A World Of Silence
Please don't let me be one of them!
"Over here!" I yelled out loud as you saw the girl with the torn clothes get chased by the twisted corpses from fallen humans. She couldnt be more then 12 years old maybe 13, and the way she ran was almost as twisted as the walking dead that swarmed the world. But there was still a sign of humanity in her brown eyes. The way her face lit up when she heard my voice was nothing you could describe.
Without thinking i took the DesertEagle in my left hand, and the millitairy issued knife i got from the troopers months back, was held firmly in my right hand.
Charging forward against the beings that plagued my existance with the gun held towards the tallest zombies head i fired without hessitation and hit a perfect headshot, the body of the monster twitched and fell limp to the ground seconds afterwards. The two that were left where still chasing after the poor girl wich made me even more pissed of, gripping the knife harder and pounsing on them and nearly cutting their heads of at the first try. Their growling soon faded as i continued to strike my knife several times against their throats. The satisfaction of their last growls made me happier then usual.
Looking over my shoulder i saw the girl stare at me like i am a godess. You am quite the opposite, i never thought that god would save you, help you or grant you any hope. What was left of the hope i had vanished with my sister 3 months back. I stood up and brushed of my arms from the dirt and watched the girl approach me. I put a smile at my lips and walked towards her.
"Hi. Im Emely" The girl almost whispered to me before hugging me, making me giggle and hug her back lightly.
"Hello to you to! And i'm Kida!" I let out after 20 seconds of hugging away my stress.
She pulled away from the hug after a second and let out a sigh of distress.
"What's wrong kiddo?" Was the only thing i could say before wiping a tear of her bloody cheek, while hoping the blood was not hers.
"I-i-it's my shoulder" She managed to sniff out after a second. "It hurts like shit!"
"Do you mind if i take a look?" I said with a half worried smile. And all she did was shake her head.
Lifting the rather large lether jacket she had on herr, Taking a look at the dirty bandages i sighed out.
"What happened?"
"I don't know it has been hurting like that since i woke up a day ago now"
"You didnt look?" I said with a raised eyebrow at her statement.
"Yes i did but it looks weird so i just wrapped it in some bandages i found at my hideout" She said while crying her heart out.
"I'll just take a look, Ok?" I said with a forced smile on my lips. No answer, her crying stopped her from talking completly and i just lifted the bandages. Almost throwing up at the smell i swallowed what felt like my entire breakfast. The wound was big and.. And half rotten. Disgust in my eyes as i held my other hand infront of my mouth hoping to prevent my breakfast showing itself. But to no avail i turned around started coughing my lights out. Emely slowed her crying down and looked at my back, i could feel it.
"Is it that bad?" She said between sobs, and all i did was nod and calmed myself down.
"How loong do you think i have?" She said as she started crying again. And all i did was shake my head.
Making her cry like her eyes were the niagra falls.
"Please don't let me be one of them!" She yelled at me wich make me force out a tear as i looked up at her beautiful brown eyes.
"Please kill me, DON'T LET ME BE ONE OF THEM" She yelled pleadingly at me making me cry soft tears.
"I-i-i can't" i said with pain in my voice. The first human i had seen in 3 months since the death of my sister Jennifer. And i had to kill her, it wasnt fair.
"Please, do it. I can't be one of them. Not like mother" With those words i took my gun and pointed at her head. She started smiling like it was her birthday, her eyes turning a slight gray.
"Thank you" She said as i pulled the trigger with closed eyes and a loud bang was heard all over Huntington. Slowly opening my eyes And looked down at her, she was so peacefull so. So like my sister.
I couldnt stay anymore the sight of her made me cry harder than ever. It was like watching my sister die all over again. My sweet innocent baby sis Jennifer.
I managed to make my way over to the side and walked around the corner where i was greeted with something sharp in my side, looking up with my mouth open and i was greeted with the sigh of a creature ,no,a human with snakebites. And then everything turned dark and all i heard was hurried footsteps closing in on me.
"Im coming home Jennifer" I though as my mind left my body.
And now i feel like a complete poop face since i made this story on a acc that got deleted... So, i can't update it. *goes back into the corner of shame*
