Chapter 8: Today is a work day. (based on a true story)
*Matt*
I was the first arriving at the studio. It was a little normal, it was only 6 AM, and we had to start working at 8. I had the keys, so I entered Inside the studio to try to prepare my voice. I suddently saw a light in the bathroom and I was wondering why the fuck there was a light on. Does anyone was there, or maybe the guys forgotten to turn it off. I decided to go see what was going on with an iron bar in the hand. I was walking carefully. Who knows? Maybe there was a killer in there. When I opened the door, I really didn’t expect him to be there. Jimmy was sleeping on the floor.
« Jimmy, Wake up dude! What are you doing here?
-What, Matt.. And you, what are YOU doing here?
-I just wanted to work with my voice, when I saw that the light in the bathroom was on. What are you doing here dude?
-I fell asleep.
-… You sure that wasn’t a bet with Johnny?
-Nah, not at all. » He answered me without looking me in the eyes, and I knew that, when the guys don’t look in the eyes to answer a question, they were lying.
« Look me in eyes and tell me that wasn’t a bet.
-Okay okay, that was a bet. Johnny did bet with me that I can’t spend a night here alone.
-Why are you two always doing stupid bets? What are you, 12?
-Shut up we’re still kids in our heads, so what? Go work on your voice and leave me alone, I still have 1 hour of sleeping left.
-Fine. But don’t get mad at me like that, I’m just kid ding. »
I hate it when Jimmy gets angry at me for no reason. I’m just kidding and he always takes it so seriously.

We arrived at the studio at 7:15 AM and I was surprised that Jimmy was already here. Usually, Jimmy and Johnny are late. Matt always comes before everyone so the fact of him being already here didn‘t surprise me that much. Me and Zacky always arrive together, so when he was late, I was late as well.
I haven’t told Zacky that I’ve asked Gena to come at the studio today. I know that he’d have been mad, he didn’t want to see her since he saw her cry. I sort of didn’t want him to be Gena’s boyfriend anymore because I wanted him to bed my boyfriend.
*Johnny*
I was freakin late. I should’ve been at the studio at max 8 AM at it was 10:45. I know I’m going to get yelled at. I need to find an excuse… I enter Inside the studio and Matt comes to talk to me.
« Johnny boy… What are we going to do with you? You’re not the « king », you don’t come late like that every day.
-Sorry dude, it’s just that.. My clock didn’t ring this morning.
-You sure?
-Yup. 100 percent sure. I woke up at 8h30 but then I missed the bus, so I took it at 9h30, and fans recognized me and asked me for autographs…
-Whatever … » Ah phew thank God, he didn’t yell a lot.

I was supposed to sing my part in « Critical Acclaim » from the new record.
« …don’t respect the words you’re speaking, gone too far, a cloone »
-That sounds great Jim, but can you try to make your voice sound higher when you do the « a clone »? Like this: « A clooooOOONE »
-Telling them it’s all for something real, don’t respect the words you’re speaking, gone too far, a cloooooOOOOONE…
-Yeah, now that’s perfect Jimmy! You rule man.
-Thanks a lot Brian. » I wink.
They played the music and I just did the « Shh, quiet you might piss somebody off » .
« You like that?
-Yeah.

I couldn’t stop to air-guitar because I just fucking loved the riff that’s in Critical Acclaim. All the morning I was like: « Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo… » But my favorite part was The Rev singing, he’s got that magic in him that makes him sound so great when he sings. He did so good that we actually proposed him to sing the chorus. And the intro was also pretty awesome because it was different from all Avenged Sevenfold songs. It kind of, kick your ass.

Syn asked me to come at the studio today because he had a surprise for me. I hope it’s a good surprise… I don’t like surprises because I’ve never been pleased with a surprise. I opened the door of the studio and I saw Zacky. He also saw me and he looked really weird. Not the same as usual…
« Gena, baby… » I sigh. I look at Haner and say:
« Wow, Syn, if that was the surprise you talked about, then this is a bad surprise. I don’t want to see him anymore, get it? Oh and look at my ring, I’m not wearing it! I’m going to ask the divorce in about 2 months. I’m also leaving Huntington next to go in NYC, and you’re not going to stop me Baker. » After I pronounce these words, I saw him crying and just because I didn’t feel like seeing him cry because that’d make me cry too, I just left the studio, went back Inside my car and went back home.

This is based on a true story when it comes to Jimmy and Matt speaking at the end, just saying lol.The rest is all invented xD
