"I would like you to return with Syn and Johnny to the mansion in the city and befriend this Hurricane. Find out about her relationship with Shadows, and at any mention that she is unhappy or being mis-treated, you are to bring her here, where she will stay under Syn and Johnny's care" Silas ordered, and Bandit began to protest. She liked her life here, she didn't want to play investigator for her father. She just wanted rough sex with Zacky in the privacy of her own bedroom.

"But Daddy I---"
"That is my final word, my darling. Don't worry, you may not be there long" Silas said sympathetically, leaning back in his throne as he grimaced, unsure of what Hurricane was letting herself in for.

"Shadows can turn nasty very, very quickly"
