Seventeen and Pregnant (Avenged Sevenfold)

Today wasn’t a good day at all. Why? Well because next week was going to be Christmas and not only was my parents coming over, oh no they wanted me and my brother over for the whole week. Which was nothing good for me, or for my brother for the most part. My mom knew that there was something off already because I wasn’t talking so much and I wasn’t being my normal self. I was always hyper and going crazy, out boarding and such. Today just wasn’t my day. So, I packed up to go to my parents house. Zacky, Johnny, and Jimmy knowing about me being pregnant, as well as Katie but Brian and Matt were clueless. They were bound to find out sometime.
“Ready?” I asked Katie who came inside with her duffle bag, looking down to her phone biting her lower lip. She looked up and nodded before going back to her phone and texting Matt, I knew this because she has been texting him non stop. Seriously, that’s all she did was text him.
I sat on the edge of my bed, my clothes ready, my camcorder and my music all tucked away. Now, we were just waiting for Johnny to hurry the heck up. When we were waiting though, Jimmy had texted me asking if I was alright today. I sighed and said yeah. I was being short, annoyed and wondering over and over in my head of what happened.
“You girls ready?” My brother came to my door with his bags in hand and I stood, grabbing mine and heading downstairs to the car were I threw it in the trunk along with their things and got in the back seat. Katie and Johnny exchanged looks and Johnny got in the drivers side, my sissy coming and sitting beside me and I came and cuddled to her.
“It’s going to be fun,” Katie said happily trying to get me to smile but I knew that it wasn’t going to be fun at all. My mom was going to figure something bad was wrong with me. I mean, she had two children. She was going to pick it out and my brother and I were going to get an ear full.
“Aw yes, parents kicking you out and banning them from their lives, what fun,” I said sarcastically. I knew they wouldn’t do that but I couldn’t help but worry. My brother rolled his eyes and took a drag of cigarette smoke, letting his hand hang out the window.
“They won’t do that,” He said looking at me, “I should know,” He said gently. I nodded. My brother had a baby when he was sixteen and ever since then, he hasn’t seen him. He said that he missed him from time to time but he lost contact with the mother since she had moved out of Country saying and I quote, “You’re a sick freak I hate you and your nothing to me, short -” Then said a bunch of swear words. Like…a half page full of curse words. It broke my brothers heart but I was happy, the girl was a total jerk.
“Who was she?” Katie asked carefully. Johnny looked at Katie and told her that her name was Kathleen, explaining the girl he once knew with blond hair that was long and beautiful, how much he loved her and how much he still loved her. I smiled at my brother who still had this wishful, hopeful smile on his face.
“He misses you,” She whispered looking down to her feet. I sat up and hugged my sister but then something hit me.
“What?” I asked her. She looked up at me with tears in her eyes and my brother slammed on the breaks making me and Katie nearly flying forward; this is why we where seatbelts. For when your brother slams on your breaks and nearly gets us into a car crash in doing so.
He unbuckled and turned around to look at Katie straight in the eyes. I haven’s seen my brother this anxious since Jimmy trashed his bass and blamed it on Bella, Matt’s dog. I was laughing my butt off but Jimmy hit me and it actually made me cry but that was beside the point. This was more important, my brother was looking at Katie with hope and fear.
“Hi Johnny,” Katie smiled with tears streaming down her face. After a few more seconds, my brother was in tears.
“Kathleen?” He whispered, coming and gently touching her face. My eyes grew wide, no…this can’t be the jerk that left my brother leaving a letter that would make a sailor blush and left my brother heart broken. When she nodded, I nearly wanted to jump her. I was held back with shock and my brother coming and kissing her. No…no it can’t be her!
“I missed you so much baby,” He whispered. She smiled, touching his hand against her cheek.
“I’m so sorry I didn’t tell you earlier I…God Johnny I was so nervous,” She said lightly. I had so many questions running through my head with her.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa, back up,” I said in shock, “You are not the Kathleen that left him broken and you did not have a kid with my brother,” I said and Katie sighed, biting her lip and looking at me.
“I’m sorry sis I-” I can’t believe it. I looked at her and shook my head.
“No, your not my sister,” I said and opened the car door and stepped out, “Your not even my friend,” I said and slammed the door shut. My brother came out and was trying to come after me but I flipped him off and walked off to my parents house knowing that this Christmas was going to be a living hell.
