Twenty two: Kiss me, beneath the milky twilight, lead me, out on the moonlit floor.
“Zacky no we can’t do this” I said turning my face away from his lips, he sighed and rested his forehead against my neck.
“Riley why are you doing this?”
“Because I don’t want anything to change, what if we do get together and then it all blows up in our face? Zacky I wouldn’t want to lose you at all”
“But how will you know that unless you try?” He was still holding me tightly, my hands resting on his biceps as I looked at his shoulder, I couldn’t bring myself to look at him in the eyes.
“Because I’m scared, Zacky I’m still so confused by these feelings I thought that we never had that kind of relationship, Zacky I want it, but I’m scared”
“Please just give us a chance Riley, I’ve waited thirteen years just to tell you how I feel, don’t make me wait even longer, I know you feel the same way, and I’ve been wishing for years that you might just even have the tiniest reflection of those feelings for me. Riley just let me show you, that we will work, we can work”
“I’m scared”
“I know, but I’ll be here every step of the way, and its only us now, no one has to know if you don’t want them to” He must have seen the resolve in my eyes because a smile tugged at the corner of his lips.
“Can we just keep it between us?”
“Forever if you want me to” His smile was fully fledged now.
“You can’t tell anyone”
“It’ll be hard, but for you anything” He said, I smiled a little bit and nuzzled my face into his shoulder. Zacky kissed my neck and then my cheek then my lips, he picked me up, wrapping my legs around his waist and carrying me into his bedroom. “Just in case he decides he’s coming back” He said locking the door. Then he kissed me again, his lips were soft and his
snake bites were surprisingly warm, they felt good against mine. I sighed and cupped his cheeks with my hands, stroking my thumbs across his face.
He laid me down on his bed and hovered over me, tangling his hands gently into my hair, he hummed and laid down on top of me, the heat from his body radiated through to me, making me shiver. I could smell his cologne, it smelled good , I always knew that Zacky smelled
good but this time it was different, it made my heart jump into my throat and made me want to sweat, it made me hot and bothered having him close like this, having his hands all over me.
His hands moved to the hem of my shirt and unbuttoned it slowly, pushing it off my shoulders, I pushed his off over his head and his hands started to wander. I think as I said before, having Zacky this close to me now, it was making me all hot and bothered. I was getting turned on and I think he knew this in the way that I suddenly kissed him harder, wrapped my legs around his waist and tightening my hold on him.
“Riley wait” He pulled away
“Sorry” I said
“it’s okay babe” He smiled “If that’s what you want”
“Not yet” I said “I think we should wait this out, I mean the last time we were both upset but now we’re… well I don’t know what we are but it’s not like before Zacky” I finished. He nodded slowly, chewing on his lip.
“Okay… but if it’s alright, I’d really like to kiss you again, you’re amazing” I blushed crimson and averted my eyes.
“Stop making me blush”
“I can’t help it Riley, you are”
“Flattery will get you nowhere Mr Vengeance”
“Well damn, I was hoping I could sweet talk you out of those jeans, but I guess I’ll just have
to work harder”
“A lot harder if you want me out of these jeans” I grinned at him
“Damn” But he was smiling as he said it, he moved his head to the side, going back to kissing my neck. I sighed and let my head fall to the side, running my fingers over his shoulders and shoulder blades.
“I thought of a way you might get my jeans off faster” I said
“Hmm? *Kiss* what’s that?”
“Can I have that foot rub you owe me” I said
“Didn’t I give you that?”
“No, and I want one now” I said
“Okay give me a minute” He said getting up off the bed and grabbing a bottle of lotion off the top of his dresser.
“Do I want to know what else you use that for?” I asked him
“Maybe not” He grinned up at me. I sat up and pulled my shirt back on, “Aww I liked it better when you weren’t wearing a shirt” He said
“Slow down Zacky, and rub my feet”
“Yes Ma’am” He said
I was trying to keep the conversation up, but he was good at this, and I tried to talk but he hadn’t even started on my left foot and I was out.

“You gonna wake up anytime soon?”
“No”
“But you’re awake now”
“No I’m not” I said burying my face in his chest.
“You like my foot rubs then?”
“Yes, I wouldn’t mind seeing how good your back rubs are”
“If you’re lucky that might turn into a full body”
“And then you’ll pull me into bed and make sweet love to me”
“I can do that right now for you if you want me to”
“Not right now, I’m still sleepy”
“Shame, I wouldn’t mind doing that again, I love it when you say my name”
“You’re soft Zacky Baker; you might be hard on the outside but inside you are gooey”
“Don’t tell” He said nuzzling his face into my hair.
